Our stay with Marco made our trip to Venice. I've never had such a caring, thoughtful and kind service in a B and B.|| Marco's breakfast is delicious and we could stay and chat all day! We were so grateful for Marco's knowledge and tips for navigating Venice.|| The B and B is perfect, so many lovely touches (including Marcos delicious home baked bread and cakes!) , perfect cleanliness and so comfortable. Within walking distance of everything you could need. We would love to come and stay again please Marco! X

Marco runs this 3-room B&B and shows his love for what he does every day. The breakfast he serves is superb and a chance to get to know Marco and his other guests. Marco is one of the nicest and most personable people I have ever had the pleasure of meeting. Rooms are very clean and comfortable, and the B&B is in a great location. Walking to and from the train station takes just a few minutes, and yet you are in the heart of Venice when you walk out the door. There is nothing missing here and the price was very good. Good restaurants, bars and Gelato are just steps away. I will definitely stay here again if I should ever get back to Venice.

We came to stay with Marco in July 2020, sadly in some ways we were the only guests, but while in Venice it was amazing as we felt like we almost had the city to ourselves.||||Marco has taken every precaution and care to help visitors stay safe during Covid, which we really appreciated.||||We stayed for 3 nights, feeling like we should have stayed a few more. Sadly Marcos reputed amazing breakfast was not available due to the Covid rules, but Marco introduced us to the café which sites directly opposite. In fact staying here you feel like you are in the real Venice, away from the tourist traps and welcomed into the venetian family. There are also 3 restaurants within 200 metres which can offer you anything from basic to really authentic venetian food. Marco can also recommend where you can get fantastic Ventian cicchetti (Tapas)...||||Marco is a superb host, an original venetian (there are few left) who is happy to give you amazing hints and tips that will make a real difference to your stay. ||||The rooms are all individually decorated and clean and have good ventilation in case of warm weather, which we had.

Great location (very close to train and bus station as well as vaporetto stop). Il Giardino Di Giulia, a beautiful old listed house with great views. The host Marco is super helpful and prepares delicious homemade breakfast. Thank you Marco! We will be back!

I recently stayed six nights with Marco. I chose his place because of its very convenient location near the railway and bus station and because Santa Croce is less crowded with tourists than other parts of Venice. The rooms are very spacious and mine looked out onto a historic church courtyard. There is a good library of books about Venice in the hallway. I found Marco to be one of the most interesting people I have met and extremely obliging with information, advice and practical assistance with travellers’ needs. Marco cooks a great breakfast, (including pancakes made to a secret Irish recipe) in addition to providing a wide range of cold smorgasbord options. Stimulating conversations with Marco can be conducted in either Italian, English or French. I would certainly return and recommend Marco’s place to other travellers.

Marco is a very nice host, he provided me with useful information and recommendations for sightseeing and dinner. My room was on the ground floor, bigger than I expected, nice view to the church garden, antique furniture and very nice decorated with nautical objects. Every morning I chatted with Marco during an excellent breakfast with delicious home-made pancakes which was the perfect start of the day. The palazzo is close to the bus station (good when I arrived from airport), near the train station (for my trip to Padua), very close to Vaporetto stop (for sightseeing on the canal with line 1 or 2, trips to Lido, Murano and Burano) and in a very nice neighborhood with many restaurants and bars where also locals go. ||I really enjoyed my time there and definitely recommend the place!

My wife and I stayed at Marco's place for four nights. Marco is the perfect host! He speaks fluent English (and French too) and told us the best places to eat and explained where to get the vaporetto from, for our planned excursion the following day. He made us delicious pancakes for breakfast, with excellent coffee and homemade cakes on offer too.||The property is within walking distance of both Santa Lucia train station and Piazzale Roma bus station (approximately 5 and 10 mins respectively). This might not sound like a big deal, but if you're arriving by train or bus in the middle of summer, you won't want to be walking far with luggage or paying for an expensive water taxi. Despite being located in a busy 'Calle', the rooms are quiet and as most tourists have left by nightfall, there is little in the way of noise.||We will definitely be returning and can't wait to catch up with Marco again!

I stayed 3 nights at Marco‘s BnB. Even the booking procedure and first exchange of E-mails was already very welcoming.|The BnB is just 5 minutes walking distance from the train station which means, you can get there before getting annoyed by the crowds ;-)|Marco was seemingly already waiting for me and directly opened the door while I was still wondering whether I was standing in front of the right building. This charming host made my stay in Venice unforgettable with his stories and recommendations. The BnB consists of 3 rooms which are all nicely decorated and way more spacious than I would have assumed for a small palazzo from the 16th century. The breakfast is great and the coffee brought me every morning back to life ;-)|Also the location of the BnB is perfect as you‘re in walking distance to main sites as well as to bars and restaurants without being directly in the center of the tourist hordes. I wouldn‘t want to stay anywhere else when I‘ll return to Venice!
