B&B La Veduta

We stayed “On the Water” in the old town of Scilla and it was absolutely wonderful! Antonio was the perfect host – warm, attentive, and genuinely caring. The rooms are beautiful and comfortable, with a romantic balcony floating right above the water, offering breathtaking views. Breakfast was rich, fresh, and delicious, and the whole experience felt personal and special. A perfect place for couples looking for peace, beauty, and a truly unique stay

😊: This location is absolutely spectacular and unique and the breakfast is provided with very much attention to detail, pride and authentic cuisine using local produce. Bonus is the hospitality and kindness of Antonio and his family. The interaction that was experienced and sharing of local knowledge has made our trip very special, and additionally Antonio very nicely went out of his way to substantially help us out with transportation assistance. Stay in this accom in this town and you will not be disappointed..

Superb in every respect. Antonio is such a genuine host, solely interested in you having a great stay. There are only 3 rooms. Our top room (Almo), overlooking the sea was fabulous, clean, very comfortable with a large private bathroom directly opposite. Located on the fringe of Scilla, all the restaurants and bars are nearby, though the beach is a good 15 minute walk through the town /tunnel beyond the castle in the next bay.|Breakfast is very good with wonderful cakes baked by Antonio’s mother. The breakfast area is small with just 2 of the 3 tables able to be on the outside balcony.|La Veduta is a very special B&B as is the town of Scilla, though the growth of tourism may well spoil its charm. As we left, a new extension over the water right next door to La Veduta was going to inevitable spoil the view to the castle. Progress I suppose but with unfortunate consequences.

This is our second stay at La Veduta and it will not be our last. The location and view is perfect with bars and restaurants at your fingertips. The beautiful crystal clear beach is Scilla is only a ten minute walk and Antonio will happily suggest the best beach clubs. Antonio and his parents are incredible hosts. Nothing is too much trouble and they will make you feel very welcome. We cannot wait to return.

La Veduta was exceptional on all counts. Amazing view of the shoreline and town from the balcony. Great room and shower, all very clean and pristine. Breakfast was phenomenal - and some of the breakfast must be baked on the premises as the whole place was filled with the aroma in the morning. Antonio and his mother are lovely and super helpful. We were unlucky with the weather, so really hope to make it back again. ||One word of warning - if you are driving, and put their address in Google Maps it will take you down a local street. You can’t park down there and it is super tight, like an inch or two of clearance each side on our car, a nerve-wracking experience! Stay at the top of that street, don’t go past the palm trees.

The photos do not lie! B&B Veduta offers gorgeous picture postcard views of Chinalea bay, right on the waterfront. The rooms are well appointed, bathrooms spacious, useful mini-fridge, very good breakfasts, and best of all, the host, Antonio, who was always very quick to respond to any questions, gave good recommendations and really helped me out beyond the call of duty regarding luggage and car parking. Thanks Antonio, for everything!

Amazing place, fantastic people Antonio and his Mom . This was our best stay in Italy. This is real Calabrian hospitality. We felt here like with family. Thank you so much. For sure we will come back.
