B&B Les Dépendances

We rented out all 4 rooms as we were a large group. The house is warmly and tastefully done up. Though the kitchen is not available for use, the hosts did accommodate us as much as possible. Considering we were a full family we would have appreciated the use of the kitchen. ||The rooms are spacious and lovely. Very well thought out and organized. We had a great time here.

Yes this place is in a lovely quiet rural location, and yes it is possible to walk to the town, but the only feasible way to walk there involves a farm track which would be muddy in the rain and is not lit at night. Shared bathroom did not suit us, although we knew about it before booking so that's our own fault! Breakfast is a communal affair on one large table, which also doesn't suit me as I'm not very sociable until I wake up properly. Breakfast choice was minimal, although good quality, particularly the juice and coffee. Rooms are nice and spacious. I can see that this place would be a popular choice for some, just not for me :-)

Imagine getting to a place, in the middle of nowhere, really, that has a cozy living room with an amazing bookshelf - a mix of books ranging from Balzac to Murakami - and a communal kitchen. It so happens that the other person spending a couple of days there is a Japanese student, who studied in Finland and has come to Namur (!!!) on his way to Dinant (!!!!!) because he wants to send a photograph of Adolphe Sax's house to his girlfriend who plays the saxophone. In the morning, we are served a very good breakfast for 5 euros. Many thanks to our host. We will go back there every time we go to Namur.

The B&B has been undergoing some refurbishments, it has a nice modern decor.|Windows in The Elephant Room let in plenty of daylight. The bed is very comfortable, therefore enables good quality sleep.|Overall, very welcoming and pleasant service.

Bel endroit un peu caché, très cosy à 10 minutes du centre ville. Attention à la route d'acces qui n'est pas adaptée aux voitures basses. Très agréable d'y rentrer après une journée de visite. La chambre est agréable et spacieuse, la literie est bien. Le seul point négatif : la salle de bain partagée et le mitigeur capricieu et difficile à régler. Petit déjeuner correct et suffisant pour 5€ par pers. Les hôtes sont très agréables, sympathiques et discrets. Merci pour votre accueil 👍

Zeer nette kamers. Er zijn 4 aparte 2 persoonskamers die gebruik kunnen maken van een huiskamer (met tv) en een "keuken" waar het ontbijt aan 1 tafel wordt klaar gezet. Het ontbijt is optioneel en 5 euro pp, maar als je dit niet neemt is de eigenaar iets geïrriteerd. Koffie & thee kan je gebruiken. Het is niet de bedoeling om de koelkast te gebruiken voor persoonlijk spullen. Naast het bankje voor het mooie huis is er geen plaats om buiten te zitten. De omgeving is erg rustig en met ca 5 km vanaf de citadel goed te bewandelen of te fietsen. Er is een vlakke route tot aan de citadel. Op ca 2 km is er een smakelijk pizzeria. Voornamelijk afhalen en bezorgen maar je kan er ook prima zitten(wat we zelf hebben gedaan)

Belle ancienne demeure au calme. Chemin d'accès difficile et pas adapté pour les voitures basses. Salles de bain du 2em. étage petite. Salle à manger commune avec ce qu'il faut. Hôte discrets. Check in à 18 heures un peut tard.
