Loved this charming b&b where we stayed for 3 nights. The owner Annalisa is very warm and kind, and makes the best cakes for breakfast! The location is excellent, on the edge of the old city - you just walk around the corner and you are there. Excellent spot if you arrive by car too, as there is a quiet free carpark just off Via Cardella which is only about 3 or 4 minutes walk from the b&b. Super comfortable bed in a very pretty corner room (Margherita) with its own lounge area. Everything is finished beautifully, from the tile strip on the walls to the painted lines around the ceilings, and everything is wonderfully clean. Thanks Annalisa for a great stay.

We had a wonderful time in Pitigliano. What a stunning little place. It was all made better by the Locanda Il Tufo Rosa!! The room was very clean and comfortable and the owners couldn’t be more welcoming!! The Locanda is also placed strategically in the opening of the old town and we had nice bar just opposite. Perfect!! Thank you!

We were driving from Rome through the countryside toward Siena and Firenze and stopped overnight in Pitigliano. Our room at Il Tufo Rosa was perfect for us, very clean, comfortable and neat with a spectacular view of the valley below. The hotel is centrally located to everything in the old town and our hosts, Annalisa e Roberto were very friendly and helpful. The next day we had a beautiful hike on a trail to nearby caves. Highly recommended.

We just returned from 2 weeks in Italy and Pitigliano was easily our favorite place. Il Tufo Rosa is perfectly situated at an intersection where you can grab a bite, take in amazing views, wander the small streets and dip back into your room if you've forgotten something. Extremely convenient. The service was super friendly, we loved our room and view and will definitely return! Love to Annalisa and family!

The house house is beautiful and old ... well renovated ... this is were the positive aspects end. ||No elevator, steep stairs. Public parking only quite a way from here. Thin wooden doors make you hear every step of your fellow guests ... kids next door can steel your sleep.||||The hotel is located at the turn of a street and very loud day and night ... my room was minute, it rained a lot and I did not have a chance of my clothes drying as despite late october the heating was not turned on. I l have a habit of writing during my trips - the desk was so small, I had to put all that plushy clutter on the wardrobe to have space to put even a post card. Italy has so beautiful accomodations - I would not want to stay here again.||||The experience was topped off, when I tried to ask the landlord in the little downstairs gift shop a question and he kept blabbing away with some friend shoing him little videos on a mobile ... he could not be bothered for at least 10 minutes until his friend left the shop ... I've rarely felt as unappreciated as a customer as I have here ... arrogance and ignorance make for an unpleasant couple here ...

Clean, air-conditionned, well located auberge. In front of a cute bar/coffee shop called the Madragola. Friendly service. Stunning town: try to see the cliffs at night. The only drawback is there is no elevator service, but this was not a problem for my family and friends (we rented the entire place).

The room was fine. The air-con worked, there was a fridge. Clean and comfy. We were facing the main road but it was quiet at night. We had asked for a view room when we booked but that didn't happen. It was okay though. ||Parking was just up the road towards the market. Free on the sides of the road. We drove up to the piazza to drop off our bags. There is a bell by the door, check in at the shop first but if the shop is closed the owner will come to let you in. You pay when you check in. ||There is a Coop about 1 km away for supplies. ||
