B&B Louis 1924

Wonderfully cozy B&B in picturesque surroundings yet close to Brussels and Gent. Warm service and great breakfast. Would definitely come back!

Contemporary-chic converted barns set in a picturesque locale. Superbly decorated throughout with comfortable furnishings - the bed is great! The only critique is that rooms could benefit from a kettle or coffee machine for hot drinks and perhaps a small steamer for preparing clothes. Staff are very friendly & more than happy to speak English. Breakfast is continental buffet style with a great range. The atmosphere is the breakfast room is excellent, small & quaint with candle-lit tables and ambient background music. The team went above & beyond; I was due to arrive well beyond the reception hours but this was expertly handled with good, clear instructions given to me to ensure I could collect my key and find my room. Located just 15 minutes from Brussels-Zuid station (Eurostar), I have a new favourite location for short stays in Belgium whilst on business 👍🏻

Very nice and quiet place to stay. Even though it is relatively close to Brussels, the environment is somewhat rural (for Belgium). It is conveniently close to the major freeways (never more than 10 minutes) but has a rural character. We stayed in the suite which was lovely. Breakfast was elaborate as a buffet. Overall we were very pleased with the place and the service, and we will certainly come back.

The bed and breakfast is decorated in a pleasant contemporary style. The room was comfortable and spacious. The flooring was coming undone in one part but otherwise the room was in a good state of repair. Breakfast offered a good choice of quality products. The members of staff were welcoming. The location isn't that far from Brussels whilst being in a rural setting.

This B&B is set in the Belgian countryside and is blissfully quiet. The room (I stayed in #1) was lovely, large comfy bed, mini bar, complimentary water and TV (no English channels as far as I could tell). Breakfast was simple but very nice, and the service was great throughout, excellent English spoken. Taxi to airport costs c€70 takes 30 mins, and also takes 20 mins to arrive after ordering. Highly recommended.
