We stayed at Palazzo Bruchi for several days in early September. Anna is such a wonderful and thoughtful hostess. The rooms were clean, modern and comfortable. The breakfast was amazing with an assortment of items to select from. The coffee was soooo good. And the location is very convenient. You can easily walk to museums, restaurants and shopping. However it is tucked away in a courtyard area so you do not hear the noise of traffic or people. Anna went out of her way on our last day there. We had an early pick-up, before breakfast. She had food prepared for us and a coffee maker we could use so that we had something to eat and drink before we left. She also arranged for a cab to pick us up. I highly recommend Palazzo Bruchi and sweet Anna for your stay in lovely Siena.

Another great choice from the signorina, concealed behind a large nondescript set of castle sized doors a veritable gem of a b&b. Up several flights of stone stairs past other apartments, we find a mysterious olde worlde door. That leads us to our room, and what a spectacular room it is ! Very spacious with an awesome ceiling far above and large windows looking out on to the splendour of Siena and it's city walls. All very clean and presentable with good amenities such as air con unit, mini fridge. Breakfast room a fair trot away with more stairs ( oh joy ! ). There is a lift in the main building by the way, somewhat quirky in it's operation but useful all the same. Hosts Anna and Leopoldo give a very warm welcome and a good continental breakfast. This establishment deluxe is very well located as well for reaching the many marvellous historical sights Siena has to offer. Even walking the narrow streets is an memorable experience. So thoroughly enjoyed our brief tenure here and it deserves the highest of recommendations.

We stayed here with a group of 8 people, and I can’t say enough good things about our experience. Anna was absolutely wonderful with explaining the city layout to us, giving us easy to understand, clear directions about how to reach the property, recommending restaurants and places to go that were fantastic, even arranging a day trip to Florence for us. The property itself was beautiful. The rooms were clean, and each room had its own private full bathroom, which was a huge plus when traveling with a group. The mini bar in the house was also great on the nights that we didn’t feel like going out to get a bottle of wine. Anna was extremely responsive and helpful and not to be repetitive, but I cannot stress enough what a fantastic property and lovely time we had in Siena.

Stayed only 1 night and it was excellent. Huge bed and great shower. Very clean and tidy and a sensational breakfast the next morning. Anna and Leo were great hosts with excellent instructions on getting to and entering the property. Everything is walkable from the property however the train station is not close - but doable. Anna also gave great recommendations on what to see and do while in Siena. Thanks for a great stay.

Well decorated and furnished room with beautiful painting on ceiling that is original. Anna is the host and she is fabulous - very attentive, thoughtful and gracious. She made our stay easy and convenient. Gave us advice where to go, made dinner reservations and called for taxi services as needed. Breakfast is provided and delicious. Highly recommended if you ever visit Siena. This is the best place to stay.

If you’ve been looking for the place where old world charm meets modern comfort, book here. Enter an old (really old) wooden gate into a courtyard and climb the stairs to a bright, clean, well-appointed residence. |We rented the entire B&B as an apartment for our stay and could not have been happier with the welcome (pastries, cake, fruit, coffee even though that wasn’t part of the deal), the clean rooms, a bathroom in each room, a charming reading loft and a nice little kitchen. |We were steps from everything we wanted to see and our hosts, Anna and Leopoldo, were responsive before and during our stay with information and recommendations. |I wish I had better words for this property or that I could rate it higher. Our entire group (from 6 to 72) hated to leave.

We had a marvelous stay. Soft beds. A delicious breakfast. And of all the traveling we have done, Anna was the most helpful hostess we have ever encountered.

Our group loved the hotel and the hostess, Anna. Pre-trip communication, our welcome, and help getting our cab for five and luggage on departure were timely and professional. The hotel was very elegant, thrilling my brother and his significant other who have been doing a grand tour of the continent and staying in the most elegant of places. We had three windowed bedrooms, each with modern private bath and one two floor room with state of the art skylights and a private bath. The common areas were elegant. Anna put out a great Italian breakfast. Our group of avid cyclists enjoyed the brick plaza and its outstanding views of St. Francis and the countryside. We used the table every day for our post ride lunch. The location is the best I could imagine, on a vibrant street with shops and restaurants catering to locals, but only a short and fascinating walk to the grand Plaza de Campo. Top notch and highly recommended.
