This B&B is outstanding. My husband and I stayed for a week in the apartment occupying the base of a 13th Century tower. It has a wonderful vaulted brick ceiling and massive walls which combined with technologically advanced windows and blinds provides insulation from the outside world. The apartment has its own entrance, a stainless steel kitchenette, a contemporary bathroom and very comfortable beds. Monica and Luigi provide an excellent breakfast to suit all tastes in their apartment in the adjacent renovated Palazzo. They are very caring hosts and gave us good tourist advice. Moreover, while we were visiting in June, there were magnificent sunsets over Lake Trasimeno and Luigi kindly drove us out there for a couple of hours to enjoy the spectacular twilight scenery and the local savoury bread. ||This B&B is right in the heart of historic Perugia with excellent transport options, particularly the state-of-the-art Mini Metro and escalators which link the old town to the railway and bus stations. We visited Assisi by local bus and took a guided tour to Gubio. There were many interesting places we could have visited but we preferred to immerse ourselves in the archaeology, history, culture, food and wine of Perugia and to enjoy the evening street theatre and music in the historic squares. In June, Perugia was quiet - unlike Assisi and Siena which were overcrowded with tourists. I highly recommend Perugia and this stunning B&B.

It was simply delightful! Our room had great charm about it, with light streaming in from a window above. Quiet and most adequate for our needs. Plenty of storage space, writing desk, good lighting, free wifi and a very fast internet service. The furnishings and furniture had a quiet elegance about, much contributing to a calm and refresging atmosphere. The hosts gave us a warm welcome and providing us with much needed information about lovely Perugia, besides, they were very genuine in their interaction with us, making us feel welcome and at home. Ah, the breakfast was delicious and varied.||I would not hesitate in recommending Sanfiorenzo B&B if you are staying in Peerugia!

A month ago, in May, we came to Perugia for our friends’ wedding and got this absolutely stunning place to stay in. Yes, when you pass it by from the outside, you won’t ever guess how cool it is! ||It is roomy, has one isolated bedroom and a big couch, so two couples can easily stay here. The kitchenette is small, but enough to cook a pasta dinner for 8(!!), there are a lot of plates and tableware in the cupboard, a little fridge, three(!!) mokkas of different sizes to brew your morning espresso, electric kettle and heating system.||Two bathrooms, and make sure to refresh in a stunning cave-like shower! ||Interior is simple, yet sophisticated, I especially adore old painted trays, a chest and handmade napkins with Perugian griffons.||The place is 3 minutes walk from minimetro, and 5 minutes walk from historical center, there are restaurants, shops and grocery stores in a walking distance as well.||Our hosts were super-friendly and helped us with any question we had.||Thank you guys, great job! Totally recommended for a true Perugian experience!

We were visiting Perugia for the Jazz Festival & were ideally placed to enjoy the music & the city. Luigi & Monica made us very welcome & were fabulous hosts. Breakfast was great, especially Monica's delicious cakes & biscuits. So much more to see in Perugia & we will definitely stay at B&B San Fiorenzo again.

We spent 3 days in the minor room--just outside the main gate to the house, almost a "basement" so very comfortable on warm days. All our communications with Luigi were essentially "painless' with booking arranged on the honor system. We showed up, they had the room. In fact, we arrived to the aroma of baking breakfast biscotti (still wish I knew the secret ingredient that I'd never smelled before!) Breakfast in the owner's sitting room, with a view over the towers of Perugia, was substantial! The coffee was like nectar too. ||||Our room had a very high window and a great ceiling fan (found the remote control in the desk drawer), the design of the room and bathroom was modern and sophisticated--think boutique hotel. The price was very very reasonable on top of that! And the location is absolutely wonderful--just a short (uphill) walk to the center of the old part of town, it's cathedral and art museum, shops and restaurants.||||Perugia itself is delightful, offering wonderful strolls through centuries old streets, under arches to ledges with superb views. Just go, and have a wonderful time!

Luigi e Monica and their son Andrea were exceptional in hosting me. The facility is cozy, homely and private. Walking distance to almost all attractions in Perugia. Luigi provided me with wonderful recommendations for restaurants.|I was able to take an excursion to the scenic lago Trasimeno - oh boy everything from the sites, the food, the wine the evening passagiata and late night bar crawl. All worth it

The host were very nice and gave us a lot of information about which were the best local places where to eat. (Monica does amazing cookies!!) The location is great, only 2 minutes walking distant from corso vannucci but enough to keep the noise away during the night. Strongly suggested! we have to come again in Umbria Jazz, everyone says its amazing!!!

My cousin and I stayed here for the euro chocolate festival. Getting to the apartment was a little challenging due to the festival but otherwise it was perfect. The location was perfect, Luigi was friendly, helpful, and amazing, the room was great, and yes breakfast was wonderful! I would love to come stay again!
