B&B San Marco - Realvenice

This was a superb choice.Alice was a fantastic host - we learnt so much about Venice from her during our stay - she even invited us out to a concert! |Breakfast was so sociable, chatting to other guests and getting recommendations. |The room was beautiful: stylish, comfortable and with beautiful views over the canal.We had an en suite, but there is a bathroom right next to the other rooms. |The bed was comfortable and the shutters and mosquito screens on the windows ensured restful sleep. There is a fridge in the corridor for guest use|Don’t stay in a soulless Air Bnb - they are having a highly negative impact on the livelihood of Venetians and our trip was enriched by this gem.|We felt so much more immersed in the city thanks to Alice and her family and had a truly magical stay. |Thank you - we will be back.

Stayed a couple of nights and enjoyed the hospitality of the local hosts who are kind, friendly and helpful. Located in a perfect place to go around anywhere in Venice.Easily accessible coming from the airport with the boat and ideally located above a canal. Generally a great accomodation selection by any means.

Sadly, our experience at this B&B was not good. The owner lied to us (twice) about the air conditioning (saying it worked when it did not), and lied to us about one of the window screens, which was broken. Our nights were very hot, dark, and uncomfortable (there are many mosquitos in Venice, and this B&B receives direct sunlight in the morning, requiring the shutters to be closed for good sleep). Breakfast was 20-30 minutes late each morning and was quite skimpy. The owner seemed hurried and distracted, and the service was terrible. You'd do better to do elsewhere when staying in Venice.

We were so pleased with our stay at B&B San Marco. It was everything we could have wanted and a little piece of quiet in the busy-ness of Venice! The area was very peaceful whilst not far from main sights, and the view from the room was spectacular. The room itself was beautiful and spacious. Hosts were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was nice. Great value for money for Venice. We’ll definitely stay there again next time we go to Venice.

Lovely hosts, very warm and kind. Nice small Italian sweets every morning with a coffee. The view is lovely - a quiet street over the canals with minimal traffic. Definitely recommend:)

Just left Venice today after a 2 night stay at Marco and Alice's B&B. They are lovely people and their home has everything you need. We had one of the bedrooms which shared a bathroom with another guest, which worked out great. Ideal location on a quiet canal, but still within easy walking distance to the tourist sites. If we are lucky enough to return to Venice, we look forward to staying with them again. Grazie mille, Marco e Alice!

This is the second time we've stayed at this lovely B&B. Alice was sweet and lovely, with many thoughtful tips. The room is great, over a quiet canal. Coffee and tea available, and a small fridge that is shared. Totally worth the several flights of stairs with our luggage!

The best place to sleep in Venice! The landlords are an incredible family, very warm, very welcoming, committed to preserving Venice from its authentic facets, and the rooms are beautiful, they have a taste for beautiful things. And the neighborhood is quiet and very well placed.
