B&B Terenzi Winery

Spent 4 nights here and the room was very comfortable and clean. Only comment would be to improve the wifi in the room as it would cut out for me intermittently but worked perfectly downstairs in the building. Breakfast was served in the wine tasting room which was a 100 meter walk from the room. Breakfast was excellent and I looked forward to it every morning along with talking to the helpful staff. However, there is no dining restaurant on the property which means you need to drive to find lunch or dinner. The roads in this area are in poor quality and windy which increases the travel time for any sightseeing or eating ventures. If I had to do it again I probably would not have stayed 4 nights in this region.

Spontan an der Straße gesehen und auch direkt angehalten. Leckerer Wein und nettes Personal und super Beratung. Gleich mal ein paar Flaschen mitgenommen. Update: After Two years I made it back to this awesome place. Still one of my favorite places in Italy and also one of the best wines I have ever tasted. Me and my friends bought a couple bottles. The best thing is that they have now a online shop which allows us to drink our favorite wines over the whole year.

Fun experience, the woman who helped us was kind and friendly. The owner was present and he was not so friendly. Fantastic wine, quick tasting, came for the purpose of buying wine. The whole experience is probably fantastic. Beautiful place.

We stayed there for 3 days in May and after almost 3 weeks in agriturismos around Italy, I'd have to give this one two thumbs up! They upgraded us to the "suite" -- actually separate house on the property and it was FIRST CLASS all the way! Highly recommend. Comfortable bed, terry cloth robe like the Ritz and also bedroom slippers, elegant bathroom with BIG shower -- construction and attention to details was superb! If you like agriturismos you are going to LOVE this one -- superior in every way. The restaurant was like dining at the Ritz Carlton -- the waitress and our food presentations were both elegant and far beyond what we ever expected. This was fine dining. Ate there two of our three nights -- price was a little high (35 euro/person) but then again this was very upscale dining in a gorgeous setting (brand new restaurant on property). Pool area is as beautiful as it looks in the photo -- the overflow system gives the sound of being beside a running stream. I had some problem with allergies while in Italy this year because of things blooming and one of the managers gave me one of her over the counter hay fever pills to try and it worked -- she was just lovely as was Prisco the onsite manager. I would have to rate this place as the BEST of our most recent 3 weeks in Italy. Great location and reasonably close to some great day trips.

The place is charming. The winery is beautifully situated, it has this unique ambience of the tuscan villas. The pool is great. The breakfast was very simple, standard. The place has enormous potential - it just requires a little better customer service.||||We arrived a little late (around 7 o'clock). We wanted to taste a bottle of the local wine but it was impossible. We didn't want the host to open the tasting room but to sell us one or two bottles and let us taste them in the room. We asked for that and we got the answer "not today". In my opinion - a little of the good will would not be a problem. The cantine was also closed. The host gave us good directions and we could eat and cherish good wine in the nearby villa.

We are a young couple and stayed at Locanda Terenzi for three nights in early September. It was wonderful, and we did not want to leave! Superb room with enormous double bed, little private garden and luxurious bathroom. Small touches like slippers and dressing gowns were great. Breakfast was fantastic, included fresh fruit, cereal, cakes, croissants, home-made jams, hams and cheeses and more. Evening food and ambience was wonderful, some of the best food we had in Italy. The pool was very attractive with a fantastic view over the Tuscan countryside. The gentleman in charge of the Locanda didn't speak much English, but the man that served us at breakfast was extremely friendly and helpful with suggestions of where to go and what to do with our day, and recommending us some wine to take home. ||Great for some peace and quiet and a touch of luxury. We are looking forward to going back soon!

My husband and I had a lovely, relaxing stay at Locanda terenzi. It is off the beaten track, so it's peaceful and quiet, which is what we were looking for right before heading to the craziness of Rome. The room was comfortable in the middle of summer, no problem with the A/C. And maybe because our room was right above the wireless router, we had no issue with wifi in the room. The bathroom was gorgeous too - really nice shower! We had dinner at the hotel 2 of the nights while we stayed here, and we had a lovely time. For the money, you can't do much better! We had their wine at dinner, which was delicious as well. The grounds are beautiful - the pool is gorgeous. We ended each day with a dip in the pool! We had such a lovely time at this beautiful paradise! ||||And go to the hot springs nearby if you have the chance! So fun!

Many places were closed because it was Monday or siesta time. They werr open, we walked in, got a short presentation, tried few wines and could also buy. Beautiful place!
