I would like to share with you my experience at Bandit. I believe it’s one of the most remarkable and meaningful experiences of my life, one that somehow helped me discover a passion and, implicitly, develop some skills that have supported me throughout my life up to this point.
In 2021, I drank a truly good coffee for the first time — specifically, a V60 at this location. It was my very first encounter with specialty coffee and with this entirely new concept for me. That was the moment I truly fell in love with coffee and realized that it is a real art. I was simply fascinated — from the type of coffee itself, to how you grind it, how you brew it, and how you steam the milk. At the end of that year, I made a list of 22 things I wanted to do in 2022, and one of them was to learn how to make coffee properly.
A year went by, and I had forgotten about the list. But then I reached a point where I needed to find a job, and I asked myself: “What are my passions, and what new things do I want to learn?”
That’s how I ended up getting my first job in HORECA, and I’m still working as a barista to this day.
Today, I came to have a double espresso, and with the very first sip I was reminded of the moment I first discovered you, Bandit. And I want to thank you for the wonderful experience you gave me — and so much more.
