Banff Park Lodge Resort Hotel & Conference Centre

Had a wonderful stay in a newly renovated room at the Banff Park Lodge Hotel! The bed was so comfy, the room was stylish and comfortable, the view was amazing and the room was clean and had a great little fridge and microwave. We appreciated the natural decor and the shower had lots of hot water! The duvet had some weight to it which we appreciated as we left the sliding door open for the fresh mountain air and it was lovely and chilly in the early morning. The air conditioning kept us comfortable in the warmer afternoon. Everything was spotless which was important to us. We appreciated the tv for a quick catch up with news in the morning. It was a wonderful escape to the mountains to connect with family and we will be back!!

Amazing location! Within walking distance of all of Banff. The hotel itself is a smartly-renovated (in progress) lodge/motel. Did not use any of the amenities but the pool and restaurant looked great. Service was friendly and responsive. The rooms are comfortable, roomy and quiet. The only reason this is not a 5-star review is because of the sub-par quality of the pillows and bed linens (as others have noted).

This hotel was our home away from home on our Caravan Tours Canadian Rockies visit. We weee here for 4 nights and it was amazing! Clean. Quiet. Comfortable! It was one block from downtown Banff Town and one block from the Bow River! The perfect location! The staff was the best! From the concierge to the front desk to the people that kept my room spotless! It was so nice to be able to open the sliding glass door and walk out in front of the hotel! We had the opportunity to eat with them on several occasions! All buffet style. Both breakfast and dinner! Each meal was excellent with tons of choices! This hotel was the highlight of my first trip to the Canadian Rockies! Given the opportunity, this is where I’m gonna stay!!

Lovely place. Great staff. Easy check in. Room large and very clean. Bathroom rather small but very clean and functional. Nice amenities in the room. |Only problem was that we had the furthest room away from the lifts and one person had difficulty walking the distance - our fault as we didn’t mention this at check or in our booking

This hotel is off the main drag and out of the chaos. Very clean, recently renovated and very helpful staff. It is close to Bear Street Promenade. The hotel does not have breakfast service but is only a short walk to a bakery or several restaurants. The Italian in-house restaurant is excellent and IBON, our waiter,||deserves a shout out for his exceptional service.||Many restaurants close by including BISON, which should not be missed.||Bluebird, across the street is excellent for breakfast, lunch or dinner. There is a small grocer just down the street for snacks and picnic lunch items. Short walk to train station to join multiple tour groups. Free shuttle to gondola stops right outside front entrance. Really felt the location couldn't be better.

Hotel has a great location. You can easily walk into Banff for food and shopping. Underground parking is convenient. Room rennovations are nice with some caveats. Fridges are weak and no outlets in kitchen area. No free coffee in lobby. Only one restaurant was open due to construction.

Excellent central location , lovely staff, comfy beds and nice spacious rooms. We had a room at the back which had less in twrms of views but was blissfully quiet. Towels changed daily and four bath towels a bonus. Bathroom needed a bit of care in terms of finish, but everything was spotlessly clean. Reception staff and concierge were especially helpful and courteous. Would highly recommend and would 💯 revisit if we returned

What a disappointment. We stayed here three years ago and it was a model of good management. Now the food is bad, the pool is cold and I get daily cheerful texts asking about my visit. When I reply, it directs me to an obscure reconfiguration of my texting. The remodeled rooms are drab and funereal. The hotel is clean and well located. The beds are comfortable.
