Banff Park Lodge Resort Hotel & Conference Centre

I was staying here for a conference / ski clinic for 5 nights and the room was perfect. I had a king bed room that fit everything I needed, was very up to date and well kept with an insane view. For the conference the staff put up signs and made it super easy to find where to go. Speaking of service, while I was skiing each day I would come back to a neatly made bed, new face clothes and towels making it really nice to relax after a day of training. The pool was also in great shape and was an amazing amenity to rest and recharge. In terms of location it’s great, super close to parks and trails as well as down town. But the highlight for me was the bus stop going to Lake Louise and Sunshine Ski Resort each morning and how easy it was to get to the mountains. Really made my day easy. Totally recommend to anyone coming out looking for a nice place to stay while skiing, for me it did the job perfectly.

Banff Park Lodge is a great hotel in Banff. We stay there twice every winter when we go to Banff to ski. We appreciate the underground parking and being able to rinse off our car every evening (after travelling up the mountain it gets very dirty). The pool is great. We have allergies and the restaurant was very accommodating. The location is fantastic... only a block to Banff Avenue with all the stores and restaurants. Also, easy access taking the 'back way' in to town (taking Mt Norquay Road off Hwy 1) means you don't have to drive all the way through town. Highly recommend it.

My wife and I stayed here July 25. This a wonderful hotel for people who want a nice room in a great location. The rooms are comfortable and amenities are very nice for the price. I personally thought it was a great balance because we were rarely in the room itself. The staff was very helpful with recommendations assistance despite it being extremely busy. I would be happy to come back again simply because of the ease and convenience!

Rooms were great. Pool was great. It was quiet during the night. Super close to main street. If you are trying to get room service make sure you order early, I tried to order at 10:15am but I wasn’t able to because they closed at 11:00am which was strange to me. Most of the reception were awesome but we had to do a cash deposit and the receptionist said we could go on a 5 minute walk to find the ATM, which we did and all was fine, a night later we noticed there was an ATM in the hotel just beside the reception desk. My partner told the receptionist very kindly that for the future guests there is a ATM in the hotel, the receptionist just giggled at us and said cool. Additionally the thermostat did not work properly, causing our room to be extremely hot. I did call the front desk about it but it did not help.

This hotel will always have a special place in my heart! We recently stayed here in October and our experience was nothing short from magical. The hotel at this time is going through some renovations so some places like the grill are closed but it definitely did not have any effect on the service. Representatives here are extremely professional, efficiency and kind. Every encounter we had was smooth. From check in to check out, to eating breakfast at La Terazza, everything was great, including the food. While we did not try out the heated pool, we definitely enjoyed the jacuzzi in our room. The rooms have been beautifully remodeled and they feel luxurious. Hotel has a perfect location in downtown Banff, walking distance to a lot of places and the heated parking garage made the difference during the snowed in days. We got engaged at lake Louise and when we came back to the room, to our surprise we found a bottle a wine and a beautifully handwritten note—something I’ll be keeping for the rest of my days. Will definitely be coming back and I can’t wait until then!

The Banff park lodge is a perfect choice for your family, couples, or solo mountain getaway. Get ready to be welcomed by extremely warm and attentive staff and enjoy every possible amenity at your feet (e.g., concierge, ski/board storage, parking, restaurants, 2 hot tubs, pool, weight rack, steam room, laundry, etc). You will be taken care of with care and a smile while enjoying clean a clean room each day. You will not be disappointed by the location either- being right across from the bus shuttle (ski/board) makes for easy morning access to the mountains + you are two blocks from Banff ave for an evening stroll through town (dinner/shopping). I have stayed here for several years and would recommend to anyone looking for a complete mountain chalet experience.

The renovations in this hotel were fabulous! Such an amazing upgrade to the past. I was a little disappointed that the bar area an lounge were closed due to the hotel still being under renovations it made later check in a bit of a drag as there were no food choices open. Other than that you cannot beat the location of this hotel and the convenience and price! I would highly recommend BPL and properties!

Great location with the town malls just across and other attractions are walking distance. The room was spacious with two King beds and a balcony. The only thing was that the carpet has a stain and the coffee took so long to make (more than 20 minutes). The staff were helpful. The pool and steam room were not hot enough for me to beat the snowy weather outside. Parking is available at the basement for a fee. Park early because when we arrived around 2am it was full (that was on a Thanksgiving weekend). Small gym with free shuttle to the Gondola.
