Bang Bang Byron Bay

We had such a great time at Bang Bang in Byron Bay! The atmosphere is super fun and energetic, with amazing vibes all around. The staff were so lovely and the service was on point the whole night. The food was SO delicious! Everything is designed to be shared. We were honestly surprised at how generous the portions were—everything just kept coming! We’re big eaters and even we couldn’t finish it all. Had to take a doggie bag home, which says a lot. Really great value for money, especially considering how tasty everything was. The wine list is solid, but the cocktails are where it’s at—so many fun and creative options. If you’re visiting Byron and looking for a great place to eat, I’d definitely recommend checking this place out. Such a good time! Note: We dined here December 2024

Absolutely amazing food. We had the sashimi for starter and was blown away. The beef brisket was so tender and fell apart gracefully as soon as the fork touched. The curry had a very aromatic flavour. Highly recommend!

Bang Bang Byron Bay brings a mouth watering punch of flavors. My wife and I had the dinner for 2 (small option) and it was almost too much for us. We are 5'1" and 5'6" so keep that in mind. Every plate was just right and outstanding. The king fish sashimi has a nice fresh flavor and reminded me of ceviche. The Korean Popcorn chicken was crunchy and flavorful. The sticky pork belly was soft and sweet. The smashed sesame cucumber was fresh and crispy. The braised beef massaman with Jasmine was remarkable with the chocolate smooth flavor and white rice to add a nice blend. This restaurant is a five star must for any local and any visitor. If you must wait in line please do have a drink elsewhere while you wait, it is worth the wait. 5 star quality service.

This place rocks! My girlfriend and I did the bang-quet set menu for 69pp and it was an excellent curated meal. Great cocktails, too! I’d recommended the Yuzu Dragon and the Miyagi Marg. 10/10

11/05/2025 Had a great meal here. Ordered the bug buns to start which were super tasty. For mains we had the beef rib, bbq barramundi and the mixed vegetables. All food was delicious but the beef came out first for the mains and it took a while for the fish to come which was disappointing.

Friendly staff, menu offered a wide selection of Asian dishes. I had the red curry with duck and coconut rice. Very pleased with my choice, and I will be making the coconut rice at home from now on. A bit on the pricy side for the portion size, which is the only reason I can’t give 5 stars.

Our server was attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable, offering excellent recommendations and ensuring we had a fantastic dining experience. Bang Bang isn't just a meal; it's an experience. It's the perfect spot for a special night out or a memorable dinner with friends. The quality of the food, the vibrant atmosphere, and the exceptional service all contribute to a truly five-star experience. We can't wait to go back!

Korean chicken Prawn toast Beef rip All the menu so yummy and enjoy Asian fusion dishes were beautiful but all the dishes sweet and strong sauce. (Might be I’m blend taste). We seated bar table and Japanese chef was so kind that we really enjoy the dining. Anyway recommend visit here!
