Bangkok Saran Poshtel

Bangkok Saran Poshtel is great value for money. I usually avoid places with shared bathrooms, but here it was clean, well-maintained, and never an issue. The single room was comfortable and private, and the staff were fantastic — friendly, helpful, and always welcoming. The only drawback is that it’s a bit far from the subway, but it’s in a quiet, charming neighborhood that makes up for the distance. Stayed here two times, recent stay was for 11 days waiting for my work visa to process!

Very nice hotel, the staff is helpful and welcoming. The breakfast is very good especially the vegetable spring rolls. There is a lift, the room was super clean, well equipped and luminous. There is no subway around but it not far from the different places by taxi.

The rooms are clean and big but have a big disadvantage: there is just a very tiny window for the whole room which is even behind jalousie which can’t be pulled up - means that you can’t get any fresh air in the room. We had wet clothes from the beach with us and that made the air in the room very wet for the whole time, nothing got dry in three days and the air was very bad inside as we could not ventilate, the air conditioning didn’t help - this was unfortunately a big issue which made our stay uncomfortable - sorry but this should be solved better. Also we missed a fridge in the room. Beside that, it was quote noisy in the hotel, early morning or late night kids running in the hall, laughing and chatting loudly.. Positive was that the staff was very kind and helpful, and there was unlimited free water. For the breakfast there was not that much to choose, but was ok. The location is ok, safe and near to Khao san road, but when you want to travel by the skytrain its far away.

The best place where to stay in Bangkok. I was in a single room with shared bathroom. Both room and bathroom were very clean. I like the location as well and I live Samsen! Staff super kind and nice. See you in two weeks!

very unfriendly service. I went to ask if there were any rooms available or if they could store my large bag for a few hours for a fee. This did not suit them. I asked if I could sit in the lobby while I called a taxi so that I would not have to call and wait on the street with my large bags. It did not work because I was not a customer and I was thrown out. inhumane service.

Stayed here for 3 nights. Amazing and friendly staff. Great breakfast with many options. Quiet neighborhood close to Khao San Road and water taxi. Would definitely stay here again.

Very comfortable stay in Bangkok, room was a little small but it didn't bother us as we were only there to sleep and relax in between Bangkok exploration. Great location, quiet but central with the palace in walking distance. Breakfast exceeded expectations and was a fantastic way to start off each morning. Free unlimited refrigerated water was very useful and easy, especially in the night time.

Comfortable, spacious and well maintained. A very good place for those looking to budget travel in Bangkok. Not far from any of the local sights/attractions - Khaosan Road is only 15mins away and the temples aren’t much further. Breakfast was also really good, and the free unlimited water was an amazing bonus. Such a great place to start a travelling trip.
