OVERRATED to me. maybe I order the wrong good food. Got myself Bo Ne, the supposed sizzling pan of various thing, so I have got one egg, one sausage, some charxiu (roasted pork) and a slice of pate, on heavy gravy. two small I toasted bun, and a bowl of pickled cucumber. Paid 75k VND (2025). The highlight is actually the cucumber, crunchy and fresh. I wish the bun is lighter toasted or at least, warm. But it is cold and rock hard. I wish the sizzling pan food is sizzling, but only the gravy is hot, the rest seems to be assembled like a Subway menu. I did not enjoy my food. It is always like that, they got so famous, that we had expectation. But my expectation is based on the price I pay, and I didn’t think it is worth it. Perhaps I should order the banhmi, at least it is toasted and warm? Maybe next time. (Sorry no next time (mic drop)) I was glad I didn’t have to queue like many other tourist though. Now I claimed that, if the shop is more than 75% tourist, then it must be hyped, over hyped.

The most popular place for banh mi in Hanoi. The queue can be long, and the waiting time to get the food can be even longer. However, the banh mi wasn’t disappointing at all. The pork and sausage tasted really good. The bread was a bit more on the crunchy side than it should have been. The dining area is neat and clean. It’s not chaotic or noisy even with so many people. You might need to share a table during peak hours.

Good banh mi - flavourful meat and crispy baguette. Avocado shake was very bland though. There is a queue due to popularity. You order at one counter, are given a ticket money, then cross street to the sitting area to eat/drink. The staff will bring you the order. Staff are very friendly.

Visited this spot twice during my stay in Hanoi, and really enjoyed it both times. I really like the many food and drink options available - divided into different meat types. Their drinks were also very delicious!

We went there on a Sunday afternoon before we left for the airport. They were jam packed, but the order taking was very smooth as there was a lady taking people’s orders even before you got seated. We were on a time crunch, so we opted for a takeaway meal. We ordered the honey chicken with cheese banh mi as well as the recommended pork belly bahn mi. Both were amazing. The baguette was honestly the best part of the sandwich. We also ordered the salted cream coffee and mango smoothie, which were both refreshing and well-made.

Definitely one of the better Banh Mi I’ve had in Vietnam. The seasoning of the meat was good on the chicken and the pork and sausage. The spice was a good level and vegetables were very fresh. The pate and butter were both very tasty as well. Quick service even though there was a few people waiting. The servers were very nice and had good English so made it easy to order. Prices are still very reasonable. Definitely lives up to the hype.

Tried the grilled pork banh mi without pate as the fried pork belly sold out. The highlight for me was that coffee with fresh milk. It's that taste that I have been looking for throughout this trip! I then ordered the salt cream coffee and requested no sugar but actually I should have said no condensed milk as it was sweet for my liking. The salt cream itself was tad sweet so that was a bummer for me. Didn't finish it too as I had too much sweet coffees around Vietn. 😂 The staff is very attentive and the young guy that was in charge to take order speaks good English. Had to come for the 2nd time and tried the combo set of grilled pork+sausage+sunny side up without pate. Love it for my breakfast. The coconut coffee is great too!

I love this place really much! Firstly, order it from the counter, they will hand you a number and just directly across the street, there is a nice little place for you to have a seat and have your meal! Don’t forget to order a nice viet coffee to go with it! I’ve ordered my share of banh mi from Hanoi, making sure I order one whenever I see a store and I want to say that this excels on all components, the right amount of sauce with well marinated meat. Sure, it is a little more upmarket than the usual banh mi stands, but if I had limited amount of meals in a short day in Hanoi, I would opt for this one! The French bun is also the right amount of crispiness on the outside and soft/fluffy, I would definitely return here whenever I’m in Hanoi!
