Hanoi, Time and Again

"Popular sandwich stall; order banh mi at a sidewalk cart and enjoy it at an open-air café with an avocado smoothie or fresh passion-fruit juice."

YUM! Went here twice!! Crispy Pork Banh Mi was easy to eat with its bread. Beef Banh Mi Chao was perfection especially when you are looking for a savory taste. It’s paired with their cucumber (with salt) side dish. Avocado smoothie was thick-thick. They have a separate place for take out, just in front is the dine in.

It is not a big shop but I can assure you the atmosphere is clean and the staff are friendly and the food is absolutely delicious. Wanted to try this famous dish in Vietnam and it did not cease to be amazing. And this place sells the best Banh mi. They also sell delicious milkshakes. Do check them out if you ever go to Hanoi.

Arguably the most touristy Banh mi place in Hanoi (seems like the UN here, except actually United, over sandwiches) Shout out to the staff who were patient, calm and efficient—especially needed given the huge number of hungry tourists. Also, very clean with clean bathrooms, another must for hungry tourists. The banh mi is a solid 25/10 points. Wonderfully crispy on the outside, and incredibly savoury and refreshing on the inside. There’s a reason why it’s the GOAT (among hungry non-Vietnamese tourists) Surprisingly (or not), the salted iced hot chocolate was also a hit!

Banh Mi 25 is one of the most popular spots in Hanoi for a reason—it’s always buzzing with people eager to get their hands on a freshly made banh mi. The queue might look long, but it moves fast and is absolutely worth the short wait. The rolls are warm, soft on the inside with a slight crunch, and so many filling options are impressively diverse, from traditional pork to vegan-friendly choices. We choose ours with a refreshing smoothie which was a great for a hot day. The atmosphere is casual, with lots of seating on the footpath and friendly staff. Recommend if you’re in Hanoi worth the visit to try.

Really popular banh mi spot in the Hanoi night market, would highly suggest you try visiting! Be warned, it can get very busy and space is tight, but overall people cycle thru quickly Crazy that we got 9 meals, with drinks for about ~$40USD

That was really good and worth the hype We walked by yesterday and saw the crowds, and decided to try it for dinner tonight and we are so glad we did. Most of us got the pork belly and it was incredible! We also got a chicken one that was also really good. We loved it so much that we tried to order another one but they had already closed the kitchen. If we weren’t leaving in the morning, we’d come back!

Great spot for tourists. Super busy here, but they have like 3 or 4 locations on the same block. That is pretty impressive by any means. Great shop, good Banh mi with lots of modern twists to their Banh mi to fit tourists taste like cheese steak. Is it the best in town... Far from it. But it's a good spot if you're a tourist and first timers.

The place is busy, but it has a fun vibe and gives off that local street-food feel. Don’t expect any special service here. We tried a few of the sandwiches and they were all good, but one of the Banh Mi Chao was honestly pretty bad. You’ll probably need more than one sandwich to feel satisfied. Prices are reasonable overall
