Bánh Mì Bảy Hổ

💛 After trying different banh mi, this one has become my favorite! 🥖 The bread is crunchy and the fillings are just right. A fresh mix of coriander, cucumber, chili and a variety of meats. The meat is cut to the right size, making every bite easy and enjoyable. Definitely a must-try when you’re in Saigon

Bánh Mì was really good! I found this place through Saigon Dining’s review, but I kept hesitating between Bảy Hổ and Bảy Quang. Since I happened to have work nearby today, I stopped by Bảy Hổ to buy some bánh to take home. When I passed by, the owner told me that if I’m heading to the airport, I should buy it then because it tastes better fresh, so I asked for his phone number. Before my flight, I called him to prepare the bánh and arranged delivery to my location. Both the owner and his wife were very helpful. The bánh traveled by air, and after two hours of flying plus transport time, it still arrived delicious. I really like the topping they use.

The Netflix connection had me dubious, but my banh mi xiu mai went straight into my top five (out of around 1000 eaten over the years). There was no queue, it was only 24kVND, and it was truly delicious. I asked for spicy and got zero heat, but that's my only complaint. The bread was good, the pate fantastic, and the meatballs soft and generous. Highly recommended.

I like the size of bánh mì here. It’s about good bite for one person. Not too big. Balance of the meat, vegetable, and bread is good. Another difference was that they put spring onion 🧅 instead of the daikon pickle. Overall taste is good and not too salty or meaty. Price is also reasonable at 24k.

Super delicious and clean!The baguette was crispy but yet incredibly soft! The staffs were friendly and nice specially the lady who serves drinks. I Definitely go there again.the prices are unbelievable cheap. There is a beautiful temple nearby which you shouldn’t miss it!

This long-standing bakery has been around for 3 generations. They were even featured on Netflix's Street Food: Asia (I actually discovered them through that episode myself), so it is no wonder they are popular with tourists. Their banh mi are delicious and affordable, only VND 20.000 each. Perfectly portioned, packed with flavour but not overwhelming. The service is incredibly fast too, you can be in and out in under 2 minutes.

Ordered thru delivery, bread was nice and crunchy, not too hard. Fillings was nice and flavorful. Would recommend!
