Bánh Mì Très Bon Richmond

I always get their Pho house special because of the bone marrow, it’s creamy and delicious, never disappoints each time we come visit. The soup is flavourful, the beef are sliced thinly so they cook fast with the hot soup, and they actually give more than just 2 halves of a beef ball, that’s rare in pho places these days. The spring rolls were delicious as well but not recommended if you have a mushroom or fungus allergy as it’s in there but doesn’t say. I don’t recommended the lemongrass chicken as it’s beyond salty and just doesn’t taste that great, plus it’s always dry. The chicken salad roll was also not that good imo, haven’t tried the shrimp one as that is my favourite, will try next visit. Overall their pho is delicious and I recommends trying their bone marrow house special pho.

I came here for a weekend brunch. Banh mi tres bon has a lovely parisenne interior and from the looks of the food, we were very excited to order. We lucked out with their corner seating that had the couch. We got the beef pho with bone marrow. Besides being incredible photogenic, this dish is so comforting with incredible flavors. This is a must have here. Next came the little egg crepe tarts in the hot iron skillet. Again, incredible for photos, but I must stress this. You have to order this dish! But be careful, it is extremely hot. The fish sauce and chillies that come with it add another layer of flavors. Finally, the Vietnamese beef stew, choice of bread or rice. I wished this dish was bigger LOL, cause it was delicious as well. Fantastic place! Definitely recommend anyone to try it! We really had a wonderful experience here. Our Lady server had incredible service experience. We loved their theme. Above all, the quality of food here is real good. The prices are just a slight high but the quality speaks for it. This is a great place for high tea as well. I would come back as a regular returning customer.

Cute spot! Some great vegetarian options. Had the vegetable pho and the mushrooms in it were so good. Also tried the canele dessert which was ok. Will definitely be coming back.

First time here with my wife and food was amazing. Service is amazing. The decor, music, and ambience makes me frel like im in Hoi An, Vietnam. The individual crepe balls in the stone pot was so so good. The papaya salad is the best ive eaten (they make their own jerky! 😋). The little banh mi was packed with meat and tasty. Very thoughtful of them to have a diaper changing station in their washroom. The detail they put into this establishment is 👌. Definitely bringing my teenage girls here next time.

I used to love this place so much and would go out of my way to come here over other Vietnamese restaurants in the city but was super disappointed during my last visit. My friends and I ordered the house special pho that comes with the bone marrow as that was always my favourite here, but the soup was so bland. I know what it used to taste like because I’d come with my family frequently and it was so delicious and homemade tasting, but all three of our bowls were seriously bland this time. The portion of meat also seemed much smaller than my previous visit a couple of months ago. The overall ambience was just not there anymore as half of the restaurant lights were not even on and it was very dim inside. I noticed it wasn’t very busy on a Saturday night, whereas I used to remember waiting for a table here. Super unfortunate and I really hope they fix things because I really loved their bone marrow pho. For the premium price they charge, I really hope that this was a one off and that I get to enjoy their food again :(

The atmosphere is unexpectedly elaborate and fun/fancy at the same time! We love this place so much. The staff is always so kind and very attentive. The food though, that's the show stopper. We've had close to 75% of the menu items and none of those have been a disappointment. This is 5 star worthy also because they have the most unique and delicious cocktails in all of BC that I've found so far. They dont skimp on the alcohol either. Very well balanced and flavorful. A wonderful place for a quick lunch, or having fancy teas with a coworker, or splitting the many shareable dishes their large menu has to offer. My favorite is how you can get a pho flight of 3 different types to try! Great idea that I wish more restaurants would do. Especially for newcomers to this style of food, it gives them an option to sample what they like. The bathrooms smell amazing, like lemongrass, and very clean with cute decor. To-go orders are always super fast too and packaged up very well. Go eat here!

Overall dinning experience is great. Food was served at good temperature and was tasty as it presented. Dishes were presented with a great of attention to details. Waitresses were attentive. When waitress tells you the BÁNH KHỌT—SAVOURY MINI CREPES is hot, you will need to listen as the cast iron skillet retains heat for a long time like 20+ minutes.

This used to be great until now it's not. We ordered a Palmetto salad and the kitchen forgot the Palmetto, which they later gave us a cup of Palmetto. We were 1 of 2 tables in the whole restaurant during lunch service. When it's time to pay, the bill for DINE IN had a $16 delivery + $8 Catering charge on it! Never coming back again.

This is by the Walmart on Alderbridge Way. The entrance is on the outside. The place is bright and clean. The prices are a bit higher than other Vietnamese restaurants. Banh mi is around $14-16. Vermicelli and rice dishes are around $24-26. The food is good and service was great.

Absolutely amazing place for Vietnamese food. Their presentation, portion sizes and quality of food never cease to amaze me. I always come back for their lemongrass chicken. It is just absolutely delicious and their spring rolls are to die for. The decor is really pretty inside too!

I have been here for 2 times, both times i got the same thing, the banh mi trios, it consists of their signature banh mis but in a much smaller size, if you want to try everything or hard to make decisions, give this a try. It is very very flavorful, i dont have a favourite since i can't pick. Only thing that made me a little hesitant to go back again is 1. it was extremely slow, it took almost 40 mins for my banh mi to get to the table, other things i understand, but banh mi? more than 10 mins wait is a sin, it wasn't even busy. 2. it is a little bit overpriced isn't it? i mean it is good, but the price? if i pay this much money, maybe the service/speed/portion should be improved? place is cozy and cute.

Come here for lunch with a friend, oh man what a disappointment. I love bun bo hue so I see they have that on the menu and give it a try but major major major disappointment. HOW? can a real BUN BO HUE don't have pig feet?? HOW?? That's the major ingredient. Also portion is really small they have only few slices of beef and some shrimp ball? And they charge $25 for a bowl. Major disappointment. If you looking for traditional Vietnamese food this is not your place. I'm only giving 1 star because I can't give 0 star

Incredible over the top service, the food was very authentic and flavorful, the restaurant interior was very charming and the Friday lunch vibe was awesome. The owner/manager was so friendly and went above and beyond to make our lunch perfect. Highly recommend.

(3.5 stars) My parents were visiting and were craving Vietnamese food so we decided to give this place a try. We walked-in on a Sunday afternoon and was seated right away. The first thing I noticed were the quaint aesthetics. I was liking the vibe and colours. We ordered a few dishes to try including the mini shrimp spring rolls, tiger prawn & pork salad rolls, mini crepes, house special banh mi, and of course, Pho (Tai Bo Vien). Out of everything, the banh mi was my favourite. The bread they used is what stood out to me. The pho had a generous serving with lots of meat and even came with bone marrow. I also liked the presentation. However, the broth was little bland. The rest of the food was okay, it was a little light on the flavour. Overall, visually appealing both the restaurant and food. Decent value and friendly staff, I wouldn't mind going back. It looked like there was a cafe on the other side of the restaurant. I wouldn't mind trying their pastries and dessert next time.

It's such a cute small place. Away from the Chaos in Richmond, BC. Food is pretty good if you have an American taste. Beef stew with bánh mì was a little salty and lacks all the Vietnamese veggies such as rau gam. Bánh khít was good. Perfect size. Nước mắm was light. Their coffee with Irish cream flavor was pretty good. Service is awesome! Attentive and always fill up your water if needed.

Very disappointed cause we were expecting so much more because of reviews, but food was very mediocre and the broth was just mid and very overpriced, The service was good so we gave it 2 stars, but even the viet coffee wasn't very good compared to even your average pho place. We love Pho68 for value & quality (1/2 the price and tastier). I would skip this and we won't be back.

Making bánh mì is a time consuming process, and I'm glad it's no longer as cheap as it once was. The effort and craftsmanship that go into it deserve fair compensation, which is why you don't see many bánh mì shops in Canada or the U.S. anymore. I'm grateful that some people still have the passion to keep this tradition alive, so it doesn't disappear and leave us with fast food that isn't as healthy.

The best dish I had was the papaya salad, it had chunks of pomelo and a well balanced fish sauce to pair. 10/10 The pho on the other hand was a bit bland, it needed more salt and more seasoning. However, I could tell the food was fresh and well prepared. The seating is limited and I was by myself so the server asked if I wanted to share the giant family table that had a family of 4 seated on one half. I was hungry so I said yes but another single person was seated with me as well which made things a little awkward. However, I did agree to the seating situation so I cannot complain too much. 3 stars because the best dish was the appetizer. I would try other things again but maybe get it for take out.

Spring rolls were not good. Too much noodles and super bland, where was the herbs?? Also got the bay mi trio sampler/flight and that was super fun. Though two of the sammies were drowning in siracha. It's pricey for what it is.s

Banh Mi Tres Bon is tres bon indeed! Oui, oui! I am in love with their savory mini crepes (CAD $11). They came out sizzling and were so crispy on the outside and chewy on the inside. Make sure you let them cool for awhile. I burnt my mouth on the first because I was so excited to dig in. A MUST GET! 5/5 The banh mi trio (CAD $15.75) is perfect for those who can't decide! My favorite was the pork belly. That bread...OMG! So crunchy on the outside, yet light and airy on the inside. Our server, Arjun, told us we could even just order the bread by itself next time (secret menu)! The bun bo hue (CAD $21) was presented so nicely with the little guy in the boat holding the herbs. Loved the broth and the noodles in this one, but I'd try something new on my next visit. 3.5/5 They also offer unique alcoholic drinks to boot. We had our eye on the flight, but settled on the da lat. Tart, salty and refreshing! 5/5 The ambiance is really cute here and they do a good job with presentation too. Five stars for service! We walked in at 8:30pm on a Saturday and were seated almost immediately. Arjun and all the staff were so nice and accommodating and checked in on us regularly. We're off to a great start in Canada!

Came by for a quick bite and tried out a bank mi sandwich. It was pretty decent with a good amount of filling. Saw that they had pho with bone marrow in it which I found enticing so will come back another time to try it out!

Never been robbed at a Vietnamese restaurant before but I don't recommend ordering a coffee. This is what I was served. Like 6 sips and ...gone. That's $7 a cup btw.

Lovely ambiance as you enter into the restaurant the first time. The music was good and the customer service was great. The straight dark French coffee was a delight. Banh khot was crispy and flavorful. The trio 3 mini buns was cute and crispy, we enjoyed it. And lastly, the Bun Rieu was on point, it hit the spot. It had small peanuts which gave it a really nice kick and flavor, and the real crab meat was a surprise, very good dish if you like bun Rieu

Made a special trip to Richmond to try out this cute restaurant after hearing good reviews. Overall, I rate this good but I didn't think the food was more outstanding than other Vietnamese restaurants and this place is a little pricier too. We ordered: - LEMONGRASS CHICKEN VERMICELLI BOWL $22 - 3/5 stars. Pretty standard compared to other Vietnamese restaurants. - BÚN BÒ HUẾ--SPICY BEEF NOODLES $24 - 2/5 stars. The soup base was bland. I can taste the salt but not a flavorful broth. Service was very good. Rating: 1 - Poor, 2 - OK, 3 - Good, 4 - Very Good, 5 - Excellent

Excellent place. It had the exact flavours we sought. Bun was just crispy enough without ripping your upper pallet. Service was fast and friendly.

We came here for lunch on a weekday. The place is clean, comfy and very welcoming. Staff service was excellent. Ordered the trio sampler and their House Special Bánh Mì. The sandwich was very good, especially the bread. Will come here again.

Oh my gosh. One of the most decadent pho places. The bone marrow pho is super good and rich. The broth is insanely flavourful and has umami flavour. It's one of the more adventurous pho spots and the bone marrow pho is to die for

This was my first meal in Vancouver after traveling for 3 weeks and my friend and I were quite underwhelmed. Maybe we just ordered the wrong things. We came for an early dinner around 5 pm straight from the airport and it was pretty empty. We started with the veggie spring rolls ($11), and I had the bun rieu ($21) for my main. He had the pho ga ($17). I found everything to be very... peppery. There's a strong pepper taste in the spring rolls, in the bun rieu broth, in the meatballs in the bun rieu. As someone who doesn't like black pepper, this was a turnoff. I don't think the portions justify the price either. Otherwise, the tomato based broth was very flavorful, and I could definitely taste the crab as well. My friend found the chicken pho to be a bit bland, but I think this is more personal preference than anything else.

I like this place so I may be biased but it has win a few awards so I suppose I am not alone in liking the food here. My wife had the new beef soup that has been added to the menu and she liked it. I chose the lemon grass chicken and there was no shrinkflation here. I have a big appetite and this filled me up. My daughter had a strawberry shake and that was enormous so it justified the $12 price. Generally speaking the prices have gone up a lot in restaurants but Banh Mi Tres Bon is still delivering high quality food with generous sized portions for great value. We made a reservation because there is often a line up, but not too busy this time. The Canucks are in the playoffs and were playing game three, so that might explain it. We asked if they could put the game on three TV and they did.

One-line review: There's potential here, but why are so many things chewy? We heard about this place from Yelp and decided to eat in the dining room before vaccine passports are eliminated on April 8. We thought the inside of the restaurant was cute -- someone definitely put some time into decorating it -- and it had a pleasant vibe. We ordered: - Banh mi trio (one of the stars of the evening, these were like banh mi sliders) - Shrimp and pork tapioca dumplings (the tapioca wrapper was surprisingly thick and chewy; not enough meat) - Green papaya salad (with dry beef, which made it... chewy) - Mini crepes (these were nothing like banh xeo [the bigger Vietnamese crepe and they were... you guessed it, chewy) - Canelé (less flan-like, almost like a bread pudding) - Chocolate hazelnut double bake (tasty; would have been better warmer) In general, everything was beautifully presented. But it was unexpectedly chewy. I didn't mind it once, but after a while, it got tiresome after a while. I can own that we probably just ordered too many of the wrong things; the banh mi were quite good, after all. But next time, I'd order something different. We parked in the lot for free. Service was pleasant, patient, and helpful. Bottom line: We'd give this another chance. It was promising.

Super cute and well-decorated restaurant that definitely gives more cafe-vibes. My party of 4 visited on a Sunday morning before the lunch rush came in. Nonetheless, service was still slow and we were barely check on throughout the meal. I ordered the bun bo hue, while my friends got the beef pho, bun rieu, and banh mi. The bowls were decently sized, but you're also paying close to $20, which is on the higher end for pho. The vegetables come on a super cute boat tray, and they don't give you too much. This didn't bother me, since it probably minimizes food waste overall. As for the flavor, I did not think that the bun bo hue was spicy, or that the broth had a deep, rich flavor. It was average; not amazing, but not bad!

The minute you walk inside, you're transformed into a very decorative place. Some decor just doesn't make any sense, but it does look pretty! I love the balloon lanterns on the ceilings and the wall of menu. The staff seemed very new and they were on the slow side, but hey! Every one has their learning curves and opportunities for growth. The food I'd say was mediocre. I wouldn't pay that much for a bowl of pho, let alone the banh mi was a little too crispy for my liking. The flavors were nice and of course like every elite here, the bone marrow in the broth was a nice touch to being fancy! I'd recommend going once.... For decor :)

I tried the mini sandwiches but they're TOO salty for me. I had their regular size sandwich before and it was ok, so I don't recommend mini sandwiches for those who prefer light taste. I told the server and she brought the boss (I think) over and told me that it shouldn't be salty ‍ maybe it's my problem.

"Very good bread" or Bánh Mì Très Bon gets a lot of love for it's quaint decor and quality dishes. I've been long overdue to try this spot out and I left quite satisfied. First off, you're gonna want reservations on the weekends. Their popularity is larger than their capacity. Once seated, we used the QR code to bring up the menu and each decided on our lunch. Bánh Mì Jambon - House Special - Good, but for the price I was hoping for something spectacular. Tiger Prawn & Pork Salad Roll - Nice size and tasty. Phở Tái Bò Viên - The addition of bone marrow to the pho was a nice treat. Lemongrass Chicken on Rice And Egg - It looked really good. Good enough that my wife and daughter didn't even let me sniff it. Overall, I think everything looked or tasted good. The prices are higher than your hole in the wall pho spot, but sometimes it's nice to sit at a clean table when eating pho. :)

This pretty restaurant that looks more like a cafe than your average Vietnamese restaurant. Reservations are recommended as they can get quite busy at meal times. The food itself is nothing spectacular. The Lemongrass Chicken on Rice with Eggs was just average and the Salad rolls were nothing special. For the price of their dishes, I had expected something a little "more".

Great Vietnamese restaurant that was recommended by my Vietnamese friends. It was my first time having bun rieu, and it was definitely a satisfying food experience. They also sell cute character macarons. Food This was my first time having bun rieu and it was a great experience here! The soup had a good tomato and seafood taste. I would definitely get it again here and want to come back and try their pho as well. The beef and pork tapioca starch dumplings were also very good. The tapioca starch casing was a little bit on the chewy side and made the dumpling interesting to eat. Atmosphere The interior design is nice and cute. The food came out on cute trays as well. A casual atmosphere to enjoy a warm bowl of soup or have a Bánh mi sandwich. Pricing A little bit more than your average pho place as the soups ranged about 15-20 CAD. Overall the quality is good and worth the price. Service  Staff was extremely friendly and the food came out very fast. They always asked if we needed anything and were helpful in splitting the bill among multiple people. Other The parking lot is shared with a variety of other stores and so I utilized those.

This is my favorite Vietnamese restaurant in Vancouver! I love the Banh Mi sampler, the bun Bo hue and the pho and my favorite is the rice roll! Unfortunately the rice roll is a seasonal thing. I was told that the chef who makes this rice roll left and that made me super sad Still would come here because service is awesome and so is the ambiance but please bring back the rice roll!!!! Also great desserts for kids :)

This is a trendy place that I tried with a friend. Great for a rainy afternoon. The decor is fun to look around. Beef noodle soup is fusion so while it does have a big bone marrow in there, the taste is less strong than other Vietnamese noodles I've had. Park spring rolls are surprisingly good. Macaroons have cute presentation. It gets busy quickly so I'd suggest you come early. They do take your vaccination status seriously so in addition to the proof, they also take down your phone number. Takes credit card

We traveled to Richmond and searched for the closest Vietnamese restaurant. We loved the nice vintage decoration here and the staffs but not the food, sorry. We ordered a Bun Bo Hue, papaya salad, mini crepes, and the mini shrimp spring rolls. The Bun Bo Hue was not flavorful, tasted like "bun rieu" broth. Mini crepes was sticky in your mouth. The other dishes were so so. Overall, we still love the restaurant atmosphere and friendly staffs. We just wish their food could be more improved.

We found this place based on the Yelp review when we were in the neighborhood. Some street parking spots and garage nearby so you didn't have to worry. The atmosphere was causal and welcoming and the deco reminded us of the French bistro. The staff were friendly, attentive and courteous. You can scan the bar code for the menu on the table. There was a picture of each item on the menu and the drinks. We ordered a house special banh mi, mini crepes and one cocktail, Da lat. The bahn mi came out quickly and we received the cocktail after we finished. The presentation of mini crepes was impressive and I liked to hear the sizzling sound when we poured the sauce on the hot pan. Overall, great food and service and we were happy to stop by for a quick bite. We will return and try other delicious looking menu items.

I can't get enough of Bahn Mi Tres Bon's shrimp and pork tapioca dumplings - they're simply divine, bursting with flavor and satisfaction!

Great food! I had the banh Mi Trio. My favorite was the chicken but all three were great. The restaurant is also very nicely decorated and it's family owned and the family is extremely friendly.

We asked for an explanation when another table already got theirs even though they came in after us We got an explanation that the bone marrow had to be heated up (?). It's not only the wait but also the lack of communication until we asked that was disappointing. The restaurant owner did come out and apologize, so I hope this is a learning experience for the service. Also, the Pho broth was salty and almost a tad too rich. The bone barrow while looked impressive ish (?) in the photo, added little to protein and taste. It's also not the long bone marrow you normally expect but just the bones used for making the broth. There was soooo little beans sprouts and one basil, and if you're used to authentic Pho you'd miss the culantro. Also, no one brought out any sauces, which is weird cuz there were a bunch by the kitchen. No one checked on us either. My mom's vegetarian sandwich (banh mi) was average at best. The tofu was just barely fried, and there wasn't a lot of flavor. The price is high for portion (even when converting to USD), but I guess that's in line with the decor..? Anyways, not a place I would come back.

The food here are very nice, room are well decorated with lots flowers and plants. The service was nice, she made a little mistake with the order but fix it up in a good manner, I recommend this fine place

This review is strictly for the banh mi ordered to-go. My partner and I were in Canada for a little trip and no matter where we go, we always seem to crave banh mi and make it a point to try local renditions wherever we travel. Living near Little Saigon in San Jose (largest Vietnamese population in the US) you can say it's part of our staple diet. We ordered at the restaurant and waited while they prepped our sandwiches. The interior was very cute with quaint "romantic/Paris" themed decor. We saw mama chef (Vietnamese lady wearing a chef hat) in the back working on some dishes, but it was a younger gentleman who made our banh mi and brought it to us. Definitely looked like a family run business. We ordered three types: the house special, egg, and lemongrass chicken. The sandwich was thin with modest amounts of meat & veggie filling but it felt nicely balanced because of the bread. Hands down, the bread is what made the banh mi memorable! It was crisp, but not overly so where the bread breaks apart into crumbs and leaves a mess after one bite. My partner aptly put it-- it felt like eating a banh mi panini. We tried one on the road, and can say the other two held up and still tasted good the next day. Of the three, my favorite was the egg banh mi. Definitely worth the stop.

Both times was a great experience! Their vegetarian banh mi sandwich comes with mushrooms, eggplant, and tofu - normally I'm not a huge eggplant fan but I was super impressed with this sandwich! The flavours were delicious and the baguette was warm and fresh. My only one small piece of advice was that I wish they chopped the cilantro that goes in the sandwich finer , or at least took the leaves off the stem because I had a few long stems of cilantro running down the sandwich which wasn't my favourite. As for service, they're great! The time that I sat down the server was prompt and courteous, and this time where I did a pickup they had my order ready to go at the time expected which made for a seamless takeout experience. Also, how cute if their packaging? They wrap their to-go orders in brown paper with a little string to tie it together, I'm a fan! Overall, I like this place a lot! I would definitely visit again if I was in the area and craving Vietnamese food.

Worst waitress! There was one waitress, for whatever we asked, like chopsticks or menu, she was, "oh" and then walked away, walking around in the restaurant and never brought anything we asked to us like we never asked. The foods were just very soso , no worthy the price at all. We were was going to order more, but we decided not to with the taste and the services. We ended up going to another Vietnamese restaurant (Thai son) in the same plaza across the road = =

Terrible food and massively over priced. The soup was tasteless and the banh mi was so dry it was like trying to swallow cardboard. I would not even give it one if I could.

This cute little place was tucked in on the side street of Walmart. I almost did missed it when I walked by. When I walked, there is actually so much space! First of all, hands down in all the health check protocols. They have hand sanitizer and contact tracing right by the entrance. Right before the customers are seated, a contactless temperature check is also performed for each customer. I was impressed when the level of precaution they take to protect their employees and customers. Take out is definitely recommended. Customers can come to pick up their own food simply by check their name on the package. The waitress and manager were all helping during lunch time as it was pretty busy. It was a cold day and I asked for a bowl of Pho with bone marrow to warm me up. Nothing beats a bowl of hot soup on a windy day. When the Pho arrived, I was very impressed how clear the broth was. It was refreshing and not greasy. Best of all, I don't taste the MSG as I usually do with other pho places. What a bonus! The bone marrow added the right amount of fat to the broth, and made it very tasty. Even the presentation added so much culture aspect. I regret not to visit this place sooner! Can't wait to go back to try their Vietnamese sandwiches, which I heard are also very good!

Bánh Mì Très Bon is a colourful, inviting & warm Vietnamese restaurant, located at - Central at Garden City (Richmond) outdoor shopping mall. BMTB open since 2018, just recently expanded the restaurant offering more seating. It was my first time here & our waiter was helpful & informative. We had the Lemongrass Chicken Vermicelli & a Bánh Mì - Lemongrass Chicken Sandwich. Vietnam was once a French colony - hence there being a strong French influence in Vietnamese food. French baguette bread (made daily in-house) is used in their sandwiches. Macaroons & other French pastries are sold here. The flavours (cucumber, carrots, cilantro, jalapeno & more) in our order had me ooohhing & ahhhhing as I made loud sounds after each & every bite!!! Yes quite embarrassing but the food was just that good!!! Fresh & scrumptious - I loved it all!!! Ok I'm telling you all - get here yesterday & delight your sense of taste!!!!! Oui très bon!

Bánh Mi Très Bon is a modern day rendition of a French colonial Vietnamese tea shop. Nice decor and a community table set the stage for this quaint little restaurant set inside the Walmart complex in Richmond. They offer a variety of teas, French style macarons, banh mis (Vietnamese subs), rolls and pho. They also have a fresh sheet with daily features to mix things up. The food is always fresh and made with care. The quality of the ingredients really stand out like in the grass-fed beef pho with bone marrow where the rich fatty beef flavour of the marrow and very tender and lean cuts of meat perfectly compliment each other. The owner recommended the beef banh mi with egg and wow was this delicious. I don't think you can't go wrong with any of their dishes. Overall - always a good experience and great food. It is fairly small so you may have to wait at times (but worth it) so I recommend coming at "off" peak ours to avoid disappointment. Update: they have now expanded and took over the business next door. Still nicely decorated with French colonial design cues. Just bigger!

Brought the family on a Monday evening at around 7pm. The restaurant was a little over half full. It wasn't busy. The food here is delicious, but the kitchen seems to be super inefficient. The food took longer than I can usually tolerate to come out and I don't like the fact that each of the 3 pho bowls came out one at a time with at least 10 minutes in between while my daughter had to wait for her chicken dish for another 15 minutes. It was over half an hour of waiting before the first noodle bowl came out. We weren't intending to spend that much time sitting in the restaurant. Again, the food is excellent, but they will need to think about how they get the food done more efficiently and preferably have it come out at the same time. Either someone at our table had to eat first (kind of rude in our family) or we all had to wait until the last dish came out and then everything would be cold. Also, since we ordered 3 of the same pho, why couldn't all 3 be done at once? Weird.
