Banjar Hot Spring

Banjar hot spring was really nice to take shower because warm nature water with 20% Sulfur, this warm water is believed as for relaxation, health therapy, and recreation, with benefits such as relieving muscle aches, addressing minor skin problems (due to the sulfur content), improving blood circulation, and calming the mind and soul amidst a beautiful tropical natural atmosphere. Visitors can soak in the natural hot spring pool with warm showers that function like a natural massage, as well as enjoy the supporting facilities and spiritual value of this place.

Nice to visit.....would not return. Had to pay entry fee then they requested a fee to use toilet block. Builds and surrouns not maintained very well. Could be cleaner. Not busy when we visited. Once you have had a dip there is not much to keep you there. The water is not very Hot. Dont know why it is Green in colour.

The hot springs were nice, but the water wasn’t really hot. You have to pay extra fees for the spa or jacuzzi, and even for lockers (10,000 IDR). Still, the place had changing rooms and showers, we enjoyed it overall, and next time we’ll just bring shampoo!

Nice water, it smells somewhat like swimming in an egg salad but you quickly get used to it. Three pools, I couldn't tell the difference between them in temperature, but one of them has water spouts which can do you a satisfactory massage if you get the angles right as they fall from a large height. I didn't use the restaurant or massage services so can't comment. Lockers cost 10k and toilets 3k, cash only. Cheap entrance ticket (45k for bule) so worth it on that basis. I spent about two hours there. Watch out for the entrance - there are about 20 gifts shops so it you want to shop go for it, but otherwise expect to be hassled. You might be able to get a grab moped but I couldn't get a grab car from this location, so book a driver in advance unless you want to be ripped off by the taxis outside.

Honestly better than expected. 45k entry 5k locker but not mandatory Few people, water felt like around 35 degrees. Was nice even on a sunny day. There are also restaurants and massage & spa. 3 pools are available with the ticket, 2 more are further and available for 15k, and they are more private. Maybe free bathrooms should be mandatory (3k)

Love this place. My go to place whenever I’m visiting up north. A little touristy, but the hot spring are worth the trip & great to sooth the body & relax.

After paying for entry I was told to ride up to motorcycle parking, where I was told I needed to make a donation for parking (that’s fine and expected in Bali) I didn’t like the harassment from the market holders to purchase things before entry to tie hot springs, I don’t mind if walking around Bali, but after paying to enter an attraction it was very unwelcoming. (They have everything you need for sale in the pools btw, I got stung 50,000 for a towel because i read they weren’t supplied) The hot springs themselves were a mixture of warmish/hot water in the top pool and lukewarm water in the larger pool. The pool itself felt quite dirty and underwhelming, I didn’t spend long here as I was turned off by how slimy the pool was. I went early and avoided the crowds, but after an hour it was quite busy so I had a drink and left.

A paradise on earth. This hot spring in the middle of the jungle is a paradise on earth. We had a great rest and my children loved it.
