Banjara Multi Cuisine Restaurant

We had a great dining experience at the Banjara. The food was very delicious. The ambience is very mellow and hygiene of the restaurant is well maintained. We were served by Mr. Chandra who was very professional. I will recommend this place happily for good dining experience, will visit again in future.

Located near New Market, this restaurant serves delicious fish tikka, chicken biryani and mutton biryani though you can also try peas pulao,malai mutton,dum gosht handi mutton or masala kulcha. The ambience is peaceful and nicely maintained — perfect for a relaxed lunch or dinner with friends, family, or even colleagues.

Great place to visit for a premium quality food, family and couples would like the ambience of the place. A decent Dinner would cost around 1k for 2 people on an average order of 2. Service was good and food was heart warming 👍 Rating i would give to Banjara 4.5/5

Banjara Restaurant offers a mixed bag of experiences—some truly delightful, others frustrating. Let’s start with the major downside. Despite showing availability on Swiggy Dineout, the restaurant did not accept it, something they only informed us after we were seated and ordered. This caused unnecessary inconvenience and disappointment, especially for those expecting to use their Dineout discounts. That said, the food did manage to uplift our mood to a certain extent. The Tandoori Chicken (full) was the standout star—perfectly charred, juicy, and packed with flavor. The naan was soft, fluffy, and ideal for scooping up gravies, although the tandoori roti was just average and could have been better. Portions were generous, making it good value for money in terms of quantity. However, the mutton dish we tried fell short. The meat pieces were tough and not of good quality, which was a letdown, especially considering the pricing. A little more attention to meat cuts and preparation would go a long way. The ambiance, on the other hand, was lovely. Soft lighting and a calm, soothing environment made the dining experience pleasant. The large TV screen playing the IPL match was the cherry on top—it added a lively, relaxed vibe without being disruptive. In summary, Banjara Restaurant has great potential with its ambiance and certain dishes, but the lack of transparency with Dineout and inconsistency in food quality prevents it from being a go-to spot. Worth a visit, but with managed expectations.

Need to improve seating arrangements more & washroom n hand-wash area to more spacious & taste of mutton biryani is very tasty 👍👍

Decent place to dine. Food is good but more suited for non-indian pallete. You need to specifically ask chef for pure indian spiciness else you will get a flat spicelevel even for indian dishes. Dishes are priced as per market, not very expensive might as well be called very cheap for people spending is dollars or euros. Parking is not available. Waiters are well behaved though they at times argue among themselves. Payment options are limited to card and upi, you cannot use other food aggregators like eazydiner to make payments and avail offers. Not everything on the menu is available, so you will need active waiter assistance before you make up your mind onto ordering something.

Great food open till late night in the dharmatala area. Good food options specially the fish kebab was good , the chicken kebab on the other hand was quite average. The prawn Tempura left much more to be desired. Overall I would love to try out their other things but the chicken dynamite and the phirni were my favorite.
