Banje Beach

Banje Beach – Iconic view, super convenient, and lovely in October. Literally a 2-minute walk down the stairs from our Airbnb (no car needed!), Banje is the classic Dubrovnik postcard beach: white pebbles, crystal-clear turquoise water, and that unbeatable front-row view of the Old Town walls and Lokrum island. If you’re staying near Ploče Gate or anywhere in the Old Town area, this is hands-down the most convenient and beautiful beach to pop down to.

Small pebble beach just outside of the old fort. Crystal clear water. Great location with excellent views if you want to spend time on the beach.

We were here, as always, in December, then my review can´t be relevant :-( The place itself was small, nice, clean, empty. I cannot imagine being, sunbathing or bathing in summer.

Small rocky beach with some areas of small pebbles that are easier to sit or lay on. The beach is free with a restaurant close by for drinks that you can enjoy on the beach. Great beach and beautiful views.

Banje Beach is a must-visit if you’re in Dubrovnik! It’s just a 10-minute walk from the Old City, super convenient. The views are stunning, and the water is crystal clear—perfect for a relaxing swim. One tip: definitely bring beach slippers, as the beach is quite pebbly and can be a bit tough on bare feet. I had such a great time here—relaxing, swimming, and soaking up the sun. Highly recommend!

Banje Beach and Bar is a must-visit in Dubrovnik! Located right on the water, it offers fantastic seating areas for lounging and tables for delicious meals. Seriously, grab some ice cream and fruit – highly recommend! Yes, it can get a bit crowded with tourists during high season, but that's totally expected. Despite the crowds, the stunning location and offerings make it absolutely worth the visit.

Gorgeous! Clear waters, sand and rocks, and rentable beach beds. You can view the old town walls while swimming here. Free WiFi on the beach and drink service to beach beds. Family friendly beach with all ages. Bathrooms in the bar/restaurant are accessible to beach-goers even if you don’t buy a drink or food.
