Bank Hotel

My husband and I spent 5 nights at the Bank Hotel and were extremely impressed! I can’t imagine anything that the delightful team working there could have done better to enhance our experience. Service was truly flawless from start to finish, as well as very warm and personalized. Our room was spacious, elegant and supremely comfortable with all the amenities you need and more. We couldn’t eat or drink all of the thoughtful complimentary treats that they kept delivering, and I was so grateful for the gorgeous fresh flowers. It was quiet and we slept well. Terrific shower, excellent laundry service. The restaurant is beautiful with a good choice at the breakfast buffet as well as cooked to order dishes. The location is ideal. We walked nearly everywhere, but when we needed to go further, we were steps from the metro station at Kungstradgarden, and a short walk to the one at Ostermalmstorg. It’s not inexpensive, but is a great value for the quality. I’ve visited Stockholm a few times and this is my favorite hotel by far. We wouldn’t even consider staying anywhere else in the future.

Don't usually write reviews but we returned home yesterday after six perfect nights at Bank Hotel and wanted to compliment them. Every aspect of our stay was marvelous. Location couldn't be better for walking around the major sights in Stockholm. Two blocks to harbor. Room was comfortable and clean. Breakfast was full of tasty options in a gorgeous setting. Every employee was friendly, gracious and eager to enhance our stay. Not inexpensive but fantastic value

Our stay was truly memorable, best service experience we've had even compared to other high end hotels known for great customer service. Your staff are genuine about customer service and making sure guests have an amazing experience. That level of service culture is set by leadership, so I applaud you for that achievement. I have already recommended your hotel to fellow, friend travelers.||Specifically, we would like to provide feedback about David and Israa at the front desk, Deina and Dede at Bonnies restaurant and Shun at the Papillon bar. It would be a long email if I detailed our experience with each of those individuals, but I hope it suffices to say that we could share examples of how each of them made our stay feel extra special. All of those mentioned are superstars in our view.||Although this was our first experience at the Bank Hotel, we hope it is not our last.

Old European meets modern touches. We loved this hotel. Quiet elegance. Very comfortable beds. Good room temperature controls. Excellent breakfast. Pleasant helpful staff. Very clean. Great location. Would definitely go back (to hotel and Stockholm).

This hotel is kind of hard to rate. During our stay, the prices in all Stockholm hotels were sky high, meaning also the cheapest room in this hotel cost 480€. The room came with no windows, and about 16m2. The bed was comfortable, shower was large and bedding was ok. ||The breakfast was also ok, not super luxurious, but difinitely better than Scandic etc. ||The service was also ok, we got what needed, but nothing more. No doorman, no carrying bags to room, no concierge, no valet parking. ||If the room had cost 300€ it would be a good value, but 480€ was too high for the hotel and room. On the other hand, it is much more expensive than the hotel usually is.||There is no parkign at the hotel either (atleast we were told so) and the closedt oarking garage is 400m away.||I would probably try another hotel next time, perhaps Villa Dagmar.

The bank hotel still believes in high quality service which is so nice in today's world where so many hotels are cutting back on services. Here the room service was twice a day, the staff were friendly and professional, and the place was immaculate. I credit the hotel manager, Bemnet, for this, as he was extremely responsive with feedback.||The hotel is very close (walkable) to just about every major attraction/museum which was the main reason we originally picked it. We will stay there again now that we know how great the service is.||A special thank you to Olivia at the front desk for exceeding our expectations. I asked where I could purchase a flower crown for my wife on Midsommers Eve! Olivia soon knocked on our door with a crown for my wife which was so nice and unexpected.||The breakfast is amazing. We enjoyed the barista cappacinos, the fresh-squeezed orange juice, and the made to order options like eggs benedict! I also recomment the sea bass if you have dinner at the restaurant.||The rooms, bedding, and bathrooms are as nice as you would expect at a luxury hotel.||TL;DR The Bank Hotel is an excellent choice for a Stockholm stay. The service is over the top. The hotel is a great value for what you get.

A 4.5 is probably more fair but erred on the side of a 5 rating as just about all things were very good for the standard. |Well located and easy walking to city, old town and the docks. |Our room was a good size and space for two suitcases to be opened and still move around. |Good size bathroom, amenities and the bed was comfortable. |The room was in the main very peaceful UNLESS you wanted a window open. Then the adjacent level 8 roof top bar noise could be heard. And with a closed window the air con was quite loud compared to other locations we have stayed. |Restaurant was good for breakfast, however did note appeared to be a staging location for people commencing cruises, so could become “loud” with couples meeting up. |Staff were helpful with all requests.

The Bank Hotel is a combination of the perfect location in the Norrmalm and impeccable service, quality accommodations and superb dining. This is the place where you want to stay if you seek a welcoming staff and the highest quality food, lodging and attention to detail.

The Bank Hotel is a small beautifully appointed hotel in downtown Stockholm. It's in a great location with easy walking access to old Stockholm on Gramla Stan and also to downtown shopping, restaurants and many parks. The rooms are large with big bathrooms. The best part of the hotel though is the service - everyone is friendly and helpful. I'll point out Cecelia and Abdel as particularly helpful with restaurant recommendations and hotel services. There is a great restaurant, Bonnie's, that serves wonderful breakfasts and dinners. Get the special dessert, the Smashed Piggy Bank, which is appropriate for a hotel that is in a former bank building.

Bank Hotel is my favorite hotel in Stockholm. From the service to the restaurants and the rooms, you can't go wrong with this hotel. The hotel was so kind during my birthday. Though I didn't even tell them it was my birthday, they went out of their way to set up a special breakfast spot for me, put a fruit platter and goodies in my room as well as a special hand written note, and have the restaurant I selected for dinner give me and my friends champagne. Linnea is the manager and I absolutely love and adore her; she is one of the most professional and polished people I have ever had the fortune of meeting. If you want to stay at a trendy yet refined and elegant hotel that meets all of your needs while in Stockholm, stay at Bank. It is also situated very conveniently in Norrmalm next to Östermalm for all your high-end shopping and fine dining needs. There is a reason why Swedes choose Bank for their staycations :) And don't miss the breakfast downstairs!

I enjoyed my stay at Bank Hotel and it's very conveniently located in the city and near a metro station. It can get noisy since it's located near bars and restaurants so something to keep in mind if you're looking for a more quieter room.

Easily one of the best hotels I've ever stayed in. The decor and style is very nice. It's in a great location. Has an awesome restaurant and bar with DJ (at least on some nights) and the staff is absolutely amazing. Looking forward to my next trip to Stockholm to stay here again.

Great Hotel. If you want great decor, friendly staff and good food/ drinks in the best part of Stockholm, this is it. Do not expect Hilton-size rooms in Europe. You can tell from previous reviews that the OPs are not experienced European travelers. Also, you can't blame a hotel for the price of taxis in Stockholm.

This hotel is not 5 Stars! The staff is all friendly, that's the lone positive. Our room was small and loud - the noise from their roof top bar kept us up until 2am. Taxis and cars can't even service the hotel. If it was $100 or even $200 I'd give it 2-3 stars but we paid 5 star rates. Stay at the Grand Hotel!

Disappointed because this hotel was listed as a 5 star, which it is definitely not. Very small room that overlooks a wall, loud music from the rooftop bar and no closet. This is definitely not a 5 star or even close.
