Bank Hotel

On a quiet pedestrian street, right in the center of Stockholm, you'll find an unassuming building with the sign 'Bank Hotel.' Behind a large, heavy main door you'll find stairs leading you up to the front desk, the restaurant, and a bar. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and helpful. The entire property was clean and modern. Our room was quiet and offered all the amenities you would want. |In addition to the wonderful location (also very near a metro stop), there were two other things that made us love the Bank Hotel. The breakfast offered in the main restaurant each morning is fantastic. The selection offered is great and the service was exemplary. Secondly, the cocktail bar Papillon is a cozy, well decorated space with a wonderful menu. The drinks we had there were some of the best we'd ever had.|I would recommend the Bank Hotel to anyone visiting Stockholm.

Breakfast is wonderful and plentiful. We had drinks on the lovely bar and an excellent meal at their restaurant Bonnie. In October 2025, I ran an event for ~25 important clients at the Bank Hotel in the La Voute space. The facilities were wonderful - this is a very classy and elegant space, it felt special and had a "wow factor" for our clients! Having the separate bar area for food/drinks (which were delicious) and networking worked very well. The team, led by Hezel and Ida, was wonderful - always very quick to reply to emails and very accommodating in the lead up to the event. On the day, they felt like true partners, helping me to ensure that everything ran smoothly. We will be back for future events!

My wife and I had a wonderful 4 night stay. The staff was excellent and helpful - overall service quality was top notch. The food was delicious and we particularly enjoyed our breakfast meals. The facilities were in excellent condition and the location was central and convenient. Would highly recommend and certainly would stay again!

The Bank Hotel is first rate. The rooms are beautiful, the staff is 5 Star and the free breakfast is fabulous. We were a little skeptical about a free breakfast but it was fabulous with buffet and menu items. We will definitely be back. Finally a thank you to Ouissal Halif the Concierge. She was extremely helpful and professional.

The Bank Hotel is a small beautifully appointed hotel in downtown Stockholm. It's in a great location with easy walking access to old Stockholm on Gramla Stan and also to downtown shopping, restaurants and many parks. The rooms are large with big bathrooms. The best part of the hotel though is the service - everyone is friendly and helpful. I'll point out Cecelia and Abdel as particularly helpful with restaurant recommendations and hotel services. There is a great restaurant, Bonnie's, that serves wonderful breakfasts and dinners. Get the special dessert, the Smashed Piggy Bank, which is appropriate for a hotel that is in a former bank building.

Bank Hotel is my favorite hotel in Stockholm. From the service to the restaurants and the rooms, you can't go wrong with this hotel. The hotel was so kind during my birthday. Though I didn't even tell them it was my birthday, they went out of their way to set up a special breakfast spot for me, put a fruit platter and goodies in my room as well as a special hand written note, and have the restaurant I selected for dinner give me and my friends champagne. Linnea is the manager and I absolutely love and adore her; she is one of the most professional and polished people I have ever had the fortune of meeting. If you want to stay at a trendy yet refined and elegant hotel that meets all of your needs while in Stockholm, stay at Bank. It is also situated very conveniently in Norrmalm next to Östermalm for all your high-end shopping and fine dining needs. There is a reason why Swedes choose Bank for their staycations :) And don't miss the breakfast downstairs!

I enjoyed my stay at Bank Hotel and it's very conveniently located in the city and near a metro station. It can get noisy since it's located near bars and restaurants so something to keep in mind if you're looking for a more quieter room.

Easily one of the best hotels I've ever stayed in. The decor and style is very nice. It's in a great location. Has an awesome restaurant and bar with DJ (at least on some nights) and the staff is absolutely amazing. Looking forward to my next trip to Stockholm to stay here again.

Great Hotel. If you want great decor, friendly staff and good food/ drinks in the best part of Stockholm, this is it. Do not expect Hilton-size rooms in Europe. You can tell from previous reviews that the OPs are not experienced European travelers. Also, you can't blame a hotel for the price of taxis in Stockholm.

This hotel is not 5 Stars! The staff is all friendly, that's the lone positive. Our room was small and loud - the noise from their roof top bar kept us up until 2am. Taxis and cars can't even service the hotel. If it was $100 or even $200 I'd give it 2-3 stars but we paid 5 star rates. Stay at the Grand Hotel!

Disappointed because this hotel was listed as a 5 star, which it is definitely not. Very small room that overlooks a wall, loud music from the rooftop bar and no closet. This is definitely not a 5 star or even close.
