How I Travel: Jason Mraz Has a Wild Trick for Sleeping on Planes

"The Bank of New Hampshire Pavilion in Gilford, New Hampshire. They have bicycles, so you can leave the venue and ride to Lake Winnipesaukee, which is only maybe a quarter or half a mile away. Usually on tour, you're living in a parking lot, so when you get off the bus and suddenly are in a little forest, and there's a bicycle waiting for you to go to the lake, that's a perk. They have postcards on the table that are pre-stamped so you can send letters home to your family from Lake Winnipesaukee. And there's a little fire pit where they make s'mores for you after the show. They really bring the camp experience to life, because that's what people go to that region for—camping on the lake."

Great venue! We made the 3.5 drive to see Dave Matthews Band and it was well worth it. The absolute nicest staff of any venue I've ever been to. It's small so it feels more intimate. Only complaint is they need more light in the parking lots which are mainly fields. Also just a heads up, there's no wifi inside venue.

What a wonderful experience!!! Between Alton bay and the Willie show it left us speechless! We will definitely be back. So clean!!!! There are employees everywhere to help you get back to your show ASAP, with as many people that where there the bathrooms where spotless!!

One of the best concert venues around. Good concessions, wide variety, rows and seating are spacious so you don't feel crowded. Sightlines are good from anywhere. You do have to pay for parking ($20min) but you can tell they have lots of staff on hand to keep things running smoothly.

Phenomenal experience and such a cool venue! First time here to see the Goo Goo Dolls. Easy parking, friendly people, awesome vibe and seating. The bathroom attendant was literally incredible keeping things clean and getting what seemed like hundreds of people through the bathroom very quickly. Great intimate feel with awesome sound. Loved they also had tvs to see an up close view of the performance. The only thing that was a bit outrageous was that one beer was literally $20...which I guess is expected but it just sort of felt ridiculous to pay $40 for two beers + tip .

Terrific venue. It was like walking into a high end amusement park when you walked through the gates. Staff was courteous, friendly and helpful. Seating was excellent and I was in the cheap seats, section D. Seats were comfortable and you had ample space between the row in front of you.

It was a great concert- we saw Rod Stewart and Cheap Trick. We were in the 2nd section near the cameras. They had TV monitors screens, both sides. Sound quality was great, we overall had a very good time! Cheap Trick was really good, they are in their early 70’s. Rod Stewart is 80! He can still kick his leg up in the air and dance around. Very impressed. The only drawback to the event is getting out from parking. You will be there awhile. We will go again, had a lot of fun.

Absolutely awesome lil place!! Drinks and food are incredibly expensive and card only. Space was nice and the venue was great.

I over spent this year and booked concerts every weekend all most. Best venues and great easy out parking and campsites. It's a must in New Hampshire. Outdoor concerts are the best experience
