How I Travel: Jason Mraz Has a Wild Trick for Sleeping on Planes

"The Bank of New Hampshire Pavilion in Gilford, New Hampshire. They have bicycles, so you can leave the venue and ride to Lake Winnipesaukee, which is only maybe a quarter or half a mile away. Usually on tour, you're living in a parking lot, so when you get off the bus and suddenly are in a little forest, and there's a bicycle waiting for you to go to the lake, that's a perk. They have postcards on the table that are pre-stamped so you can send letters home to your family from Lake Winnipesaukee. And there's a little fire pit where they make s'mores for you after the show. They really bring the camp experience to life, because that's what people go to that region for—camping on the lake."

Great place for a outdoor concert been here many times for different types of music acoustics are great and view from the seating is good I can not say how it is from the lawn area as I have never had tickets for the lawn. Picture's are from Kane Brown on May 25th 2025

Enjoyed an excellent James Taylor concert. The facility exceeded my expectations in every way. Entrance was organized and efficient. I wasn’t sure what food choices would be available. I needn’t have worried. There were over a dozen types of food stands in the large football field sized area just before entry to the seating area, open hours before the concert began. Acoustics, large video screens and the light show elements were excellent. Exit from the venue was as easy as the entrance, somewhat due to the politeness of the concert goers who were probably especially mellow having heard sweet James’ tunes.

Very nice pavilion, great sound and sight lines, lots of food and beverages, parking was a bit nuts after the Goose show and water lines were long but otherwise I'll be back!

Super awesome venue! Absolutely love the areas to hangout around the venue! The burgers are good, the pizza is decent and there’s plenty of drinks to choose from! The staff is all friendly and helpful (unlike the last impression I got in 2022 😅). I had a great experience this time and hope I get to return soon! My ONLY complaint would be the lack of control of the leaving situation. Traffic getting out of there is ridiculous and the amount of people walking down the road the cars were traveling was scary especially after we witnessed someone getting hit by a car, it looked as though their leg got run over. There should be better crowd control or even a set walkway so the crowd leaving with be safe against the people behind the wheel that had seemingly too much to drink😅

So this is a mixed review. With the good being excellent and the bad being in the “are you kidding me?” category. First the good, the venue is Excellent. 3/4 covered to protect from the elements. The grounds are very well maintained and clean. Bathrooms are accessible and seem to have enough to accommodate the crowds. Seats are comfortable, if you sit. They don’t do much to curtail smoking or pot. But, Really great place to see a concert! Now the “are you kidding me?” Make sure you eat or tailgate before you go in. A small 10” pizza is $21 bucks. A burger and fries combo is also like $20 bucks. Very very expensive. We didn’t drink so I don’t know what they soak you for alcohol for. The second is parking. Plenty of parking but exiting is a may lay of uncontrolled chaos, free for all. Be prepared to just sit for 40 minutes before you start to move.

Parking was quick and easy. Leaving from the EZ exit lot was in fact not at all easy. Don't pay the extra money it wasn't worth it. Admission was fast and easy. Seats were. Good. Food and drinks wete also good and fast. Although from our area, the Bonnie Party Deck, the stage was somewhat obstructed the TV was fine and it sounded perfect.

Super friendly and professional staff, extremely courteous. A great venue for the best all ages crowd that I have ever experienced in 50 years of show going. This is a tribute to the Goose fans who were so well received, too. Terrific experience at Bank of NH Pavilion. No need for superfluous superlatives- just a great evening!

We had the pleasure of working with Bank NH Pavilion for a private Project Graduation event in which we rented out the entire pavilion area. We had a couple of issues with our original venue, so we sent an email to Bank NH Pavilion thinking it was a long shot to move our event there. Gillian responded immediately and it just continued so smoothly from that very first moment. Between she and Trista (the logistics coordinator), every single thing was orchestrated beautifully. They handled all of our vendor load - ins: band, food trucks, inflatables -- so that we didn't have to worry about anything. Once we got on site, their entire staff was friendly, fun and responsive to anything we needed. Every detail was handled for us. They even had a rain plan in place, if we needed it. (Thankfully we didn't because we had a gorgeous night!) I highly recommend Bank NH Pavilion for any size private event! The location, the space and most importantly, the team there was just perfect!
