Bannpantai Resort Cha Am

Spacious room and hotel has a small pool. The rooms are older now. Big breakfast buffet (but every day the same dish, same fruit, same sunny side up, same thai dish). Minus points on no gym, no functional TV. TV is very old and dusty. No small towels and towels are very old. Bathroom smells like gutter every morning. The restaurant service and the park service people were nice and attentive. The check-in counter was covered with 3 people but not everyone seems to be useful or helpful. They dont even know the area for other recommendations. The room service menu is half crossed out. 7/11 next door. Overall disappointed for this high price, it is not 4 stars worthy anymore.

Had a great 6 nights at this charming Thai style resort. Our room and patio were lovely and within a few metres of the swimming pool. My son and I spent many hours in the pool and had it to ourselves a lot of the time. The breakfast was filling but for a real Thai experience have breakfast over on the beach at one of the many Thai pop up morning restaurants. Cha Am is a wonderful community. It's very Thai. It's unlike, Hua Hin, Pattaya, Phuket and Samui in that most of the tourists, I would say probably 90%, are Thai. So Cha Am caters to them and foreign tourists can have a real Thai experience along the stretch of beach opposite the Baan Pantai Resort. Finally Baan Thai is very chilled. Your fridge is empty apart from a couple of bottles of water. There is a 7 -11 20 metres from the resort and it is easy to fill your fridge with whatever you need at 7-11 prices. The resort has no problem with this. A great place for a relaxing stay.

Wonderful experience at this resort. Was lucky to have stayed both the nights at two different rooms (superior & villa). Rooms were spacious with large balconies. Washrooms were super clean (the villa washroom was just like a room😀). Staffs were friendly. Food was quite tasty. Really loved the beautiful calm ambience. Pool was pretty big. Perfect place for photography. Overall pretty much satisfied with my stay🙏❤️ All photos & videos clicked by me📸😊

Great rsesot to stay at with a large pool. They have at least 3 room types; Villa, Deluxe and Superior. We stayed in Deluxe and Superior. The rooms are of generous size, comfortable and all have balcony/sitting area. The resort 2 mins walk to the beach. There are several restaurants, cafes and bars around to try, all of which are in walking distance. There are plenty of street food hawkers as well.

Lovely villa. Big King sized bed, sofa inside and outside, small fridge, large tv and huge shower. very quiet at night, the pool is delightful

Nice hotel with a tranquil feel, but aging and needs some attention in certain areas, especially the floor boards around the restaurant area and the decking around the pool. Location is good as directly opposite beach and has 7-Eleven next door. Breakfast was nice but limited options for vegetarian. Recommend for short stay. Pros Nice pool, kept very clean with plenty of deck chairs and umbrellas. Nice tree and garden setting surrounding the villa’s and rooms We stayed in a villa and it was spacious with easy access to pool Staff are very friendly and helpful Cons In the rooms there was no hair conditioner or facial tissues provided No place to hang wet towels or wet bathers No hand towels provided in bathroom Bath towels are aging and need updating Bad lighting in bathroom over vanity and in dressing room Ceiling and walls need painting No pool towels provided so needed to use bath towel which is too small to use on deck chairs No music or ambience around pool No in room information provided in regards to room service and telephone extension numbers and other facilities like laundry service, pool hours and breakfast hours etc Buffet breakfast not well signed so difficult to check for dietary requirements Orange juice not fresh, it was a powder mix No cappuccino or late options

Not much service, no hand towel provided! Not recommend this area as not much vegetarian food or fruit stalls around etc
