"The world’s longest bridge fountain is located on the long Banpo Bridge overpassing the Han River in Seoul, South Korea. The bridge is already a curious structure, as it’s designed on top of the previous Jamsu Bridge, forming the upper half of the first double-decker bridge in the country. On both sides of the less than a mile-long (1.5-kilometers) bridge are nearly 10,000 LED lights over 3,740 feet (1,140 meters) sections. Here, 38 water pumps and 380 nozzles per side shoot out over 190 tons of water per minute. This installation, called Moonlight Rainbow Fountain, was inaugurated in September 2009 and has been recognized by the Guinness World Record. The huge amount of water that comes out of the fountain falls down into the river underneath at a distance up to 141 feet (43 meters) horizontally and 66 feet (20 meters) vertically. The water ejected is continuously recycled by being pumped again into the fountain, making sure that the installation is eco-friendly. Also, the jets can move to the beat of the music." - ATLAS_OBSCURA

Unforgettable experience to see the world's largest bridge water and light show. Every half an hour from 7:30-9 PM, this 20-minute sound, light, and water show delivers a stunning sight with k-pop songs. (note that this runs in the warmer months only ~ I believe April through October). Crowds gather on the bank to watch it, but one can also walk under the bridge to enjoy another view. There is a whole separate walking lane and 2 bike lanes providing plenty of space to view the marvelous sight.

We arrived just on time when the light show start. Very crowded but was OK as the light show going on for a while, just need to wait patiently and slowly can move to the front after some people left. However, the light show are not very impressive, too plain in my opinion

The water show was nice, and I got to hear some BTS songs played. However It would be better to go with a partner, which seems more like a romantic place for it. It was also a bit crowded, so get there early to find a good spot for viewing the show. Also, bring your own ramyun as the downside of this experience is that the convenience store near the place does not sell ramyun anymore.

June 2024. What an utter disappointment. Not the easiest of places to reach and the show is probably a shadow of something once decent. If you're close anyway, take a look. But don't make a special trip.

Hanging out here is free. There is a water show every 30 mins or an hour i believe. And with every water show, they play kdrama osts or kpop songs so if u need to hang out with friends, this is a good option. The bus stop is nearby and there's a convenience store and food stalls as well

The music and water light show looks amazing. Just be aware in summer (mid June) the sun doesn't set till after 8, so if you want to see the colours clearly you'll have to wait till after.
