This place was featured alongside Han River in the BTS’ "Life in Seoul" video. This promotional video for Seoul shows off the river and the boys eating near it. There are more reasons to visit the Han River, too. Besides its popularity, BTS has shot many videos there. For instance, the “I NEED U” video has a shot of member J-Hope crossing Dongho Bridge. RM also references the river in his song “Seoul.”

아래는 요청하신 내용을 바탕으로 작성한 영어 구글 리뷰입니다: ⸻ A peaceful oasis right in the heart of the city! This park is full of life—early morning joggers, families spending quality time together, dog owners out for a walk, and groups of friends enjoying fried chicken and beer or even cooking instant noodles on the spot. On weekends, it gets quite lively with lots of visitors. Every 30 minutes, you can catch the beautiful Moonlight Rainbow Fountain show, which adds a magical touch to the evening. There are often concerts and various events happening too, making it a great place to relax and be entertained. Highly recommend for locals and tourists alike!

It was beautiful watching the sunset here, though it was quite crowded—possibly because I visited on a weekend. There was even a live band playing when I arrived, which added to the atmosphere. The highlight for me was the bridge light show; seeing the city lights and the bridge illuminated was such a nice experience. The water show starts earlier, but the full light show begins at 8 PM.

We had such a lovely evening here. Ramen picnic, walk along the river side, night shows, live music. This place is lively.

Walked from Gotomall underground shopping mall to the park. I enjoyed strolling around Banpo Hangang park in March. Weather is refreshing, cool and chilling, just right for relaxing walk. The park offered fantastic views of the river with crisp and clean air that made the experience even more enjoyable. Great spot to unwind and take in the beauty of the river.

It’s a nice spot for a leisurely walk—flat terrain and a gentle path make it ideal for a relaxed stroll. The area seems well kept, and there’s also a designated bike path, so it’s popular with cyclists too. Many Koreans and tourists come here to unwind, have picnics, and chat while enjoying views of the Han River. You won’t find any street vendors, but convenience store prices nearby are typically 500 to 1,000 won higher than in residential neighborhoods—perhaps due to the ambiance and the iconic image of Seoul. There’s a surprising sense of calm here. The Han River itself isn’t particularly striking—it looks like any ordinary river you might find elsewhere.

If you want to try the river + convenience store ramyeon vibe this is not the place! You should go to jamsil. The convenience stores are very far from Banpo Park. But you can still get delivery, bring snacks, and rent lots of picnic gear before you come! There was also a floating bar that we went to next to the river. And you can rent tubes and float and hang out on the river too!

Decided on Banpo Hangang Park as my son wanted to live a k-drame life: to eat his ramyeon by the Han River. Took the subway to Express Bus Terminal Stn, walked for about 10 mins to reach the park. We reached slightly after 7pm. There was a CU convenience store at the park, but it was super crowded inside. You gotta queue to even enter the store. It was so chaotic inside cos everyone was trying to get the ramyeon, drinks, and snacks. After payment, another chaotic situation appeared in front of us: ramyeon cooking stations. We were lucky that we met 2 youngsters who understand English to teach us how to use it. Eating ramyeon at the park is definitely an experience you shouldn't miss. We stayed around for the rainbow fountain show that you can overlook from the park at the Banpo Bridge, which is on every 30 mins. Great to do it once if you have yet to, but I won't do it for the 2nd time cos it's just to chaotic.

One of the best places for a picnic. From the Fountain Bridge to Saebit Floating Island and even Hangang Ramen, there are plenty of things you can do here. People of all ages can find something fun to do here You can have delivered food too
