We came for cocktails for a hen party. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Was able to set up a tab and a limit. Wide variety of drinks available. We had the 2 for 1 cocktails and the Friday fizz deals. Nice atmosphere. Highly recommend for a starting bar

The Food and the Service was very good, the young man that served our table was very polite and helpful. The main issue we have with Banyan is as soon as you pay the bill you are virtually escorted off the premises. Having paid a bill of almost £500 we were then told we had 5 minutes to get our stuff together and vacate. We explained that we had drinks to finish and then the manager and doorman came over asking us again to vacate the seats. Banyan, shame on you. Great service, but when the bills paid its time to leave. ADDITIONAL INFORMATION - Hi Thank you for your response, although the content isn't entirely correct. The doorman on duty informed us as we left "I'm not sure what all the fuss was about, no one else has even shown up for the table". I also recall being informed that we could have the table until the football finished. Football consists of 2, 45 minute halves and a 15 minute interval? No one informed us that you had 'World Cup Slots' that were limited to 4 hours. Great bar staff, appalling management.

A very tastefully decorated clean bar. Great staff and service. We were there watching England match and ordered some food which was well cooked, presented and tasted delicious. So well done to all in particular the area manager roped in to give a hand. The staff did everything to make it a lovely evening. Can't wait for them to open a bar in Bristol. Highly recommended.

Came for dinner with some friends at around 6:30pm. The place was very quiet with enough staff to serve the two tables that were eating. We ordered drinks and saw them sat on the (quiet) bar for 5minutes before anyone brought them, I heard ‘service’ was shouted and staff continued to stand and talk instead. We were then the only table left and waited over 35minutes for our mains which included a burger, pasta and a vegan dish. I’m unsure as to why this took so long? We then ordered more drinks which again, took a ridiculous amount of time to come. Looking at the comments on previous feedback you’re ‘working on the speed of service’ it seemed as if the staff just didn’t care and it would be interesting to know how this is being worked on. Optional service charge - I’ve never had an issue with this being on a bill as hospitality staff work hard and deal with all kinds of people daily. However, in this circumstance it was removed to not be shared with the team and tipped the waitress we had personally as she was very polite. Definitely a place to stick to on a Friday night for cocktails, cheap Prosecco and atmosphere, we will not be dining again any time soon.

We booked Banyan for a celebration and was not disappointed! The care before hand and whilst we were there was amazing. The manager couldn't do enough to help. We had the buffet and the food was excellent. Would highly recommend!

Good ISH hamburger but small. Staff unable to deny poor quality house fries and onion rings were not frozen catering pack items. Soft drinks far too expensive. For £20 thereabouts total wish I'd gone for a curry.
