I recently had the pleasure of staying at Banyan Farm Tourist Park, and it was an exceptional experience. Nestled on the serene banks of the Daly River, this park offers a perfect blend of relaxation and adventure. The private concrete boat ramp and mooring pontoons made accessing the river incredibly convenient, especially for fishing enthusiasts like myself. The opportunity to catch the iconic barramundi right from the park's doorstep is unparalleled. Accommodation options are diverse, catering to various preferences. I stayed in a self-contained cabin that was both comfortable and well-equipped. The large, shady, and grassy sites are perfect for those who prefer camping or caravanning. The Banyan Farm Bistro, open seasonally from April to August, served delightful meals six days a week. The chef's famous parmies and roast buffet were particular highlights. After a day on the river, unwinding by the large swimming pool was a treat. For nature lovers, the walking trails around the billabongs offer a chance to observe a variety of flora and fauna. The park's relaxed and friendly atmosphere, combined with amenities like clean facilities, a camp kitchen, and reliable phone service, made the stay even more enjoyable. A special mention to the hosts, Kerri and Wally, whose warm hospitality made the experience truly memorable. Their dedication to ensuring guests have a pleasant stay is evident in every aspect of the park. Whether you're an avid angler or simply seeking a peaceful retreat in nature, Banyan Farm Tourist Park is the place to be. I look forward to my next visit!

As a group of friends we enjoyed dinner at Banyan Farm where we had a lovely evening. On the menu there is chicken parmi, differents sorts of steaks, fish and chips and some specials. Everybody loved their meals. The servings are huge so you can take home a doggy bag if you like.||It is best to make a booking and this restaurant is BYO.

Great place, plenty of great sites with shade, a nice pool. Nice and clean amenities. And the family that run it are lovely, so friendly and helpful, and definitely make sure you are here on a roast night, the pork roast and vegies last night, omg best I've ever had. Would definitely return.

Kerri and Wally Draper are wonderful hosts. Their knowledge and love of the area is unquestionable. Excellent Bistro sitting outside under cover made the experience all the more special. For the traveller heading up North would highly recommend this place to stay with beautiful gardens inviting pool and good amenities. A must do experience!

Decided to head down to Banyan Farm for a weekend away with the family. It's a brilliant spot. Close to the water for those who like to fish, the grounds are nice, spacious, all the sites are shaded and spacious. The Sunday roast was amazing. Nice clean amenities.||||Our site was a bit dusty, but that's what you get in the dry season but the majority were grassed. All sites powered but bring a double tap adapter as out site only had a single water outlet, not an issue if your got your own water as it's not drinkable unless you filter it. There is fresh water available, so again, not an issue.||||Amazing pool area, even with some renovations going on. The owners are super nice and helpful, even with our late arrival.||||For those who haven't been, give yourself some time as the road from Adelaide River out to Daly River is narrow and windy.||||Will definitely be back.

The Banyam Farm is simply awesome. Wally, Kerry and Russel and the team really make you feel like part of the family. It is just like a camping home away from home. Superb facilities great camp spots weather for tent, caravan or motorhome. Heaps of shade, great pool, awesome bistro (in season)...Just makes me want to go back more and more....Oh, the fishing on the Daly is 2nd to none and the added reward of abundant wildlife juts adds to the experience.

Great place to stay, shady site near the amenities which were great, cleaned daily as was everything else. Had dinner in the bistro on Friday night, wow not disappointed huge meal and well priced. We backed up again on Saturday night for the roast, 2 meats, Lamb and Beef and about 10 vegetables to choose from and seconds. $30 per head great value. Would like to have a boat next time for the elusive Barra.
