The Asian-inspired design includes villas on stilts with pitched roofs, each with its own private pool and wood sundeck. Interiors are adorned with Talavera earthenware, black onyx lamps, and etched-tin mirror frames. Visit the cliff-perched restaurant Saffron for traditional Thai food overlooking the Pacific or Las Rocas Grill and Bar for fresh grilled seafood and meat."

The hotel reopened after 18 months of renovation because a hurricane destroyed everything. The property is looking great, albeit a few less trees but they have done a great job. The staff is first rate - a shout out to: Hugo, Luis, Jennifer and Jorge - they made our stay so enjoyable!

Most flavorable food in the city. Excellent service, incredible view. An absolute must visit and a staple for us when visiting. Guillermo the manager and Adan/Gustavo were awesome. The property at the resort is pristine. Ty the curry dish and the Leche martini.

Banyan Tree Acapulco was a definite amazing overall experience for both of us. We cannot wait to return for another extremely relaxing and enjoyable time. The Customer Service at every turn, exceeded our expectations! Whether it was a small request (or even a question), the entire staff went over and beyond to respond to our needs.|The food at each restaurant was absolutely delicious. Their signature restaurant, Saffron, served absolutely delicious Thai food. We also enjoyed their breakfast while we’re looking the Acapulco Bay as well as the very romantic dinners in their pool area. We also fell in love with the beauty of the entire facility which included our guest quarters, the pool area and the scenic views around the hotel. |We cannot wait to return on our next visit to Mexico. Banyan Tree Acapulco is definitely a beautiful and extremely relaxing and romantic. experience!

This is an elephant resort perched on the cliffs above the Pacific Ocean. The violas are extremely spacious and well appointed. There is no reason you would ever want to leave. But if Yu did the main pool area is also extremely pleasant with a spectacular sunset view. The restaurant is excellent. Staff is courteous and attentive without being overly familiar. Adan in the restaurant was the epitome of superb dining staff. The exercise facilities are first rate. This is not the place to stay if you want to swim in the ocean. They have no ocean access. But the views are spectacular. The hotel is currently under reconstruction because a devastating hurricane. But it is still a memorable and magical place.

Highly recommend Banyan Tree Cabo Marques. Definitely the nicest hotel in Acapulco (and would absolutely be in the running for the nicest hotel in pretty much any city)! Service is outstanding and friendly. The staff remembers your name and does everything they can to make your stay enjoyable. ||Given all of the damage caused by the two hurricanes (direct hits by a Cat 5 in 2023 and a Cat 3 in 2024), it is amazing how well the hotel has handled the recovery. They are still working on some of the villas, but the renovated villas are beautiful. We booked an ocean view pool villa and were upgraded to an oceanfront villa with panoramic views from the room and the private pool. ||Currently, only one of the restaurants is open (Reflections - serving a mixture of dishes from 3 of the resort’s planned restaurants), but a second restaurant (Saffron - Thai food) is almost compete and expected to open in 2-3 weeks. ||The hotel is very private and secure, located in an upscale, gated residential area a short distance outside of downtown Acapulco. It has a laidback, luxury vibe. ||If you are looking for a relaxing place to escape the winter weather, checkout Banyan Tree Cabo Marques!

Adán was our server and he was great! We had the opportunity to meet the chef 🧑‍🍳 and the restaurant manager and they really our expectations!!!! Exquisite food 💯 thailand 🇹🇭 cousin. Ocean view breath taking 💕🇲🇽 next time need to come here when the sunset 🌅. We got here just right after.

Over the hotel, great service, Adan was great! Loved the view, the rooms, and the food and was a peaceful and great experience. Ingo was huge help in getting us a good place to eat when we couldn’t find reservations! The staff was very attentive and helped all our needs.

What an incredible place. The service was exceptional. The views are stunning. The spa is amazing. And the food is quite good. We only left the property once for dinner at a local restaurant. There are excursions you can book but we chose to just relax and take in the idyllic location. Most of the staff speak some English but the resort definitely is more geared toward Mexican tourists. Knowing at least a little Spanish is advisable.

Thr Banyan Tree is one of the nicest resorts I've ever been to. If you're looking for a relaxing experience, private villas, and amazing views, this property won't disappoint. The Saffron restaurant is an excellent thai restaurant on property.

Wow! This place is absolutely magnificent in every way. The drive into this exclusive resort at night was simply beautiful. The atmosphere is wonderful. You pull up to the beautiful hotel and get driven by cart to the restaurant. Simply breath taking. Next time we go it will be either in the day or sunset so we can see the property better. Food was very good. I would give it a 4-4.5, however the great service, view and property make this such a top restaurant. You must go to experience.

Banyan tree hands down the best! They treat you like royalty! Anything you need or may want they will attended to you. This was our first time here and we are already planing our next trip here. There is nothing negative about this I have no bad remarks. People said there's a lot of mosquitos, close the door! They tell you. It was an amazing experience. You are close to the airport and at the same time to close to el centro Acapulco
