Banyan Tree Krabi

Banyan Tree Krabi is a pretty decent luxury beach resort, but with some room for improvement.||The pros: The location is top notched. The service they provide will make you feel like a VIP. The room has all the modern equipment, is more spacious than in the photos and features a large comfy bed. Shampoo and shower gel smell nice. An aroma burner is provided and you can ask for a refill at any time.||The cons: Most of it had to do with food and drinks.|| While the afternoon tea set for two is massive and attractively priced at just THB1500 net, the taste was just okay for most items and disappointing for the others. ||With the exception of afternoon tea , food and drinks here are the most expensive among all the fancy places that I have been to. Most dishes on the in-room dining menu, including simple Cesar salad, cost close to or more than THB700 and most cocktails cost close to or more than THB500. I didn't order any of them and therefore cannot tell how good they taste.||The breakfast buffet was clearly premium, with even sparkling wine among the offerings. Still, scrambled egg was less tasty than at other places. The same goes for French toast and pancake that were offered as dessert of the day. | |The mini bar fridge doesn't have milk for coffee. I didn't expect that and therefore didn't bring my own milk. You can ask to have milk delivered to you room for free, but it is not convenient and some guests do not enjoy calling the front desk asking for this and that.||Conclusion: I was impressed by the room and VIP treatment that the resort provided, but not so much with the afternoon tea and breakfast. I would have tried in-room dining too if prices were 10-15% lower.

I cannot express how sensational this resort is. The location, amenities and staff are above and beyond. As soon as we arrived we were greeted by James who was simply exceptional. His customer service was truly top tier. We forgot our phone charger and he offered to let us use HIS for the entirety of our stay. we missed a complimentary part of our stay because we had a later check in and he offered a free dinner service that night instead at no extra charge. the pool was closed during our stay so we were blessed with the opportunity to take a long tail boat right from the resort beach front over to hong island which was so peaceful and beautiful. During this excursion i saw a lot of people snorkeling and mentioned how cool it was to one of the staff members, Dee, who came with us. He showed up 20 minutes later with snorkels for both me and my friend. He also patched up her foot after scraping it on a rock in the ocean. The staff is friendly, kind, and the best part about this resort. They also set up our dinner reservations for us, take you to and from all resort locations by buggy. The breakfast buffet was also delicious and had specials that changed daily. This is by far the best resort I’ve been to and is well worth the price. Thank you for the stay!

From the moment we arrived, our stay at Banyan Tree Krabi was unforgettable. The property is stunning, lush greenery, ocean views, and a peaceful atmosphere that felt like paradise. Our beachfront villa was spotless, luxurious, and incredibly relaxing.||A special shout out to Daria for her warm welcome and thoughtful care. She truly set the tone for our amazing stay. Our first visit to this resort. The beachfront and views are gorgeous. It is large enough to have all the amenities but small enough not to feel crowded. Facilities are well kept and the grounds immaculate.||But the most impressive part of the experience is the staff - skilled, very well trained, genuine, and attentive.||A special thank you to Daria, our designated host, for the personalized attention and her kind way of welcoming us and making us feel at home. Daria is an outstanding example of first class service business asset. Because of her and the other F&B staff we will be booking another holiday at the resort in the coming months.

We had a wonderful stay at Banyan Tree Krabi and would like to thank the amazing staff, especially Ms. Fah, for going out of her way to make our holiday truly special. Her warmth and attention to detail really stood out. We stayed in the Deluxe Partial Ocean View Suite, and it was absolutely lovely—comfortable bed, beautifully appointed room, and a million-dollar view of Krabi and the bay. The white sandy beach was stunning, especially on sunny days, and the cabanas added that perfect touch of luxury and relaxation. We only made it to breakfast once, but it was decent. The Thai restaurant served some fantastic food, and the bar, though quiet in the late evening, had one of the best views you could ask for. I genuinely feel the bar has huge potential—if they bring in the right bartenders, they could really enhance the sunset vibe and upsell drinks to match the setting. I also used the gym, which was well-equipped and did the job for a quick workout. The Buggy’s came really quick and the drivers were quite polite and kind. I just love how hospitable the service staff was. Overall, a solid 5/5 for the property. If I had one suggestion, it would be to rethink the bar experience a little—especially the dishwashing being done in front of customers, which felt a bit off in an otherwise serene setting. The Krabi team should give a pat on their backs for delivering a wonderful resort team. We were impressed with every single staff, all so polite and friendly and always with a smile. We were hosted by Daria, who was ever so accommodating to our requests. The bar team, and in particular Khem and Noom made us feel so at home. The spa therapists were also so good, we went back twice in two days. The testament that it was a good stay, is that we’re already looking forward to our next visit there.

Absolutely loved our stay at Banyan Tree Krabi! The staff were warm, friendly, and always helpful. Our room was clean, modern, and super comfortable, perfect for our anniversary. The special setup they prepared made it even more memorable. Breakfast had great variety, and the team at Saffron served some of the best Thai food we’ve had. Highly recommended. We’ll definitely be back!

EXCEPTIONAL! From the moment we arrived, the experience was seamless and luxurious. We did not want to leave. You truly feel as though you are tucked away and are able to relax. The staff are incredibly helpful and no small detail (from lighting tea lights in the room to small gifts on our pillow each night…a different one) is overlooked. The spa is amazing and worth every penny.
