Banyan Tree Kuala Lumpur – A Wonderful Stay in the Heart of the City The hotel is beautifully located in the Golden Triangle, just across from Pavilion KL, with stunning views of the Petronas Twin Towers. It’s slightly removed from the hustle and bustle of Bukit Bintang, yet still close enough for easy access — a perfect balance between convenience and tranquility. Upon check-in, guests are offered a selection of incense and essential oils for their room — a lovely and thoughtful personal touch. We stayed in the Signature Banyan Retreat, which was cozy, comfortable, and came with all the amenities you’d expect, plus a beautiful view of KL’s night skyline. We did encounter a minor issue on our first night when the room’s light switches stopped working, including the master switch. The maintenance engineer arrived promptly, even though it was close to midnight, and quickly resolved the issue with a system reset. Really appreciate how efficient and polite he was! We also dined at Torito, the hotel’s Peruvian-Japanese restaurant, and it was a delightful experience. The ceviche clásico is a must-try — so refreshing and full of flavor. The lomo saltado featured perfectly cooked medium-rare beef tenderloin, and the stone ceviche, a warm twist on the classic, was equally impressive. Unfortunately, we were too full to try dessert, but the attentive service made the meal memorable. Special thanks to Izat (Front Desk), Hakim (Breakfast), and all the other staff members whose names we didn’t catch, for their warmth, patience, and genuine hospitality. Their friendly smiles and willingness to help made our stay at Banyan Tree Kuala Lumpur truly enjoyable.

My stay at Banyan Tree was absolutely amazing. The moment I stepped in, I was greeted by an aromatic scent that instantly made me feel calm and pampered. The food was exceptional, and every dish felt thoughtfully prepared. The service was warm, attentive, and made the whole experience even more memorable. Perfect Location in the center of the city! Petronas towers within 15-20 min walking distance.|Atmosphere at hotel was excellent! Very friendly staff who helped us out whenevere we needed assistance!|The rooms are spacious, clean and just gorgeous.|You defenetly get your value for your money! I visited this hotel to have breakfast at Horizon Grill, and it was an amazing experience! The food was absolutely delicious, the view was stunning, and the customer service was top-notch. Our waitress, Hakim, was so lovely and attentive—he even offered to take some photos for us, which made our visit even more special. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking to enjoy a great meal with a beautiful atmosphere!

The service is faultless from the moment you arrive — professional, polite, and genuinely warm. The rooms are spotless, modern, and designed for comfort, with incredible skyline views that make the city feel right at your window. Breakfast at Horizon Grill was a highlight — great food, calm atmosphere, and that unbeatable view of the Petronas Towers. Vertigo rooftop bar is just as impressive at night, with stylish lighting, great drinks, and a relaxed, high-end feel. Everything runs smoothly here — check-in, dining, room service — it’s all handled with quiet efficiency. You really feel looked after, never rushed. A perfect stay from start to finish. The Banyan Tree KL is luxury done properly — worth every penny and easily my top pick in the city.

Really enjoyed my stay at Banyan Tree KL! The room layout is so thoughtful. Totally in love with the bathroom as it connects seamlessly to the bathtub, wardrobe, toilet, and dressing table, making it super convenient and luxurious. The pool almost feels private and the city view is stunning. Service is top-notch too with essential oils and incense sticks set up every evening at 6pm in our room. Breakfast options are quite limited so definitely an area for improvement but the view from Horizon Grill, where breakfast is served, is absolutely amazing.

I had dinner at Horizon Grill and was absolutely impressed by the service!|Tia, my waitress, was an absolute gem — so kind, attentive, and genuinely professional. She made the whole experience special. The food was delicious, but honestly, I’d come back to Horizon Grill just for her amazing service. Easily the best service I’ve experienced in Kuala Lumpur! 💫

This Banyan Tree has top notch facilities (very comfy bed and all) with some glitchy service, but overall a wonderful experience. Our room had a view on the iconic Petronas twin towers, and drew a bubble bath with rose peddles to surprise us. Delicious welcome cake as well as cards. Lots of balloons and rose pedals on our bed! Banyan Tree's 53rd floor pool was definitely a highlight, day and night. Their Vertigo bar on the rooftop is also great (though music not fitting the ambiance, venue, and was too loud). Breakfast on the rooftop was nice (small buffet but there's a menu to order various dishes). Service sometimes slow. Note: Very slow service both in terms of room service and service in all of their restaurants. A lot of miscommunication and dropped communication in their team (we had to repeated our requests, etc). For context we visited during the American Thanksgiving in November. Lots of Christmas decorations here and they love Bridgerton.

This high-end, five-star hotel offers sweeping views of Kuala Lumpur from the 54th through 56th floors! Imagine falling asleep in your suite gazing through a bank of windows overlooking the stunning skyline including the Petronas Towers and Merdeka 118. Automatic drapes can be opened or closed from the comfort of your bed. You'll check in on the 53rd floor where you'll also find the spa, a well-shaded pool overlooking the city, and the excellent Torito restaurant offering Peruvian-Japanese fusion. Another all-day restaurant (your morning breakfast spot) is situated on the 58th floor, a bar is located on the 59th floor, and rooftop viewing is accessible on the 60th floor through the bar. Banyan Tree's exquisite rooms feature what may be the best shower we've ever experienced after traveling to 82 countries, and the shower even has different lighting choices to fit your mood! The service is unbelievable, and the employees are incredibly professional! Upon checking in, you even get to select the scents you want to smell in your room each night! Just a few negative aspects downgrade my rating from five stars to four. There was no way to plug in our phones next to the bed in our suite, so we had to recharge phones across the room. The breakfast is incredibly underwhelming, and the food at the 58th-floor restaurant in general is just awful. It is certainly not befitting of a five-star establishment, and even the unbelievable views from the dining room and balcony cannot mask the deplorable food here. You can't drink the water from the tap in any room, and the lack of a safe, filtered water tap that other upscale hotels have is surprising.

Unforgettable night of margaritas and salsa dancing with the Petronas towers and sunset view in the background. Lively, international clientele and beautiful, thoughtful accommodations. Banyan Tree resorts are always a good idea, where ever you may find yourself around the globe.

Wowza. Literally the nicest hotel I've ever stayed at in my life. A few key takeaways: -you're greeted with a scented cool hand washing town and housemade lemonade -guests choose a signature scent for their room which will be used during turndown service - our particular room was upgraded and featured an amazing tub and walk in shower overlooking the city with four shower heads -the rooms feature tons of complimentary amenities like Loofa Sponges, writing paper, coffee, tea, bath salts, mouthwash, etc. -guests are provided free welcome drink to be used at their in house bar (they also have the highest rooftop bar in Kuala Lumpur -58th floor...our room was on the 55th!) -the pool on the 53rd floor could not have a more incredible view of the city- stunning views of the Petronas Towers -this hotel just opened last year in KL- we were told it's a popular Asian high end hotel chain -large buffer breakfast is complimentary but we had to opt for the carryout boxes that they created for us (with coffee, juice and pastries) due to an early AM flight -this was our big splurge night of the trip after returning from the jungle and cost us $135 for the night Overall, this was one for the books.
