"Banyu Wana Amertha Waterfall, a lesser-known Northern Bali attraction, is a little hard to get to. You'll need to drive at least 90 minutes from Ubud and take a winding, 20-minute hike through a banana plantation. But once you've completed the journey, you'll be rewarded handsomely with a lush forest hiding a set of grand waterfalls that are somehow not overrun by crowds. You’re here for the falls and, depending on the season, you might be able to safely access all four. The main waterfall is the most spectacular—a verdant rock amphitheater with misty streams cascading down to a shallow pool. Come at an opportune time of the day—the earlier the better—and you might have this slice of paradise all to yourself. In Bali, it's rare to find a splendid attraction unsullied by the traveling masses—go before word catches on." - Travis Levius

The waterfalls are absolutely worth a visit and you can really spend a lot of time there to take in the beauty of the area and the waterfalls. There is also the possibility to go into the water at one waterfall and at the other you can stand directly behind the waterfall for a photo. I recommend using the moped service offered at the entrance because the distance to the waterfalls is a bit long...

Four incredibly beautiful waterfalls and not super touristy. All of them are so different and all simply breathtaking! Definitely my favorite falls in Bali 🧚‍♀️

The waterfalls are indeed beautiful but it is an absolute no go to create a motorbike highway on a small walking path in a nature reserve! We know the taxis want to earn money but that’s an absolute NO GO! We were gased by CO2 Pollution from the motorbikes running up and down the narrow walking path. It’s fatty and lazy tourists creating that issue for being too lazy to walk and enjoy the nature. We enjoyed the red coral, Belong, Lebuhan and all the other waterfalls in the surroundings were much more astonishing than this overrun track. Shame really that people destroy the habitat by abusing nature and animals! Same with dolphin Tours - ridiculous and sad! Thailand is restricting Phi Phi Island to Protect it and Hawaii is keeping distance to the whales when whale watching. Here they chase them with plenty of motorboats just to satisfy ignorant tourists. Really maddening!

25k entrance fee (if I’m not mistaken). You had to walk down around 1.5km and get to see 4 waterfalls in 3 different area. Water was sooo cold and refreshing. Not so many people when we visited. On the way back there is bike transport for 25k in case you are tired

Loved these waterfalls! For 40k IDR you get entry to 4 different waterfalls. You’ll see a taller straight one where you can walk behind, 2 larger one with many falls over it and then another one like this but much larger where you can swim in clear water. The walk down and up is a little steep and can be slippery in the rain. There are some stairs but it is quite easy, just take your time. You can also get a ride down and up on a motorbike for 50k or just up for 30k. A beautiful place to visit, make sure to have enough time to enjoy it all.

We opted to visit Banyu wana Amertha waterfalls and Aling-Aling Waterfall in this part of Bali- Banya wana Amertha was 100 times better that aling-aling. Affordable entry ticket, no aggressive touts, no locals pushing you to use them as guides. Multiple gorgeous waterfalls of various size. you could get under the waterfalls any where you wanted with out paying an additional 'swimming fee'. We visited at 10am and almost had the place to ourselves.

We stopped here on the way from Denpasar to Lovina and was pleasantly surprised. Although we are in the relatively dry season, there was no shortage of water and 4 different falls made the 40k entry quite good value for money. The 1.2 km trek down is quite steep and we opted for a motorbike ride back up the hill for 30k each. Well worth a visit!
