Bao House

Baos and boba great combo and concept! My friends and I ordered a bunch of bobas and shared the pork, chicken, BBQ pork and roast duck bao. They were all delicious and we fought over the duck and pork baos. You get plenty of meat inside each one and the meats are very tender. There are great drink and food specials here. Don't expect to spend much here.

TL;DR: good ingredients, presentation, great space, although the bao need a little sauce. The dough is spot on, fluffy, light, with the just the right amount of everything. The ingredients are great. The bao are just the right size for the price, somewhat larger than other bao, so don't let the price dissuade you. Two of them make for a good sized lunch. I had the pork and roast duck, and that was definitely enough food. The bao could use some sauce, though. Some sriracha mayo, aioli, or oyster sauce would go a long way to improving the flavor and mouthfeel. Even just a spot of QP/kewpie mayo would make these incredible. I will definitely be going back, even if it means I have to add my own condiments.

Nice staff, good service. Milk tea was kind of average. The roast duck sandwich was good~ I liked it. A bit disappointed with the popcorn chicken. Even though the popcorn chicken was fresh & crisp, it was almost tasteless. If I would go again, definitely cos of the roast duck sandwich.

An impressive showing for their Grand Opening day. The fresh iced tea was delicious (but easy to drink all too quickly, particularly the Pineapple Green), and the bao were lightly-seasoned and delicious, letting the meat and filling shine. I can only hope to someday make a bun as fluffy as theirs.

This is hands down’ the best place for boba tea and great food Chinatown has to offer!! My fiancé and I order the one tea, one smoothie, wings, an amazing duck sandwich and an icee. Zero complaints, like seriously amazing customer service, great food and drinks. Thats Unheard of These Days 👏🏼 Also, did I mention great prices throughout

Super friendly staff and good service. Unfortunately, the main attraction, the Bao, was really missing the mark. It was plain and dry. It had no signature peanuts and sugar. It was just a slice of pork inside a bun with some bizzare large piece of lettuce.

Nice staff. Cheaper snacks, teas, etc. Quaint tables for small groups.

Delicious food, friendly staff, and very reasonable prices. Staff was happy to recommend a variety of sauces for us to try with our meal.
