A very informative display about the culture and history of Vietnam, especially Con Dao prison. The only downside is some info is in Vietnamese so make sure you have Google lens translator on your phone!

Actually very interesting and insightful, gives solid history of the “prison island” that Con Dao was for over a century. Well laid out and highly recommended before visits the prison buildings nearby. Get a ticket and it’s a pass for 5 locations

A good place to learn about the cruel history of this little beautiful island. A lot innocent people suffered here until they finally died. It’s hard to see all this but it’s important that somebody could still tell the truth about this place. Very informative and it’s a part and the history of that paradise. The museum give you a very good insight about the islands history and the war.

Solemn place with a dark history, many square meters of gaol area to walk. Had the "tiger cages" where prisoners were held and tortured. Get a ticket at the ticket office first as there are many entrances and they won't let you in if you go to the wrong entry.

A beautiful, well-organized historical museum with lots of valuable mementos. You can buy a ticket at the entrance and it serves as a day-pass for this museum and 4 other places.
