Second time at the same hotel. Check-in was smooth and a big thanks to Camilla for the warm welcome and attentive service throughout our stay!||The hotel is located on the hillside with stunning views of the sea and city. A peaceful and quiet hotel, away from the tourist crowds – just what we appreciate from a holiday (thankfully no public or poolside entertainment or rowdiness).||Friendly and considerate service throughout our stay from reception to restaurants and cleaning staff, as you would expect from a 5-star hotel. Fantastic rooms, and we received an upgrade to a room with an extra bedroom which made our stay even more enjoyable (thank you!). Several suites have their own private pool, so there is lots of space at the two public swimming pools. No need to queue for sun loungers – always space.||The breakfast was amazing as last time and with three restaurants to choose from, it was easy to find a favorite for dinner. The kids' club was also great for children. An excellent experience once again and we will definitely return next year!

The hotel was much nicer than we expected. It had such a beautiful feel to the suites, restaurant and indeed the whole hotel. We were made to feel that nothing was too much trouble. |Happily for us the hotel is in a quiet location and is only 10 mins walk to the beach. It is at the top of a hill which could be challenging for some people- taxis are readily available. ||There is so much choice for breakfast, buffet, table service or a breakfast box. Food was quality. ||Overall, we loved our week here and are definitely planning a return.

I gave a 5* rating because we found this to be one of the best places we’ve stayed at in Tenerife, and we’ve stayed at a lot over the years.|On arrival we were given a room at the highest point up the hill, although the room was great the position was not, so we asked to be moved. We ended up in a suite at the bottom of the hill in a similar room with a great view. The balcony must have been 12 mtrs long with a dining table two loungers and sofa, with a great view over the bay to Las Americas.|The kitchen looked like it had never been used and included a fridge/freezer/washer and all you would expect. We didn’t cook anything as there was not a decent supermarket anywhere near, so no chicken/fish night in for us(we were told that you could order food online from a supermarket and have it delivered) but we didn’t risk it.|Breakfast had great sausage, back bacon and scrambled eggs which I usually avoid were the best , nice & soft. ( warm plates would have made it even better)|No pushing and shoving here, no queuing for a fried egg. Fresh orange juice in your own carafe, nice choice of breads, no tables left uncleared for more than a minute. We didn’t have the box breakfast delivered, but was told it was very good.|BB. Was also good for breakfast but we preferred the wider choice of the buffet.|The is hotel was immaculately clean and the staff couldn’t do enough especially, Andri (think that’s right, chamber maid) and Camilla in Guest Experience who looked after us.||We will certainly be going back.

We've stayed at Baobab Suites a few times now, usually in higher up rooms with sea views, so we weren't sure how we'd feel about a ground-floor suite with a garden and mountain view, especially over New Year, but Villa Aqua 003 completely surprised us, and we're so glad we booked it!||Our one bed villa, known as a Divinity Eden room was spacious, modern, and spotlessly clean. The most important aspect of our Divinity Eden suite for us was the total privacy we got on the terrace, so quiet and relaxing. We spent most of our time out there, enjoying the outdoor sofa and sun loungers and taking in the peaceful mountain views. Our villa came with an automatic, retractable awning, which was great as you get a lot of sun on the terrace.||Morning coffee watching the sunrise against the mountains became our favourite way to start the day, it felt so calm and tranquil.|We also loved that there's a side door out of the hotel into the street, that you can access from the Villa aqua suites, we appreciated this access, making it easier for us to get around.||The villa was really well equipped, which made our stay even better. We ordered a food shop through the Mercadona app, and the amazing hotel staff delivered everything to our villa. It was great to enjoy some of our meals on the terrace in the evening.||The hotel itself has a calm and chilled vibe and is in a perfect spot for walking to Del Duque, Fanabe, and La Caleta. By the afternoon, we'd usually head to the pool, relaxing on a sun lounger and enjoy the drinks service from the BB restaurant, the Rose wine is lovely (Marques de Caceres) and only €5 per glass.||Villa Aqua 003 was a peaceful and private space, it felt like our own little retreat. We couldn't have been happier with our stay and would definitely book this suite again.||Highly recommend it!

A truely wonderful place, set away from the hustle and bustle but an easy walk to the beach and town. The facilities were excellent with restaurants, pools and bars all onsite, plus access to a proper gym next door. The apartment was modern, spacious and fitted with everything you'd need for a relaxing break. The little touches really made the holiday, such as the breakfast tray delivered each morning at no extra cost which came with a day's worth of food. What really made it such a memorable stay were the the staff who are friendly and knowledgeable and who can't do enough to make your stay enjoyable, epecially the guest experience manager Carmella who was absolutely supurb, going above and beyond to make sure the stay was enjoyable and relaxing.

This was our 1st Xmas at Baobab and we’ve already booked for next year. A fab stay as usual, the decor was lovely, the restaurant serving a wonderful meal and music too. Alternatively you could just relax on the terrace or by the pool and let the day pass in a haze of sunshine. Wonderful.||Our thanks as always to the amazing staff. I’m sure it must be in the Baobab job description to be one of life’s charmers because that’s what they all are.||Camilla, Sophie, Fabio, Toby, Javier, Lauren, Kristen, Nathan and all the reception team can’t do enough for you. They are so warm and welcoming. Leslie who kept our apartment sparkling and all the cleaning and maintenance crew are so obliging.||We had great lunches in the pool bar. Excellent food and a cool laid back atmosphere. Thank you to Katia, Aida, Jason and everyone there. ||As we can’t wait till next Xmas we’re coming again in February. See you then and Happy New Year!

What an amazing place this is. From the moment we arrived we were greeted by Corina and Gerardo who couldn't have been more helpful. The hotel is absolutely beautiful and modern. We stated in the 1 bedroom suite with whirlpool. The room was lovely. Island kitchen, huge balcony with 2 day beds and dining table. The bedroom was very spacious with a large wardrobe for 2. Taking our 2 year old they also provided a spare bed. They also have a soft play room with 2 really friendly child minders there who were always doing arts and crafts, making balloons and making the space much more than just a play room. There are far too many positives with this hotel to list but what really makes it are the staff. I wanted to make it a special occasion as I was proposing to my girlfriend and Camilla the guest experience coordinator was just fantastic. Whatsapping, and even came in on her day off to arrange the special occasion. Her and Gerardo decorated the full room with rose petals, champagne, chocolate and balloons. The also filmed us coming in and arranged music. Camilla made the experience so special for us. Having stayed in 5 star hotels in the past I always find guest experience managers to be very in your face and salsey but Camilla was so sincere and genuine. Her involvement in the proposal was just as special for her. She is an asset to the hotel. Gerardo who is just brilliant showed us up to the room and told us everything we needed to know about the location. Javier was brilliant with restaurant recommendations every night when we were stuck for ideas. There is a large hill leading up to the hotel from the town but the hotel have that sorted. They give you free taxis down to the beach and the shopping centre from 9-5. They have 2 unbelievable restaurants in Kar Bon and Char. Where we ate and were really impressed with. As well as the breakfast buffet. Great choice and the food was tasty. All round a 10/10 experience and we will definitely be back.

Spotlessly clean and super friendly staff.||Had 3 bedroom suite with pool.||Very relaxing and free taxi shuttle to beach.||Can get BBC channels on large TV & TV’s in 2 smaller bedrooms (not main one)||Everything you need is catered for.||Breakfast is lovely too & was included in our stay. ||The BB lounge is small but has great views for all day dining & drinks.

Yelp
We came here in the middle (of hopefully the tail end) of the pandemic in May 2021 as it was one of the only places EU passport holders could travel without quarantine: Tenerife had a relatively good grasp on the pandemic and this hotel offered private suites with a large balcony and private pool and/or jacuzzi. Most importantly it "felt" safe and the staff did all they could to follow the necessary sanitary regulations in light of the pandemic. There were hand sanitizer stations literally on every corner and all the staff was wearing a face mask plus protective shield. We stayed in a two bedroom suite with jacuzzi (Serenity Allegra), the room was really more an apartment with a huge balcony on both sides and a fully equipped kitchen - absolutely not your average hotel kitchen! The decoration is nice and functional. The staff was very friendly and I loved the fact that you were able to communicate via whatsapp with them (although I might used it more often than a regular call - apologies for that!). The room service in the morning consisted out of a huge breakfast box (since most of the restaurants are closed). While we enjoyed the variety I also must note that it felt a bit wasteful as you have to choose between 4 different boxes and each of them contain things that we don't eat (out of personal preference) and they get thrown away but I guess it is the only way in a pandemic? The only restaurant open was the Fuel sport club bar restaurant, which was very average food wise and I guess that is the biggest downside: since a lot of places are closed, the dining and lunch options are quite limited and most things are only reachable by car (aka taxi). They do have a room service for lunch/dinner but the menu is not very extensive (understandably) and it would be good to at least extend it to the offering of the Fuel restaurant. In addition, when you book they state that there is free service to the nearest beach, where there are more restaurants but unfortunately that service is only until 5 pm (which I didn't see mentioned on the website, not sure if it is stated there!) but obviously dinner is typically later in the day so it isn't much of a use. Overall a good experience, would come again but hope they offer more food options -even in covid19 times!

Yelp
We celebrated a week of holiday at Baobab Suites. A relatively new place 5 minutes by car away from Playa del Duque on Tenerife. Most suites, that are actually luxurious apartments, have their own swimmingpool. The fully equipped kitchen is especially convenient if you have kids. There is also a very long swimming pool and a small kids pool in a public area surrounded by comfortable sunbeds and colorful design parasols. Here is also the pool bar that has a nice lunch menu or you can have dinner here. Breakfast is served in your suite or you can enjoy it in the other restaurant of the place, which is underground and also serves dinner at night. With the breakfast they bring in the room come some Nespresso cups for the machine that is in the room. This is very handy as the coffee in the restaurant is really bad. But that is the only criticism I have. The place is very suitable for families but also nice for couples without children. If you do have children with you, you have to visit the kidsclub! I don't think there is a kindergarden anywhere in the world so spacey and with so many nice toys! The sitter is there 5 days a week and they allow children from 4 years and older to stay without the parents. Younger children have to come with their parents. Also on the other two days of the week kids can play there with supervision of a parent. The hotel has a taxi service to and from the beach at any time you like. From there you can walk along the boulevard or go to the shopping area. A taxi is always there within a few minutes. For day trips you can get all the information you need at the excursion desk of the hotel. The lady is very helpful to discuss possibilities to explore the island. If you like design, luxury and comfort on your holiday, this is a place to choose.
