From the moment we walked in, we felt welcomed. The food was fantastic. Some of the best cheese fries and softshell crab I've eaten in Portugal so far! When we sat down, they brought my dog a bowl of water and a plate of snacks which were only for the dog and not to be eaten by us although they smelled good enough to eat!

I ordered from here twice as a takeaway and tried the beef noodles and tantan men, both classic Taiwanese dishes. For a spot in Porto, halfway across the world from Taiwan, the food is impressively authentic—it really felt like being in Taipei. Highly recommended for everyone but especially for East Asian travelers craving a taste of home. The portions are generous, so you definitely get great value for your money.

We loved our dinner at Bao’s! Delicious tofu and jackfruit bao, great salad and crisp sweet potato fries. The staff were all so kind and friendly which made it a fun night with our baby. Perfect casual spot for a quick bite.

Very tasty bao. Not a bad filling, especially with the prawn. Nice dough. Funky different writings on the walls. Friendly staff

Very average food, buns nothing special and the veggie options were super bland and not tasty. Veggie bowl was just fried rice. we won’t come back here sadly. For a quick lunch you just want something to keep you full all day it’s good I guess.

We’ve been coming here sense they opened. small but filling fist size rice buns (gluten free )filled with super flavorful protein, pork belly’s my go to , but there’s chicken, fish, crab, beef and veg also, smart salads, and actually fries done right! quick and easy inexpensive, friendly English speaking staff. Good place for people watching cuz it on a busy Pedestrian Mall corner.

Interesting concept but the food is adapted to western taste with the use of mayonnaise and coleslaw. However, the baos were still tasty and the soft shell crab is definitely a must-try.

On day 3 of our 6 day holiday to Porto, we visited here for a takeaway. Come 3am, my partner was being violently sick. This carried on throughout the next 3 days - It was evident he had food poising from what we assume was the shrimp bao (the only one I didn’t try). This took him out for the 3 remaining days of our holiday - such a shame. We went back to bao bun and the staff there didn’t apologise, only questioned whether he has allergies and told us they had sold plenty of shrimp. There was a similar review left on trip advisor for earlier this month. Please avoid. I’ll be contacting management.
