Super fun hotel bar with fascinating history and warm, welcoming service. We stopped by after dinner and were instantly charmed by the atmosphere. The ladies behind the bar were so sweet and attentive. They enjoyed sharing the story of The Rollimh Stones infamous pie fight in the hotel. Loved the French 75, and sitting in the Cinderella booth made the experience extra special.

Wonderful food & drinks, great atmosphere, & amazing service! We had so much fun spending out evenings here when we stayed at the Gore! Even if you’re not staying at the hotel, I highly recommend stopping by!

The Rolling Stones held the launch party and photoshoot for their 1968 album, Beggars Banquet, at The Gore Hotel, located at 190 Queen's Gate, London Original wooden panelling and lavish furnishings dominate the bar, and the walls, decorated with the images of the famous Rolling Stones album . This is the place for stones fans to sit and enjoy this place , in the bar that Mick and the boys was in 1968 , it's great that Gore hotel have kept the Stones here for all the stones to come and see , will be back to get a drink and more pictures , love The Rolling Stones :)

A lovely place for a drink & stay around corner of Royal Albert Hall - if you're a Rolling Stones fan - great photos on the wall

Cosy small bar within the beautiful Gore Hotel. A cosy home from home feel in the heart of London's museum and cultural areas.

Google
We found Bar 190 by chance as we were looking for a place to go for an afternoon cocktail after an exhibition at the V&A and very glad we did! What a gem! The atmosphere in the Bar was exquisitely decadent and the service was impeccable. Our barman, Victor, was an incredible host advising us about the different cocktails which he tailored on our taste. We had a fantastic afternoon and we will definitely be back! I strongly recommend it!

My friends and I stayed for one night at The Gore and had the most amazing time. It was made extra special by the service and drinks at Bar 190. Massive thanks to David and Salvador who kept the cocktails coming, took our photos and provided olives as a snack. Highly recommend the Espresso Martini! As guests we were allowed to stay later than the usual opening hours and were served by a lovely man (so sorry, I’ve not got his name) who took over the all important drinks duties for our group. Thank you again and please don’t watch what will no doubt be the embarrassing CCTV of 3 middle aged women singing and dancing.

Yelp
This review pertains to the hotel restaurant below the bar, not the bar itself. We had a superb dinner, enjoying sumptuous food in an elegant dining room. This restaurant is a luxury experience, and worth fully what one spends. We dined pre-Prom and made known time and dietary constraints, all of which were observed perfectly. Wonderful corgette, vol au vent, lamb, and beef. Find wine selection. An excellent choice for a special occasion.

Yelp
For what's around this area, bar 190 is amazing!!! Very cozy, could be slightly warmer, espresso martini's are fantastic, cauliflower soup is good but not outstanding.... Fair for the price. Service was good.

Yelp
This place is small and vibey. We came on a Monday, and got seated (party of 6) right away. The sesame old fashioned is so different and delicious. My friend also got a delicious drink with edible gold on top! All in all would come back!

Yelp
Lovely warm cocktail bar with professional passionate bar staff. We met there for pre dinner drinks and had a negroni (freepoured) and some champagne cocktails. The walls being adorned with the pictures of the Beatles in situ amongst others hints at the history and character and piques the curiosity of what went on here over the years. Apparently there have been some pretty debauched parties here over the years. Overall very comfortable and warm cosy design aesthetics suitable for a couple of drinks or a long night in. Food looked good as well. Although didn't try it.

Yelp
Probably one of the most authentic English bars (located in Gore hotel). Charming and cozy with exceptional service and barman who has perfected the art of mixology including great Irish coffee!

Yelp
Absolutely delicious Gore Martini (with apple juice and cucumber) as well as a decent Harvey Wallbanger. Excellent service and atmosphere.

Yelp
Strictly speaking, this is a hotel bar (part of the Gore). But it doesn't feel like one, and non-residents are welcome. The decor hasn't changed much since the 80's - dark wood, comfy sofas, subtle lighting and candles. It is a well kept secret considering how close it is to the Royal Albert Hall. Excellent for pre- and post-theatre drinks, and they even serve some tapas (a bit average, but better than going to see a performance on an empty stomach).

Yelp
We rolled in here lastnight before the London Symphony at Royal Albert Hall and it was like walking into the swinging 1960's of London. This nostalgic atmosphere was highly assisted by the Rolling Stones portraits up on the wall of the band (including Brian Jones) hanging at the hotel back in the day. Real chic spot, great mahogany interior with funky seating - - my favorite was two Cindarella chariot seats roped off with a £500 minimum to sit there (once I'm out of my 20's) All in all this place was an experience. Very different from what I usually get around work in The City or at home in Shoreditch. Really liked the change-up, will be stopping by next time I am down in Kensignton.

Yelp
Even after living in the area for many years and my old university department being just round the corner from this bar, I only recently visited this place a couple of weeks ago. The bar is part of the Gore Hotel - you enter via the main entrance and the bar is on your left. The interior has a classic feel, dark wood and low lights. I went on a Monday night, so it was reasonably quiet which was an added bonus. It's a lovely meet-up venue for a few casual drinks in a prestigious area - Kensington Gardens and The Royal Albert Hall are just moments away.

Yelp
We happened upon this place after having been at the Victoria and Albert Museum looking for a place to hide from the rain. Turns out it was an amazing and enjoyable place to spend a little time. We ordered a charcuterie plate that was very good and had some rare gin with interesting garnishes. Was lie kelly my favorite bar in London.

Yelp
There are not a lot of immediate drinking options in this area near Royal Albert Hall and Hyde Park, and I liked the look of the Gore Hotel, its restaurant (Bistro One Ninety Queen's Gate) and the bar (which is apparently very popular?), so I suggested that a friend meet me there for drinks when we were both in the neighbourhood. I can't remember which day of the week it was, but the place was completely empty save for a strange couple in the corner who looked a bit alarmed and a lone man at the bar, hunched over his beer. We sat at the bar and were promptly attended to by a friendly barman (as we were basically the only ones there) who served us very diluted martinis. And NO bar snacks. Not even some nuts? we asked. Crisps? no. Olives? no. Nothing was free - and this is technically a hotel bar. We were forced to order some olives for nearly £4 and then a sad plate of pitta with hummus - or was it guacamole? Whatever, it was not good. I'm giving the bar 2 stars only because the space was kind of atmospheric and could be cool with the right crowd.

Yelp
You can actually drink in a Cinderella's carriage-like compartment! The bartender was more than accomodating to us as well. And you can take your drinks into the adjacent little restaurant. It was devilishly quiet when we were there, but that added to the charm and was very relaxing.
