"Bar Aduela draws crowds who spill onto its large terrace and nearby sidewalks, beers and fernet shots in hand. It’s the place for a lively evening in Porto." - Coolstuff Team

This was our favourite spot we found in our time in Porto. Buzzing atmosphere outside. The toasts were great value for money. Would recommend!! Does get very busy so you won’t always get a table immediately, but the service is quick

Google
Kind, friendly staff who had great recommendations. The wine was about £3/glass. 🍷 There was a warm, fun atmosphere. Cute, quirky decor inside but lots of seating outside in the sun. 🪑🌞

Google
Best bar in Porto, gets busy for a reason so just stand with a drink and enjoy the atmosphere. Would highly recommend! A nice mix of locals and non-fuss tourists, great value drinks (would recommend the port and tonic). Vibes

Google
Really fun place for drinks. There is no table service so you have to order from the bar. The drinks are made quickly so the line moves pretty quick. There is a large outdoor sitting area but it fills up pretty quick. I would suggest getting here before 7:00pm. Try the Little Faca Gin its really good.

My husband and I visited Bar Aduela during the day, and it was lovely. The service was friendly and efficient. Please note: there is no table service, so you need to go to the bar to order. Unfortunately, we didn't have time to eat the food on offer, but it looked fantastic.

Google
My favourite bar in Porto. It’s a little pearl with the outside garden. In the mornings and afternoons it’s full of people drinking coffee and eating brunch or just drinking beer or wine. However, in the evenings it’s full of life with mix of people of different age. A lot of people just stands on the street and drinks. Even when it’s full, the service is quick and you never stand long in the queue. Definitely must have to experience. Also hidden gem/drink - Amendao Amarga. Almond liqueur with lemon juice.

Google
Very nice and relaxed place. Hang out, have a drink and take the vibe with you. Very well attended. If you don't get a table, just wait, chat and enjoy. Really great.

Google
Nice place with a great Vibe, good food, decent prices. No table service, but the place is tiny, so not an issue - you order at the bar, but food is brought to the table. Highly recommend for a late breakfast or a drink throughout the day

Yelp
One of my staple places for a beer and a snack. No table service, so you have to order inside. While the staff have hard exteriors at first, they are really fun. I am working on my language skills and every time I come into the bar I use my Portuguese words, they playfully correct me and each visit I get better and better. After all, knowing the correct way to order a beer in Portugal is very important to me. :) Excellent patio area that is often packed and/or full. It is on the fork of two alleys, so people watching is prime-time because of the location. The inside also has seating that is usually open (earlier in the day) and has a ton of character and charm. Patio or inside, you can't have a bad spot. Don't take my spot if you go. I like the side patio!

Yelp
This place was downstairs from our hotel and - honestly, we could hear the party there every night. We Finally were able to visit in our last night in town and it did not disappoint. It's a small room with a bar and a few tables and then more tables outside. There is no table service so make your way tot he bar to order. The prices were reasonable and the vibe was great. Stop in if you're in the area.a great spot for a beer and wine.

Yelp
Definitely recommend for lunch or an evening drink. Loved the interior! It was quirky, fun, and inviting! The food was delicious and fresh. Loved our experience. We had the open sandwich with salame and cheese, and tried three different fish tapas!

Yelp
It has a pleasant atmosphere with a busy hours in the evening. You can choose wine, beer or cocktails of your choice. Sometimes in the evening they do take only cash even thought card payment is available during the day.

Yelp
This was my favorite place in Porto. I've been here for a couple of weeks now and this place really made an impression. It's definitely where all of the locals go and everyone is really friendly. My favorite food here is the Mozzarella arugula pesto toast. It's also a great spot just to have a drink and talk.

Yelp
A great bar/meeting place for drinks and socializing. Grab a bottle of wine and a table or a spot on the curb and start your evening here!

Yelp
One of my fave bars here in Porto. The place is small, unassuming, yet it invites people from all walks of life and ages to get together and enjoy a beer or a glass of wine. The bar offers tapas and the best part, drinks and food are very cheap! You might have a hard time finding a place to seat, but is worth the wait. As the night grows, so is the noise and might be hard to engage in long conversations, but the atmosphere is cool and buzzing and is a nice spot to hit for a few drinks before dinner.

Yelp
If you're just looking for drinks, go to Candelabro. It's a short walk away, the atmosphere is warmer, the drink list is better, and the bartenders won't try to bilk you. If you're looking for food, just throw a stone. There are countless superior eating establishments in the neighborhood. If you're stubborn like me and insist on stopping here, watch out for the balding bartender with the bad beard. He saw me coming. I hope he uses the spoils to go to a barber or at least get a toothbrush. Hygiene is important.

Yelp
Nice, cozy and non presumptuous place with a vibrant atmosphere. It's a great spot for a coffee and pastry at noon or in the afternoon. At that time you'll find a quiet place for reading or working on your laptop with mellow background music. In the evening it's a pretty crowded bar ideal for having a good wine and a tosta. One of my favorite spots in the city so far!

Yelp
DO NOT order any food here. This was probably one of my worst bar experiences ever. My friend and I ordered toast and paid for it right away. We waited almost 1 hour for a toast and yes , we did check in with the rude staff after half an hour wait and he simply replied. "you have to wait" . after an hour, I went back to the counter and checked in with the lady and she said they didn't get any order for food at all. she apologized and said 5 minuets. long story short, this place is only good for grabbing beer and leave. after one hour and 15 minuets if wait, the rude guy brough the plate of toast and dropped it at our table without any apologies. to be more specific he is the shorter guy with less beard and attitude.

Yelp
This place is lovely! Very nice staff, good snacks and wine. Great prices with a cozy atmosphere. We've been here in the evening and during the day. A truly lovely little find in the city.

Yelp
The most pleasant, coolest and hippest place in Porto. With an olive tree in the center of the terrace, Aduela is the best place to hang around after work or strolling around.

Yelp
It's a really mellow place, trendy but laid back with friggin' 2€ sangrias (delicious). We walked back on our second day in Porto because we couldn't find a more relaxing vibe. Great terrasse, cool ambiance and music.

Yelp
Very cozy bar with outside seating. Recommended by a local. Had a quick glass of the house wine. Their burrata cheese with arugula on toast was great and good to share. Food menu was limited so not for dinner but happy hour snack to fill your stomach before moving on.

Yelp
the service is awful. the staff is very inattentive, busy with private conversations, and rude to guests. i would not go here, because there are plenty of friendly, good places in Porto.
