Bar Basque Capbreton

What a place to eat! Fantastic food and amazing service. The owners were there, hands on, big smiles. Family feel, you are one of them when you arrive.

We visited on a rainy cold day and the staff were so friendly and welcoming. Our French is not so good and everyone was understanding and helpful! Oysters & gambas were delicious. Dog friendly to boot! Would 10/10 recommend this spot to anyone visiting Capbreton.

Food was fresh, but didn’t wow us. Service was okay, but long wait times. Oddly the waitress picked up our wine glasses after they were dropped off at our table to give them to a different couple without saying a word. Couldn’t she just poured them a new glass instead of making it awkward for us?

Really nice and friendly place with an ocean view. The food was great and the price not too high. Definitely recommend this small cozy Basque restaurant.

Great restaurant with a good selection of food. You are welcomed by Katia and Christian who make you feel at home and help you in the selection of food and drinks. Very friendly and professional. Highly recommended to visit when in Capbreton.
