As a native of California, tacos are my jam, and it's been a mission looking for good tacos in a Tex-Mex world.
First, the price is cheap compared to other fancier places that may or may not drown the tacos in queso or chili. Portion sizes for the beans and rice based on the price are really good. Taco size is exactly what you get for street tacos without the second tortilla.
Second, the taste was really good given the cheap price. The chicken was a bit on the salty side, but that also could have been due to the cheese. The barbacoa had good taste, but unfortunately, my second taco was loaded with fat, so I was left with a higher tortilla than meat ratio for my last taco. The corn tortilla fell apart on my third taco but held up for the rest.
Rice was very good, and so were the pinto beans. The sliced up hot dog reminded me of my younger days when my grandma would make beans at home for us and also added in sliced hot dogs.
Both green and red salsa have good flavor, but be warned if you get both, they charge you extra since I'm assuming you only get one with an order. It's only .25 extra, though.
Will definitely be back to try the steak tacos and even some of the other items.
