"Sbocciamo in Brera My friend Andy says you can't go to Milan without having an evening in Brera, the tiny artsy area adjacent to Milan's fashion center. Bar Brera is the hangout of choice for expensive liquor and people watching."

The fish was very tasty and delicious. The panini was average, nothing special. Nice and busy location.

This was a lovely bustling spot to enjoy a beer / aperitif. Every seat was full so we were lucky to get a table outside, and there was great people watching. If you order an aperol (€12) you get very generous aperitivo included - toasts with meat, prawns, cheese etc. And you also get crisps for the table too. The Aperol was great and the beer was nice too. In total, we paid €2 for a litre of water, an Aperol and snacks, and a pint of beer. I’d recommend this spot!

The waiter didn’t care for us until we asked twice for a menu. They gave complimentary chips and pistachios to everyone but the waiter didn’t bring it to us. I asked if we could make order for it, then she brought for free. Sprits and plate with prosciutto and cheese were nice, we enjoyed it. Spritz is 12 €. Too many people were there at the time we visited it.

Fast service! Amazing cocktail! The place is very attractive!! The big boy and the little girl with the piercing gaze and beautiful eyes were true professionals! Very clean and tidy. My respect to the staff as a restaurant owne….

The best dishes! Pizza, spaghetti, pasta pesto! Cocktails are high quality and aesthetically appealing.Mariam, Waiter professional, Very neat and "clean" . With elegant and “proud” manners ..She is a very honest girl. When paying with cash, I accidentally gave more money than it was worth and he gave it back to me. I recommend everyone to go and enjoy Bar Brera Повна рекомендація!!!

Pleasant environment, of course lots of people around and a classic Italian atmosphere in the city center. Pleasant waiter and relatively solid portions of food with good taste. I can recommend

Yelp
I see why this spot is unclaimed- the service is abysmal. I saw no less than 3 tables get up a leave after waiting 20+ minutes to order drinks- then after another 20 mins of waiting gave up and walked... the food we ordered was an embarrassment to Italy and respect to prosciutto. The drinks were poorly made- and we're talking Aperol Spritz in Milan! In Italy! And they were terrible. There are so many other spots to sit and relax and enjoy aperitivo don't waste your time or money here. The location & atmosphere is nice and the people watching is good. The large basket of chips they give you is bigger than anywhere else but bad drinks and bad service and bar Parma that's 3 strikes. We're out.

Yelp
This bar sits right at the intersection of several awesome restaurants. I went passed it on most days, but on the last night of my vaca, I grabbed a seat. I had a few Moscow Mules, maybe one to many. It's a nice spot, cool staff, and some well made drinks.

Yelp
Good casual place for pizza and drinks! We stopped by here after some shopping in the Brera district because it was the only crowded spot on the street (figured maybe everyone else knew something we didn't!) and had a great lunch. Almost all of the guests sitting down were speaking Italian leading me to believe it is also a good local spot- but there was also English menus and English speaking staff. The service was a little slow, but that was probably due to how busy it was. Overall, good food at a casual place for pretty good prices.

Yelp
We went to Bar Brera for the aperitivo. The buffet inside offers a large assortment of simple but good food. It's a fun place to sit outside and enjoy the aperitivo. Considering the food you get, the price is very reasonable (8 or 10 Euros per drink, I don't remember exactly). We did not need dinner afterwards, just went for dessert somewhere else. Bar Brera is a good place to experience the Italian aperitivo. Just don't plan to have dinner after.

Yelp
Came here for an aperitivo, which was only 8 euros! Pros: - The buffet for the aperitivo was great - a larger assortment and they replenish it pretty quickly - Very close to the Castle - Love the atmosphere - extremely charming and relaxing - Multiple small tables outside and a couple inside the restaurant (some of the outdoor tables are wobbly due to the cobbled streets so just switch to another one) Cons: - Service isn't the greatest even though we went at a non crowded time

Yelp
This place was such a great find! Had the bruschetta with prosciutto and the risotto. Great prices and great portions as well. Highly recommend!

Yelp
Top mentioned bar in the Brera area so I had to check it our for myself. I came in around noon for some cappuccinos and paninis. Let's just say crowded is an understatement. Luckily, I snagged a table for 3 indoors since it was raining out. There are about 5-6 small tables inside so it can get cramped quickly. The waitresses were running around almost hitting people on the head with food orders. The service lacked big time, but it was clearly because they were overwhelmed. The cappuccino and sandwiches were OK but the overall ambiance was too busy and full of hipsters and I live in Brooklyn, New York - hipster nation. I would say it's a great spot for people watching - even indoors.

Yelp
I came here for round 2 drinking with my friends. I was pretty buzzed so I don't remember much but all I remember was that it was super crowded. Ummm.. I do remember that drinks here were fairly cheap because we ordered a platter of prosciutto and cheese, everyone got a drink and we got a bottle of fragolino. and we paid around 10 euros each.

Yelp
First night in Milano, after a long walk, starving, we stopted at the Bar Brera to test the aperitivo. The waitress said it wasn't over, nethertheless we could enjoy it only fifteen minutes ... Bad for us ! Moreover the buffet was reduce and food seems to be cheap and bad quality. Good point : my cocktail with prosecco and strawberry was good and not so expensive (8€). I recomande you to try an over place if you want to have a better experience than mine.

Yelp
Great aperitif hour. 6pm-9pm. Simple but very fresh buffet snacks that include pastas, cheeses, meats. Very, very filling. Drinks are $10. Nice location and plenty of outside seating.

Yelp
Brera is a beautiful neighbourhood to walk through but this bar is nothing special. We went for late night gin and tonics here. The staff was ok but not very friendly. The bathrooms were too dirty to use. The drinks were nothing special and €8,00 each. I suppose this place has a great location and the drinks are fairly priced for the area but I wouldn't come back here.

Yelp
Great drinks and super good happy hour where they serve a wonderful buffet of pastas and wonderful finger foods!

Yelp
What a cool place. We went into find aperitivo & so glad we did. Very relaxed feel, great retro decor, attentive service. When the menu says a drink is bitter, believe it. Felt like we had an authentic Milano experience. Highly recommend stopping by for a drink & munchies.

Yelp
This area of Milan (Brera) was probably my favourite, not more than a 5 minute walk North of the Duomo. If all you love is eating, drinking and shopping (which is pretty much all you can do in Milan) then this is the district you have to try and find. Brera is a labyrinth of back streets and cobbled roads for you to explore, each one holding its own little secrets. More than once you may find yourself wandering down a familiar main road and suddenly come across a tiny alleyway that you swore wasn't there before. And anywhere you go you'll never be more than 10 feet away from some sort of bar/cafe/restaurant. Bar Brera is just one of them. In truth it's nothing more special than any of the others really. But it's the only name i could remember. This really is the perfect place to wile away the hours with a few cups of coffee, the occasional pastry or sandwich, and hang around until it becomes ad acceptable time of day to purchase a bottle of local wine (Hell of a lot cheaper than the beer) and then step into a restaurant for a delicious 3 course meal with complimentary aperifs. Try the Milanese risotto. That's a law for any foreigner.

Yelp
I just love the hustle and bustle here. It never ends. I guess location is key!

Yelp
Nice service, good coffee, great place to watch people go by. Not too crowdy :) nice terrac in the sun :D

Yelp
One of the worst "aperitivo" in Milano: expensive and with very bad-quality food...with small quantities! :(
