Living in Amsterdam for 4 months, Bar Buka was a staple for me and my friends. One of the very few non male-dominated queer spaces in Amsterdam. It is really cute, has good music, and feels quite welcoming! The cocktails are also DELICIOUS! Would recommend the Pink Pleasure. Bartenders were also always very nice!

I'm visiting Amsterdam for the first time and Bar Buka was recommenced to me by a free people who frequent this place. Tonight the Netherlands played Japan in the World Cup so it was a great night to experience a new place. Service was excellent, the owner is pleasant and the patrons were dope. I had a great time and definitely will be back!

I loved this lesbian bar!! I'm from America and heard this is pretty much the only lesbian bar in Amsterdam. There were a lot of young people here and some older people too. There isn't really a dance floor but some people starting dancing later into the night. They played good music and at a good volume to give a party atmosphere.

I love Bar Buka! So fun that there's a lesbian bar, and I love the tagline "where girls meet girls." I didn't meet any girls, but I gave off pretty closed off vibes playing a card game with my friend. Would definitely go again, the vibes were on point and it was nice that there was a board game meetup there!

We were there on a very quiet night. Atmosphere was calm and friendly. The owner seems to be enthousiast and friendly host. Nice beer and bitterballen. It is so nice that we have this bar in Amsterdam. Only two of them. Just a place to be and have a nice conversation with your wife. We will definitely come back also for one of the event nights.
