This place is unbelievable and 100% lives up to the hype. It's tough to get a reservation, but worth the effort if you are able to. I swear the bartender and entire staff are the hardest working people ever. Things to know: - It's a tiny bar, not a lot of seats. Trying to get a walk-in the night-of is not possible. - You don't necessarily need a bar seat, can just sit at a table. This is because for every cocktail you order, you are called up to the center seat at the bar for the bartender's making/performance of your cocktail where you can photograph and video center-stage. - The cocktails aren't crazy expensive - basically on par with big city bar prices. - They have a menu of "performance" cocktails, but they also do traditional cocktails - and yes the bartender also has an amazing performance for those as well. - Every single person gets to take a picture with the bartender at the end of their stay after they pay the bill. Seriously ever person there was incredibly nice and accommodating. The entire staff takes tons of pictures for you, with custom lighting. I swear everyone in there is working as hard as possible to give you a top tier experience.

If Mozart was a bartender or if Van Gogh got into cocktails this would be the place they would open. Run by a multi-time world champion. The drinks are ingeniously crafted My friend ordered even an off menu drink which was prepared with craftsmanship showmanship and had a delicious taste. In fact the The ice and the drink was carved to look like a rose. I got two drinks One was a hot coffee drink and another was a frozen cocktail with matcha ice cream on top. The hot coffee drink presentation involved fire and the frozen cocktail involved dry ice and glitter. The showmanship was amazing as I was mesmerized and felt like I got transported into another world or making a cocktail is a way of life and a way of art. The taste was some of the best I've ever had and when you combine it with the showmanship and quality it is experience you'll never forget.

Excellent performance and great service. Some reviews mentioned that this place is overpriced, but I disagree. I spent 4000 yen for drink + 1000 yen for table charge + 500 yen tax = 5,500 yen for one person, which included one drink from the menu, ice water, champagne, a clean towel and performance, totally worth it. The staff explained the highlights of each drink. When it was your turn to let Mr Yuzo to make your order, the staff brought you right in front of the bar, facing Mr. Yuzo, allowing you to take photos or videos while enjoying the performance. So even if you are seated at a table, you still have the chance to record videos from the best viewpoint. Great atmosphere and reasonable prices. I will definitely come back the next time if I visit Tokyo. Payment mode: They do accept cash and credit cards.

This bar makes you feel like a king/Queen! I was by myself and didn’t have a reservation, nor was I casually dressed, yet they allowed me in right away. The staff were so helpful and nice; they helped me take cool pictures. They especially understand lighting as well as taking multiple shots. I wasn’t another number to serve to them; I was the customer they were going to make my day. They wanted to know where I’m from, as well as asked how my stay at the bar and Japan was, and they provided great detail to what the drinks are. The bartender was so nice. I was trying to be formal and very modest, but he welcomed me and made me feel happy and let me feel myself. His craftsmanship is beyond other bartenders. He’s hardworking, in the moment, and kind, knowing he’s making someone’s day. (Very important) Even if you don’t get a bar seat for the perfect drink shots, you can still watch your drinks being made — there are two middle seats where you can see all the action when your drinks are prepared. He makes people’s day by doing this, and I appreciate that more than they can imagine. Each drink is a show you’ll never forget. If you want a show, an awesome atmosphere, amazing service, and a quality drink, DO NOT miss this beautiful bar—you won’t regret it.

If you can score a reservation — especially a seat at the bar counter — this will easily be one of the best experiences of your Tokyo trip. You immediately notice Yuzo’s attention to detail and dedication to his craft. From the hostess checking you in to the staff making sure everything is perfect, the experience fully justifies the price of the cocktails. Even after the bar closed past 3am, they let guests stay, hang out, and even served complimentary plum wine until the first subway started running again. Unforgettable hospitality. If I come back to Tokyo, this is a guaranteed return visit.

You can taste the craft in every sip. The bartender works with calm focus. No rush. No noise. Just precision. You sit there and watch someone who actually knows the craft. Ingredients are top quality. Spirits are rare and respected. Even a simple cocktail feels elevated. Atmosphere is intimate and elegant. Quiet confidence. This was our second time visiting Bar Centifolia — we were here last year and fell in love with the Popcorn Cocktail. Tonight, we were lucky enough to get a seat again, and it was another wonderful evening. A magical place with incredible drinks and warm hospitality — can’t wait to come back!
