Such a great brunch!! I’ve never had such good scrambled eggs with the Uova al Tartufo. It was incredible! We got the parfait as well which was light and delicious. The French toast was a bit small. I would have preferred either three piece of the small bread slices or larger piece, it wasn’t enough for the price compared to a lot of other good quality brunches in the city that offer better portion sizes without lacking quality. That is the only thing making the a 4 star instead of 5.

Terroni Bar Centrale has a great neighborhood feel. The cappuccino was excellent—small, but that’s exactly how it’s served in Italy, which I appreciated. The space itself is inviting, and the overall vibe made it clear this is a place locals truly consider their bar. I wish there were more spots like this throughout Toronto.

Popular brunch spot! The seats are a little cramped but the food and atmosphere are excellent. I love the poached eggs with meatballs, yum!

Came here for a friends Birthday and I was thoroughly impressed. Really nice atmosphere and great service as well with some properly prepared cocktails made for an enjoyable night. We just tried a bunch of appetizers and everything was spot on made with care and quality ingredients and tasted great too so I’ll be sure to return again one day for the full dinner experience 💯

Fantastic restaurant and very authentic cuisine. Really loved the food here. Pleasant ambiance with some tables having a view of the busy road, courteous staff, and professional service. Do ensure a reservation in advance as it is a popular place and worth a visit. Don't ask what's is the best dish here. Every item on the menu is super delicious and choose a dish that rings a bell with you. An enjoyable experience...

Quiet and comfortable for a morning breakfast. My eggs were poached beautifully and brioche was toasted nicely. I asked about adding meat but the server didn’t seem to have any knowledge of how to add it even though it was on a different dish.

Without a doubt Bar Centrale Di Terroni has my heart. The tiniest of all the Terroni group which are all incredible. But this little one is straight out of Italy. Go for a simple espresso, stay for eggs or eat one of their amazing dinners. Sunday’s are a must for family night with a creative prix fixe. Because it is small, because it has its own kitchen there are more specials which I always like. The service is also very friendly and accommodating here. Went here one night hoping to have a nice family dinner. Made a reservation online for 8:30pm. It was honestly the worst service I have ever experienced. When you go somewhere for dinner and are spending over $350 for a meal, you don't want to feel like the restaurant doesn't want you there. As we were being seated upstairs, we heard some servers say "why are you putting them there?" while we were walking by to sit down. We were rushed by the server so many, many times. Very odd behaviour asking customers if they are going to want dessert while they just received the main. Because if you want dessert the pastry chef has to stay longer, if you are not going to want dessert then the pastry chef can leave but don't feel bad if you want dessert, the chef will stay for you. So we said yes, we want dessert. Dessert was a small glass of tiramisu pre-made in a jar. Did the chef really have to stay behind to make that for us? And why are they leaving in the middle of dinner anyways? We were still eating when they turned the lights on, started putting the chairs up on the tables around us and the server was standing very close-by just staring at us to hurry up and finish. It was just the strangest. If you want people out of your restaurant by 9:00pm then don't allow reservations to be made at 8:30pm. The food was fine but I will never go there again. It was a waste of money.

Hits and misses. Bar Centrale (by Terroni) was a treat of awesomes, mehs, and oofs. Came here for brunch and got: - Chickpea Fries: Pretty good. Fries were done well with a nice spice to them. - Uova al Tartufo: Soft scrambled eggs on toast with black truffle and parmigiano. The eggs were tasteless, the toast was a bit hard, and maybe my palette isn't discerning enough but where was the black truffle?? - Uova e Polpette: Poached eggs and veal meatballs in tomato sauce. The eggs and tomato sauce were average, but the meatballs were really tasty and done well (not crumbly or lumpy). - Pandolci: Apparently these were Scandinavian style pancakes. They were crispy outside but soft and pillowy inside. The side nutella and jam were nice, but they were actually good enough to be eaten by themselves (if you like bread-y stuff). Overall, Bar Centrale was fine. I just can't strongly recommend it as it wasn't consistently good.

Great place for brunch if you don't feel like traveling downtown. Food is delicious and reasonably priced.

Bar Centrale is part of the Terroni empire, located on the ground floor of the Terroni at Summerhill. Overall a decent dinner experience. I loved the interior, dark-ish inside with nice lighting, nice and quiet. They still had their Christmas decorations up which were super classy (greenery with copper-coloured accents) and added a nice sparkle. We were seated near the front window which was a nice area but was pretty cold (although it was -20 that night). My boyfriend and I shared two of the daily specials, pizza, and lasagna with side salad. Both were good, the pizza was a thick flatbread-style (versus the ultra thin crust at most Terroni locations) and was decent, although not super hot by the time it arrived to our table. Lasagna was a good portion and nice it came with a side salad (although wasn't anything special). Our server was very friendly but unfortunately she either took her break or went off shift and we weren't sure who to ask about dessert or to get the bill. Overall we left satisfied but not wowed. I think I'd maybe come back here for a drink (has such a nice date night feel) but maybe not have dinner.

It's a nice place very near Summerhill and and Rosedale. Food is decent and it's not too bad a price given the location. Great for brunch I had the poached egg and meatballs. Quite tasty. Coffee was decent too. Good option for brunch. Don't come too late!

Pretty good brunch! My hubby and I got a bunch of stuff, and I enjoyed the uova e polpette (eggs and meatballs, which were really tasty and well made) and pandolci (Scandinavian pancakes, which were light and fluffy and airy) the most. I can see myself going back if I'm in the mood for an Italian brunch in the Summerhill area.

I was so disappointed with Bar Centrale last night. We ordered a pizza online - it said 17-30 minutes. I showed up at 17 minutes knowing it might not be ready - but when the young woman finally brought the order out 20 minutes later, it was ice cold when I got it home five minutes later. We ended up having to put it in the oven to heat it up. I realize these are trying times and staff may have switched up, but it doesn't appear to be rocket science to bring orders out as they come up and not have a box sitting on the counter for 15 minutes. The pizza is very acceptable but we'll order from Buca next time until they have their system more organized.

Amazing authentic homemade pastas. Wonderful atmosphere. Great for a special occasion or casual dining.
