The food was so good. We ordered two fish dishes and it has such good taste. The waiters are super nice and friendly— asked one of them to take a picture and he posed .. hilarious !! You can sit outside and sip on beer and sangria. Highly recommend.

I asked if they could make eggs as I didn't see it on the menu and one of the staff members looked at me like I had seven heads lol they finally said yes but even the coffee was below average.

My wife and I had a portion of Chorizo frito and Morcilla. Our perception was great. The service could be a bit better, but they had tons of order at the same time. This bar has a unique location and attracts a lot of people passing by. For me, this establishment keeps the tradition of a real bar of madrid in a time that all restaurants around turist points are chains or just fake tradition. I am from Brazil, and this took me back to the " pé sujo com comida boa e boms amigos". For me, it was a great experience.

Just get a drink or patatas bravas. Even though I knew the restaurants around the plaza mayor are notoriously not good and tourist traps we ate here because it was cold rainy and we had just arrived after 12 hours of flying. The old man was nice outside and inside but the food was jus Blah. No taste to the pollo a la plancha and my dorado was not cooked all the way. Compared to Miami the prices weren’t bad but for Madrid I would say a little on the higher side. Definitely don’t recommend anything else other than drinks.

Meh. Food was ok. I won’t ever come back but once it’s fine. Staff was pretty rude and that’s why it looses two stars. They forgot a cup with ice for one of the 3 drinks and I had to beg for it and they made me feel like I shouldn’t be asking for anything. Try to order everything you want in one go, they hate when you ask for additional food. I had the cheesecake which was pretty delicious. My main plate was the Entrecot (beef steak), they cooked it medium rare, fries where very salty, they forgot the condiments for the salad but after the episode with the glass with ice I wouldn’t dare ask for anything else.
