Bar Chiaia

I was in Naples on July 19 to July 23, 2024 and it was a solo trip. On the 1st day I arrived, I had a glass of Prosecco at this bar before checking in. I stayed at the hotel right above this bar! The Prosecco was very good and so were the little bowls of snacks! I loved the atmosphere here, seemed very friendly with always a nice group of people sitting and enjoying a drink! The staff was very nice and, the day I returned from Pasitano, I stopped for a glass of Prosecco too!!! The Cherry Fruit smoothie was very good too!

Everyone is hating on this place in the reviews for cost. Everything cost about half what we would pay in Dublin! We got 2 aprol spritz which were the best I’ve had so far in Napoli, €7 each and come with free snacks. How bad heh?

I'm wondering why it's so low rated, great Aperol for 7€ and a few snacks. I got nothing to complain about.

2€ espresso, 4 € Fanta at the table. Toilet door is broken, no paper and water in sink. Coffee was fine.

Very good coffee decafenato for a reasonable price. Very friendly and helpful waiter.

1 small coca cola 4€!!! Crazy prices, weird staff, toilet without even paper. Very bad place

Unfriendly and intimidating personel

I ordered a cappuccino to go. It was lukewarm and served in a plastic cup. When I tried to sit outside to drink the coffee at their table for a little while, they told me that I can't be there and I have to leave. No wonder why they have so many negative reviews. Ho ordinato un cappuccino da asporto. Era appena tiepido e servito in un bicchiere di plastica. Quando ho provato a sedermi fuori per berlo a un tavolino, mi hanno detto che non potevo restare e che dovevo andarmene. Non c’è da meravigliarsi se hanno così tante recensioni negative.
