Bar Cugat

We may have come on a day which was tough as the service was not typical to Spain/Barcelona. The food was basic, ok but comparing to others not good. The rice with seafood was very dry, like was reheated several times and my cannelloni came with a piece of plastic, probably from the box they purchased Bottom like, the 2 star might be more than what they deserve.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Aitana is hands down the best waitress ever. From the moment we sat down, she was warm, attentive, and genuinely made the whole experience feel special. She has that rare balance of being incredibly professional while also making you feel totally at ease and cared for. She was knowledgeable about the menu, gave great recommendations, and checked in at just the right moments without ever being intrusive. You can tell she truly loves what she does, and it absolutely elevates the entire Bar Cugat experience. If you’re lucky enough to be served by Aitana, you’re in for a treat. She’s exceptional and a huge reason we’ll be coming back. 👏🍷

Enjoyed our lunch over at Bar Cugat. We were in the area and just stumbled across this spot craving a nice beverage and some simple eats. It served that purpose perfectly. The atmosphere is nice and homey with great lighting. Feels like a local spot and overall very welcoming which I enjoyed. We wound up sitting outside and had solid service throughout a busy lunch. Ordered tapas all of which were tasty. I appreciated how they had a few different options than the typical spot like the mini burger and boa as well as the Russian tuna potato salad. Food was affordable and I particularly liked the clara beverage which we tried for the first time. Would definitely come back for an easy lunch.

Really amazing, ordered the croquettas, clams, and pan con tomate, was given olives as well. For how affordable and authentic it was it’s a gem of a place. Service was impeccable as well, thank you Aitana!

A great tapas bar not too far from the busy shopping street Passeig de Gracia. Both locals and expats come here a lot so it is better to reserve if you come in group (4-8 people). Highly recommend the patatas bravas, tortilla, artichoke with ham and ox tail croquettes (if you don’t mind the heavy taste of meat). The bar itself is very cute with vintage decorations and furniture. Service is fast and friendly. Price and quality ratio is great. We ordered 2 drinks and 5 tapas for 35€. Highly recommended!

Busy place with a lively atmosphere. Good tapas and selection of vines. Super friendly staff and really fast service. Cool location with a very high ceiling, resulting in not the best acoustics, but somehow, it just adds to the atmosphere in a good way. D!
