Bar da Cachaça

Brilliant place to try lots of different flavours of Cachaça. And very cheap too, with great service!

Local bar with good vibes, super central in Lapa. Best for some relaxed drinks or just doing pres for a big night out in Rio.

Skip the flavored cachaças everyone goes for and try the white or wood-aged ones. You can travel Brazil with a couple of plastic cups and a well-lined stomach.

Seats on the street only but great atmosphere! Great selections and exotic flavors! And indeed some show on the other side of the street....

Spirits from several states of Brazil, for people who like hard liquor it's a place to know in Lapa. Some are quite good, some has dubious taste, but it's a cheap option with many possibilities. Outdoor seating only and they accept credit cards.

Food so good....you can eat it cold. Be ready to dine late...Brazilian do not like to to rush their meal. Eat slow ...servers slow...that's the rule. Can't wait to come back!!

Lapa is the place to be on Thursdays and Fridays and bar de cachaca lets you try sooo many varities of cachaca to your hearts content. My friend tried pistachio, mango and a bottle of cachaca which had a snake in it! Whaaatt?! This is a really fun place to start your night at Lapa, meet up with friends, get drinks, chill outside or just people watch. Lapa never disappoints just make sure you dont bring any valuables and just enough cash.

Trust! If you like Caipirinhas, THUS IS IT!! Love em and this place was TOO STRONG FOR ME! Lol I drink them all day at Copacabana, but one was enough on a night out with my Carioca girlies from Rio! Lol Thumbs UP!

This bar is famous for beeing the place to go wen everything is ending or to warm up. The bar is a really small place but people buy something and drink on the street, all kinds of people go there from hobos to famous people the only problem is the price since the bar is really small and dont ofer much things besides the cachacas

Lapa is definitely the place to be on Thursdays and Fridays and has many options to go out all night long. Bar da Cachaça is always a great starting point for a fun night and although the bar itself is small, outside there is probably enough space for more than fifty people to enjoy a beer, caipirinha or, their specialty, ginger cachaça. Bar da Cachaça is very suitable to meet up with a group of friends. Although you could easily stay at Bar da Cachaça until it closes, if you want to go out and dance, you are close to a large amount of clubs to continue your night out!

Not the fanciest place but a place to meet with people. Many different kinds of cachaça and a good starter bar (or the last place the crush). Nothing to spent a whole evening. Still it is a Llapa original and has to be visited at least once. Try the ginger cachaça if you want to spice up your evening!

Best dive bar around. The drinks are superb given the price. A must go for a lapa night out. L
