Bar del Sole

We regret not coming here more often! We had lunch and dinner here and both times were absolutely delicious. The carbonara was some of the best I’ve had. The meatballs were very tender and juicy. For dinner we had steak and the sea bream. Both full of flavor and cooked perfectly. To top it all off the view is absolutely amazing. You are looking out on the coast and can catch the most beautiful sunsets. This is also one of the very few places we visited in Italy that doesn’t have a cover charge (yay!). We loved that there was a place to park the Vespa nearby as well. Wish we had spent more time here. 😊

We stopped here to watch the beautiful sunset and grabbed a Negroni and limoncello spritz. Both were made well and I was able to get the spritz to be a little less sweet. The Negroni was great. They also serve a little bar snack plate with a drink order which was a nice treat. The views are amazing here. The staff are also very helpful and pleasant!!

Stumbled upon this cafe for cappuccino. My wife and I are vegan and they had vegan croissant, fruit platter, and they customized their avocado toast for us. Everything was delicious and the service was great. They have soy, almond, and oat milk for coffees.

During our stay here in Praiano we visited Bar del Sole on numerous occasions. It’s a great restaurant for a nice dinner with a beautiful ocean view sitting out on the patio. Food was yummy, our favorite being the pasta carbonara. For breakfast was a great place to stop by and get something on the go, they have plenty of options for pastries and drinks. Highly recommend stopping by and eating here!

It is not the 1st time here but I enjoyed the lunch. I eat a chicken salad with cease sauce, italian version , breakfast and desserts are delicious too. The best in area. And the view is gorgeous ....

Amazing breakfast here! The staff was friendly, the views are AMAZING, and we were recommended by our Airbnb host who is local to Praiano. 10/10 recommend!

This is the second time we have been on holiday here in Praiano and we always come to this beautiful bar the last time we were here was in 2019 , even then it was always lively and the staff were absolutely fantastic, now it’s changed quite a bit but for the better. The staff ie Manuel , Giovanni , Giuseppe , Diego are all lovely people who go out of their way to help you and make you feel so much at home. The food is amazing and the ice cream is to die for. I’ve got to say if you’re ever in Praiano even just passing you will always be greeted with a smile and fantastic hospitality you could not wish for more Thank you from Marc and Tina from Liverpool England 😊😊😊👌

Went there during my stay at Praiano. The service was good, but the bread they gave us was stale and my carbonara pasta looked quite different from the photos. The sauce was too heavy and thick, and there was a short hair in it (it was under the pasta so it definitely wasn’t mine). My boyfriend liked his plate, but didn’t like mine either.

Stopped for an early evening cocktail and snack at the recommendation of the driver who brought us to Praiano. There's a view of the water from the patio (it's across the street) and patio seemed to fill up even during off hours. Cocktails were tasty. Gelato was good. Service was meh. Pricing was high but as expected. Praiano is a pretty sleepy town so was glad there was a spot to stop off and have a drink.

We stepped into Bar Del Sole a little after eight am, the rain steady, and found a kind of comfort that didn't need much explaining. An espresso, a pistachio croissant, a bottle of sparkling water, and time to just sit. The staff didn't hover. They just let us be, like they somehow knew we needed the quiet. We watched the morning unfold through the open door, locals passing through, life moving gently around us. It wasn't fancy, just honest and good. The kind of place that makes you feel like you belong, even if you're just passing through.

This was located right below our air bnb while my husband and I stayed in Praiano for our honeymoon. It became our little hub. We always had the taxis drop us off here because they all knew where it was. The staff is friendly, the pastries and granita are great, the espresso is nice, and it's located right by the water so can't beat the views.

Wow. Rude is what I need to start with. Visiting and instantly prejudiced against because we're women. They instantly thought we were only there for bus tickets when we wanted drinks and to watch the game. We asked if futbol on and they instantly laughed in our faces and said what game and when we told them, they laughed harder and said they won't play that there. First time in there and the instant feeling we got was disrespect and not welcoming at all. Don't bother going, they'll just be rude and disrespectful to you the whole time.

It's called "Bar Del Sole," for a reason. It's because this bar is built in the middle of a sunny hillside neighborhood (Street Parking Only) of a view where the sun meets your eye. It's one of the most romantic spots in Praiano!!! WHY?? Because the clear mountains and ocean can be seen here, all in the luxury of wonderful weather, champagne in your hand, and maybe a small pastry here and there. It's where you can bring a group of friends or a loved one, a significant one and make important memories here. It's super chill. I believe it's next to a small cathedral as well and you can stand next to that very top of this yellowish building. It's an astonishing view. I think the menu is very nice, mostly teas, booze, Cappuccinos are made with a little, happy sunshine smiling right back at you!!!

Beautiful breakfast spot in Praiano. A great place to grab an early morning cafe latte/espresso while enjoying stellar views of the coast. Also, the chocolate croissant was AMAZING.

Fun casual atmosphere. Great place to relax and watch the sunset. Only had drinks but the staff was very friendly and the drinks were great.

This place is awesome, good people watching action and the staff is nice as all get out. Drinks are on point, haven't eaten here but looks good. Great for hanging out on the patio drinking and shooting the shit.

Four of us came to this bar after trying to go to Vivaro Wine Bar (which was closed at 7), a couple of mins walk west from this one, and we are glad we did. We had outdoor seating, ordered a few drinks and enjoyed the spectacular views of the surroundings at sunset. The bar was not too crowded, but almost every table was filled. This is a nice bar for a stopover for drinks, especially at sunset.
