The tiramisu is amazing. The 5 stars is just for the tiramisu. Super silky, coffee flavor not too heavy, good proportion on each bite, great texture.
Food is ok.

Five stars all round. What a great place for lunch. Great prices, generous serves and an awesome busy atmosphere. I had the Pici Norcino (beef/pork), pici cinghiale (wild boar), spaghetti carbonara and other things !

It was very busy so that's good but full of people speaking with bad language!!! Staff is very rude, not really friendly and not helpful. Food...starter was nice, but I had better antipasti in different places... My main was extremely cold. I couldn't believe that!!! They changed it, arrived again but it was so oily that I was in struggle to eat it....
My wife's pasta was ok. Actually, it was really nice, and I regretted that I didn't choose it!!!
Overall, it was a bad experience... I don't suggest this place!!!

Wow! Second time we have dined in this place and it doesn't disappoint! The lasagna dish is just perfect! Great service too! Really cute and friendly waitresses, especially the lady who speaks English.

Very good food at a roadside restaurant. Nothing fancy, but food is worth it. Service is ok. Takes a while, but once you place your order, it's pretty good. Prices are reasonable. It's more like a stop by to eat kind of place with a "don't expect anything fancy."

As local as it gets, full of people with dogs, Police, Aeronautics, everyone dines here. Busy during lunch, we were lucky to get a spot outside.
Ribollita was delicious, and the wild boar 🐗 pici was marvellous so was the cacio e pepe. The quantity is big, so plan ahead and eat a small brekkie.
Tiramisu on par with the best trattorias
Very good service too

Yelp
We had a bit of time to kill on our way to Siena from Florence so we stopped here on our way to the castle located right above this restaurant. We actually didn't know we'd end up finding this gem. I originally thought we would park our car at the bottom and hike up to the castle, but as it turns out you can park up there.
So before going up, we had a meal here.
What a great find.
Such a gem. Truly.
As we weren't that hungry, we just had their house red and 2 plates of pasta.
I knew I was going to love Siena after that first bite.
Wow.
Seriously the best I'd had.
Even the bacon tasted better.
Their dishes were so simple, but the taste was out of this world.
Even the house red was out of this world.

Yelp
The host at our bed & breakfast (who happens to be an extraordinary chef and lifelong local to the area) suggested this place and it did not disappoint! Delicious food. Try the sampler, so you can taste 3 different pastas. We ordered whatever the waitress recommended. Amatriciana was our favorite, but they were all excellent (others were Cacio Pepe and Wild Boar Ragu).
This place is no fuss, simple high quality food. Even the Parmesan cheese on our table was excellent (which I suppose is no surprise in Italy!)

Yelp
Stopped in on our way from Siena. Waitress was very helpful in selecting a great selection of cured meats and cheese. We were stuffed but ordered pasta anyway. My wife ordered the local pasta shape, pici. It was like really thick spaghetti 3 inches long. She had the garlic tomato sauce. Very good. I had carbonara with papperadelle pasta. Also excellent. It is right on the road but was an authentic experience. They spoke English and were accommodating. House wine was +-. Get something else for wine. Nice stop and not a tourist trap.

Yelp
I only came here 5 times during the 6 days I was in the vicinity. Go for lunch, go for dinner, pick up a few to go sandwiches on your way out to where ever during the day. Whatever it is, this place is simple, straight forward and the real deal legit. Big fan
