Super cute bistro, the wild boar sauce with homemade pasta was delicious. Also the carciofo of the starter, amazing.

Very good food at a roadside restaurant. Nothing fancy, but food is worth it. Service is ok. Takes a while, but once you place your order, it's pretty good. Prices are reasonable. It's more like a stop by to eat kind of place with a "don't expect anything fancy."

As local as it gets, full of people with dogs, Police, Aeronautics, everyone dines here. Busy during lunch, we were lucky to get a spot outside. Ribollita was delicious, and the wild boar 🐗 pici was marvellous so was the cacio e pepe. The quantity is big, so plan ahead and eat a small brekkie. Tiramisu on par with the best trattorias Very good service too

A lovely stop for lunch with delicious pasta dishes and sandwiches, a variety of beers and a really tasty house red! Staff was attentive and friendly and service was quick! Reasonable prices, Peak-a-boo view of castle on the hill. Would def come back!

We ate there twice. It was a convenient location recommended by our host and the homestay we were at in Siena. Their pasta al ragù were very good, hearty, and wholesome with their homemade tagliatelle. The portion was huge as you can see from the photo. The sliced steak was nice too. The cheesecake with berry jam, was too sweet as they had had put way too much jam on top. However, at dinner time we had a different experience. Everything we ordered seemed too salty. We ordered the beef peposa and the meatballs that was on the menu of the day. Service was good for this kind of fast eating joint /trattoria as opposed to romantic dining place where you'd expect more service. Overall would still recommend this place for a quick stopover meal located on the main road with plenty of parking. They offer generous portions and have plenty to choose from on the menu. They seem to have received many awards too.

It was very busy so that's good but full of people speaking with bad language!!! Staff is very rude, not really friendly and not helpful. Food...starter was nice, but I had better antipasti in different places... My main was extremely cold. I couldn't believe that!!! They changed it, arrived again but it was so oily that I was in struggle to eat it.... My wife's pasta was ok. Actually, it was really nice, and I regretted that I didn't choose it!!! Overall, it was a bad experience... I don't suggest this place!!!

Yelp
We had a bit of time to kill on our way to Siena from Florence so we stopped here on our way to the castle located right above this restaurant. We actually didn't know we'd end up finding this gem. I originally thought we would park our car at the bottom and hike up to the castle, but as it turns out you can park up there. So before going up, we had a meal here. What a great find. Such a gem. Truly. As we weren't that hungry, we just had their house red and 2 plates of pasta. I knew I was going to love Siena after that first bite. Wow. Seriously the best I'd had. Even the bacon tasted better. Their dishes were so simple, but the taste was out of this world. Even the house red was out of this world. Viva Italia.

Yelp
The host at our bed & breakfast (who happens to be an extraordinary chef and lifelong local to the area) suggested this place and it did not disappoint! Delicious food. Try the sampler, so you can taste 3 different pastas. We ordered whatever the waitress recommended. Amatriciana was our favorite, but they were all excellent (others were Cacio Pepe and Wild Boar Ragu). This place is no fuss, simple high quality food. Even the Parmesan cheese on our table was excellent (which I suppose is no surprise in Italy!)

Yelp
Good service, good food, good price. A must if you are in the area. Home made pasta even with a gluten free option.

Yelp
Stopped in on our way from Siena. Waitress was very helpful in selecting a great selection of cured meats and cheese. We were stuffed but ordered pasta anyway. My wife ordered the local pasta shape, pici. It was like really thick spaghetti 3 inches long. She had the garlic tomato sauce. Very good. I had carbonara with papperadelle pasta. Also excellent. It is right on the road but was an authentic experience. They spoke English and were accommodating. House wine was +-. Get something else for wine. Nice stop and not a tourist trap.

Yelp
I only came here 5 times during the 6 days I was in the vicinity. Go for lunch, go for dinner, pick up a few to go sandwiches on your way out to where ever during the day. Whatever it is, this place is simple, straight forward and the real deal legit. Big fan
