Listen...this place is great! The food is so good. Drinks are tasty too. The service was excellent. The owner is super nice. The have outdoor seating but there is also a small indoor area available. The ribs were my favorite

Incredible restaurant! Everything I tried was amazing but the ribs in particular stand out. Be sure to wash it down with a freezing cold beer. Did not realize how famous it was until we started talking to the owner.

Best local bar/restaurant in the area. Fantastic food, even more fantastic are the owner/daughter and the atmosphere every other Sunday evenings!

This was absolutely amazing! From the first contact with the service until the moment we left. The best experience we had so far in Rio. So friendly stuff. The owner, David, came to say hello and had a little chat with us. Besides the warm welcome the food was outstanding. Especially the „small“ snacks - remarkable! I would highly recommend this place to everyone who wants a taste of Brazil on all levels. We will be back next week for sure.

Brilliant restaurant. The service was a bit slow and confused but the food made up for it. One of the best meals we had in Brazil! Please don't worry about the favella, it is super safe, arguably safer than the whole Copacabana. Funny story, we asked the waitress whether the pea soup is vegan, to which she said yes, she double checked with the kitchen to make sure there was no milk inside. Well, there may not have been any milk inside but there was a sausage, not so vegan after all :D

The beer and the views were nice. But I simply cannot understand that a bar that is so proud of its food has almost no vegetarian dishes! Is it so difficult to produce something besides fries that has no meat or seafood in it? Times are changing, please change with them.

An incredible experience within the favela. Food is delicious. Order the referencia starter, you will fall in love.

Amazing sea food (yummy well sized proportions) very well presented, awesome cocktails well worth the short but rather steep walk up the hill. Despite being dark out we did not feel threatened whilst in the area. The English menu was helpful, staff were friendly and food was prepared and served promptly; very happy. Will visit again.
